Adam Brown provided highly competent service and explained what was going with our unit. after he took a look at the internal workings of both the inside unit and the outside unit. He was not a heavy handed salesman but he made an impressive sales presentation. Adam was personable and showed concern for the consumer who was hot and looking at the expenditure of thousands of dollars potentially to reply an old system. His professionalism was a credit to Brennans. Adam is the kind of employee that will ensure you always have customers.

Nine years ago, we purchased the Xfinity heat pump from Brennan's and entered into their service program, an arrangement that will be difficult to find again. My husband and I are retiring to North Carolina this summer. Because he was in the military, this will be our 20th move. Through the years, we've dealt with varied companies in multiple locations. Brennan's is the most professional, best managed company we've encountered. The technicians are trained and certified and very proud of their profession, qualities evident in their professionalism, confidence, efficiency, and ability to handle every heat pump's needs. Even more, in this day and age of abruptness, the technicians and office personnel (for when one schedules appointments) are courteous and cheerful. My husband and I can't recommend this company enough. Wish we could take Brennan's with us!

We had an old York system that was 22 years old that died on us. We decided to try this company based on Angie?s List reviews. Billy, the technician, came out and took a look at the system. He said that he hated to tell us this, but that we needed to replace the system. Without us asking him he went back to the truck and came back in, turning off the heat and fixed it enough to give us cool air during this extremely hot time of the year while they got the new Carrier system installed. We scheduled a time for the installers to come and replace the system. They called us before they came out, came on time, worked quietly in our home, making sure not to disturb us, and then got the system installed or us. They even took the time to show up how everything works. Subsequently we noticed that when we turned our thermostat down to 66 the upstairs was not cooling properly. We called them and they sent a technician out promptly and checked the system. It said that it is the nature of having a 3 level town home. He told us to give it some time and it would begin to work. It did not, so we called back and spoke to Patrick. He said that he would come out after the holiday weekend, which he did, on time. He explained the thermostat more thoroughly for us, explained the settings we should have on our system. We found him very polite, prompt, and professional. However, the downside was that when the installers came out, they had to work in our utility room/storage room and they left a terrible mess. We explained this to Patrick, who took pictures of this issue and showed these gentlemen. He gave us a one year service plan for free to make up for this, which we found appropriate.

On the hottest days in weeks, my AC stopped working. I called Brennan's first thing in the morning and they were able to fit me in the same day. The technician was quick to diagnose and replace the part. He was polite and efficient. I opted to sign up for a service contract because I was impressed by their professionalism. Will definitely look forward to seeing them again (for something other than an emergency)! The $300 included the parts, labor and yearly service contract.

This review is a complete reversal of one posted on my behalf on 6/4/14. Mike Brennan contacted me personally about the scheduling problem I had, resolved all issues, and even gave me a discount for the service. I rescheduled, and the technician (Jeff) came on time, was extremely professional and courteous, and did a thorough job of checking my unit for the summer cooling season. There was apparently a miscommunication with my first attempt to schedule an appointment, which was totally resolved. This is a company that will go out of its way to keep its customers happy and coming back.

Heating unit stopped working during extremely cold days. Brennan came out the next day and fixed the unit! Tech found piece of heating system (silver) tape in system causing system to shutdown. Tech was great; on-time, professional, and communicative.

We were concerned that the AC/Heater was old and needed to be replaced so we had Brennans come out and look at it. They took apart some of the system and id some cleaning and maintenance, but determined that we didn't need to replace the system. They were quick and very efficient. We were very pleased with the service and service providers.

I was promised the first call of the day and given a specific time the technician would be there, letting the phone rep know that I was on a tight schedule. When no one showed up, I called and was told the first call of the day had an "hour window" in which to arrive. I was never told this until the day of service when I notified the company that the technician had not come when promised. I had to leave, and will NOT reschedule with this company.

A timely response that brought much relief. Fortunately, it was only a fuse that needed repair. Great service, great person with a good sense of humor and professionalism.

