We called to have inspection of AC because it was not cooling house well. Repair tech came during appointment window, thoroughly inspected both furnace and AC. See services performed.

The process was made easy. We were offered a variety of options before choosing the higher end product. The order was placed and the date of installation was made at one time. The installtion went very smoothly and the product and usage explained. The installers wore "booties" so as not to soil the carpet and were very polite and professional.

Our A/C failed during the Memorial Day holiday. A Brennan technician came to our home during the following week to inspect the A/C unit and performed a leak check. Found a leak in the outside coil. Technician gave us a choice: repair the coil for $1800 or replace the unit. He said that the repair might last a year or so and then we would need a new system. The other choice was a new system. My wife and I were hot and desperate so we asked about a new system. Technician explained to us that we could get one of three A/C systems. After a discussion, my wife and I settled on the best option. We were quoted a price of $10,000 for the A/C unit and replacing (we thought) the blower and some duct work in the basement. The day came for the installation. The technician and a helper came out and did a great job doing the installation. The surprise was that our gas furnace, which was less that 10 yrs old and running well ,had been replaced. We were surprise because the technician during his sales pitch never said that the furnace would be replaced. He never walked us through the basement to show us what he was proposing. We felt that somehow we were not fully informed. Yes, we signed the papers and paid for the unit. That was our responsibility. However, Brennan's technician was not clear about what the job entailed and most of all make it clear to us that we were getting more than an A/C unit but also a new furnace. My wife and I have very mixed feelings about our experience with the company. They are excellent technicians, professional in every way. As far as sales, they have a lot to learn when explaining the nature of the work.

My experience with Brennan's was excellent from start to finish. Their office and sales staff and the installation technicians were extremely courteous and professional. I am extremely pleased with my new air conditioner and once summer arrives, I'm sure I will appreciate it even more. I've since discovered that several of my co-workers have also used Brennan's; they appear to have a great reputation and rightfully so.

Very good overall experience on our new HVAC system. Installation went smoothly. We've had a couple of fuse issues with the new system, but they promptly send someone to fix it and the work is covered under warranty, so there is no additional cost. I would recommend them.

We had asked for a humidifier to be included with the heating system but the kids installing it could not install the one that was ordered. We were very disappointed because they chose not to install it instead of telling my husband who was home there was a problem. But a manager came out and a different unit was installed. Overall very happy with them!

The air conditioner ran for a few days and cooled for a while and then stopped cooling. I called Brennan's to come and take a look at it. I called and left a message over the weekend and someone called me back at the beginning of the week. I made the appointment for a Wednesday between 1pm-5pm. The repairman showed up during the time frame promised. He came in and turned the unit on and went to the inside unit first. The first thing he went to was the "look at the coils you need a new system." The system is old, but he could have waited until after taking a full look at things before making this statement. After this he went outside and looked at the outdoor unit and said the capacitor was not working and needed to be replaced. He replaced the capacitor and the system has been working well since then. The technician was helpful in giving some maintenance tips and advice. He charged $94 dollars for the diagnostic fee and $244 for the capacitor. All of the pricing I could find on line for the Ultramet Turbo 200 capacitor puts the retail in the $80 -90 range from wholesellers. Great job and solid workmanship and good product knowledge, however the price seems a bit high and I could do without the immediate scare tactics.

Despite the 20-year-old age of our heating/cooling system, the technician from Brennan's miraculously had a part on hand which saved us from having to buy a whole new thermostat. The technician was thorough, competent and did not cut corners.

The sales representative, Kali Davis, came by the house at a mutually agreeable time to discuss replacing the air conditioning unit. He advised us that the off-season cost, good to the end of March, would be the best time to replace the unit. Although the original unit was still operating, it was 22 years old and less efficient. My wife and I have a list of home improvements needed as we approach retirement. This was one. We agreed to have Brennan do the job. They came at the appointed time and the whole project took about four hours to complete. There were three workmen who arrived, but one left shortly afterwards. The two workmen went about their business quietly, courteously and professionally. During the replacement, they discovered some pipe that was originally going to be replaced that still functioned, and keeping it in place saved us an additional $150. Brennan's has not replaced our furnace, about five years ago, and our A/C. Both were done well. I would recommend them to others. However, depending on the service, I would check with two or three other companies to make sure the price is right. In this case, I figured I'd have to pay about $5000. So, I'm pleased the final tag was less than $4200.

Our A/C stopped working in our 10 yr old townhouse that we've owned since it was built. They sent someone out the day after we called and he arrived right on time. The system we had was purchased and installed by the developer and the motor was no longer working. He said that he could fix just the motor but, due to the age of the system, couldn't guarantee that something else wouldn't break in the near future. He suggested that we get a new system and take advantage of the rebate from the manufacturer and the tax break for increasing the energy efficiency of the house. He explained the SEER ratings and how they work and that our current unit's SEER rating was probably less than when it was installed due to age and wear and tear. We would also save more money over time on our energy bills with the new system. We decided to go ahead with the new system but it wouldn't be installed until the beginning of the following week since it was Thursday or Friday at this point. They ended up installing a new motor so we could survive until the new unit was operational which was great since I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Everyone who came to our house was polite, punctual, and neat. My experiences with them have been the best of all my interactions with contractors over the years.