Amazing! I got an IMMEDIATE response to my call for an air conditioning repair and I have never received that kind of service in this area. A wonderful gentleman showed up and did a thorough exam of the system, explained exactly what had happened and gave me my repair options. He also explained the available newer units since mine wouldn't hold up for the entire summer. I opted to install a new AC/furnace unit with humidifier, choosing the one that best met our needs. I received an estimate on-the-spot, with a significant discount thrown in for Angie's List, and they were able to schedule this major overhaul within a few days. Amazingly, I received a call and an itemized estimate two days later where they had found a way to save me even more money! Two extremely polite and clean-cut young men came in today, installed the system without any difficulties and actually left my house and floor cleaner than it was when they came in. I can't say enough good things about this company, who I contacted because my regular company wasn't returning my emergency calls. Needless to say, Brennan's has now inherited all of my business and my service contracts. Wow-I couldn't be more impressed!

Brennans has always done a great job for us. We usually try and use Gary. He is awesome. Always gives us honest and straightforward answers. Gary handles my parents home as well as mine and we always feel safe and secure. Our family has used Brennans for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Honest, affordable service.

They were very professional, on time, very neat, courteous, and helpful. They did not try to over sell; he came out and analyzed my needs, and informed me of what I needed. Great customer service.

They did an awesome job. It was a very clean job site. They were in and out in the time frame that they promised. They were very courteous. They were really good. They were also really good with applying all of the discounts. There was one very small issue I had and they came right back out and fixed it immediately.

It went alright. They had to come back out a few times and fix things, but now it seems to be working.

Brennans sent two technicians to install the water heater. They arrived on time. We received a call prior to their arrival letting us know they were on the way. The lead tech (Richard) explained the process he'd be using for both the removal and installation. He politely and professionally answered all of my questions. Prior to starting they covered the floors with tarps. They were in the home just over three hours. Once done they showed us how the new water heater operates, explained the installation and the coverage of the warranty for both parts and labor. Once they were satisfied that I was satisfied they presented the Bill to me. It was slightly less than the original proposal we accepted. They did a very nice job and were most professional.

Their prices are fair. They came back when we had a thermostat problem at no cost. They are always polite, prompt, and do exactly what they promise.

They were very professional and every time you have a problem somebody is there to help. I always feel so bad because our inside has a tiny crawl space so we always ask them to send somebody skinny.

The answering service was excellent when I called. Dave called back in about 15 minutes. I explained my problem and he came right over to help me even though it was 10 PM at night and very cold out. He could not fix my issue as the propane company had not delivered our gas and that was the ultimate problem. However he did do some cleaning of the furnace that was required and set the vents on the ducts to better disperse the air. He explained to me what to do once the propane was delivered so that the furnace would work instantly. I really appreciated his work. Thank you!

Service man, Mike, came same day I called. Since today is a holiday and I was home this was a real plus. Mike took a quick look at the leaking pump and showed me where the leak was actually coming from (I had thought a gasket, but he showed me it was inside the pump itself. ) He also showed me that the pump was failing and should be replaced. Gave me options in repairing/replacing pump with a new smaller one or a larger one similar to my 30 year old pump. He was able to replace the pump the same day and did so promptly. Since I had told him I had repaired some of the duct work myself previously, he said I could do the other work myself if I wanted, or he could do it. I chose to do it myself. He told me a part that I thought needed replacing did not. Mike told me the cost up front and also asked where I had heard of Brennan's, and told me there was a 10% Angie's list coupon I could print out from this site. He had estimated $200 to refill and purge the air from the system, and noted it took a long time to get all the air out to the top floor. When I told him there was a bleeder valve up on the top floor, and he was able to do the job in half the time, he reduced the labor by half. He was friendly, polite, and professional at all times, And his honestly saved me money. This was the second time I used Brennan's. Obviously I was satisfied the first time, too. Highly recommend Brennans.

We have used them twice now. They are very prompt and gave us a number of options and did not automatically push the most expensive option on us. There was one technician each time to work on the AC unit. Scheduling were very easy and very quick. Everything is still working fine.

I did think that the cost was a bit expensive and that they could have subtracted the cost of the first trip to diagnose the problem from the total bill. Other than that, I was completely satisfied with their service.