We purchased a new HVAC system from them during the summer and all of a sudden the heater wouldn't work. I was able to talk to someone over the phone on a Saturday and he walked me through some steps to get it working again. He called to follow up on Sunday to see how we were doing and the system was still running. Of course, Murphy's Law went into effect, and it stopped again on Monday. The same person came out and replaced a part that had gone bad. Since the system was still under warranty, there was no cost. It was great to know that someone was available over the weekend if we needed them.

Quoted me a price for a new heat pump and air handler that was close to $2000 more than what their competitors quoted. $2000! That's not even close! I must have sucker printed on my forehead...

On a cold night in early Jan, I noticed that my furnance was not working properly and my house (and wife and 3 kids) were getting colder and colder. I called Brennan at 9pm and they were there within an hour. Not only did he diagnose the problem quickly, he was able to 'jump start' the furnance so the house would be warm overnight. Early the next morning, they had the new part ready and installed it that same day. The technician (David, I believe) was very professional, courteous, and informed. I will definitely contact them again for maintainence and service.

They were punctual and efficient. One thing that was especially nice was that we got a discount for Energy Efficiency for our taxes and they called to remind us to file the paper work. They cleaned up extremely well.

RJ and Derrick did a fantastic job. Very professional and thorough. A real first class job- I am really glad I chose Brennan's.

They did a great job as usual. They do excellent work. They answered the phone when I called and took care of the service immediately. I do not have any intention of using another company for the service.

Bill arrived as promised. He explained what the problems were and show them to me. He then gave me a price on the work which I OKed. He worked without delays and left with everything cleaned up and the exchanger put back together as it was when he arrived. I highly recommend these people

They are reliable and always call before they come. They explain things well. I guess their price is probably in line with others. The clean up after themselves and they are always punctual. They are the only people I have ever used and will continue to use them.

The technicians did a great job, installed both units and they cleaned up after themselves. They had to run a vent to the outside for the new unit. They lined up this vent with the existing duct work to keep it neat in appearance and to reduce the space of low hanging pipes. I have used this company before and they were always helpful, prompt and fair in price.

I called Brennan's based on Angie's List recommendations when my air conditioner suddenly quit working. The technician, Geri, quickly determined the main problem, and he identified several other issues... low on freon, furnace was too big, condenser was too small, and the whole system was well out of date (20 years old). Geri explained several options ranging from do nothing to replace the whole system with the top of the line equipment. I chose the latter after doing a bit of research and hearing about the tax incentives and manufacturer rebate. I was scheduled for installation 3 days later. Derrick and Mike arrived to install the system on time and in uniform. Both were very friendly and certainly knew what they were doing. They quickly went to work and were very respectful of my property, placing runners down to protect the carpet/floors and walking around the house rather than through it to get to the back. They removed all of the old equipment and expertly installed the new. They worked without taking any breaks and the final installation was completely professional looking with all lines neatly tied up and in perfect order. Throughout the installation, techs would stop by and check on the guys. When the job was done, a tech (Geri) came out and inspected the system and the guys gave me a complete class on how to operate the new unit. I chose 12 month same as cash financing and the papers were delivered, already filled out, with highlighted areas for me to sign and tabbed sheets for me to keep. It could not have been any easier! I really felt like they (Brennan's) took personal and professional pride in the work being done. The cost of the unit was high (Carrier Infinity) but I was able to tell an immediate difference in the system. Generally, my home has about a 10 degree difference between my upstairs and downstairs, and that seems to have been completely fixed! I am completely pleased with Brennan's and will be a patron for many years to follow! GREAT WORK GUYS!

Timely response to my call. Quickly diagnosed problem and provided estimate for repair. Initiated repair and finished on-time.

We use them as service contractors. They have been responsive and I have had positive experiences with them. They have come out if I had any problems with the heater and air conditioner. The workers all seemed to be very professional and I had one problem, so I called them and they came out within 24 hours and corrected. Their prices were competitive.

Their price was high but I selected them because they were the first one to call me back. When I called them to fix an appointment the vice president of operations who was covering for the sales manager ended up taking my call and showed up at 8'o clock in the morning. He came and did all the work but he never said that he is the vice president of the company. He was nice and a great guy.

The technicians arrived on time at 6:30 a.m. and got right to work. Drop cloths were placed inside the house covering all carpet and flooring. They soon discovered that the furnace selected would not fit through the opening to the attic crawlspace and contacted their office. It took some time, but a suitable replacement model was found that would fit the space. They worked straight through until about 4:00 p.m. without taking a lunch break. They went over the paperwork with us as we signed everything. All old equipment and parts were removed. A loaner window air conditioning unit had been provided several days before to give us some temporary relief until the system could be installed. They also removed the window unit. They were extremely pleasant and very efficient. They left the house clean and the new air system is working very well.

They were very helpful in trying to make our air conditioner as hair free as possible. I have been using them for about 27 years. They had recommended that we get a different type of air filter as we had a lot of dogs. The air conditioner has been working much better after we got that. They are always friendly and honest. They give good advice too, and don?t recommend things that are not needed. They are great people who are really professional.
