I had used Apex to fix foundation issues a year ago.  They were superb - so good that I gave them work I had planned to use another contractor for.  They added steps, brick sidewalk, stone wall, and fixed crack in the wall.  All of the work was high quality.

While I thought Apex was knowledgeable, I felt like I was getting a hard-sell.  If I raised a concern about something, they were quick to concur and come up with a price to "fix" it.  Had we not sought additional quotes, I feel confident I would have liked their service.  I just believe I would have been taken a bit.  For instance, we ended up installing two French drains and sump pumps to address ground water issues.  When I asked about a drainage system for the outside of the house, Apex said, we should get one.  The company we ultimately used said that while an outdoor drainage system would certainly help to get rid of the water that pools on the outside of the house, it was not the cause and would not help with ground water issues in our basement, which was the primary issue we were trying to solve.  By comparison, the company we ultimately used sent an estimator who seemed like he was merely trying to help solve our problem and listened when we explained how we prioritized issues.  What Apex said was not wrong, just misleading.

Very well. Lou helped figure out that I was also absorbing water from my neighbor's adjoining property. So, with her permission, his team drilled weep holes through the wall that separates our back doors. That way, the water that backed up on her side would come under the wall and into my nEw drainage system rather than through her doorway and into the internal adjoing basement wall.

Showed up when scheduled, did work described in ontract, went well.  So far no repeat flooding  thank goodness

He was very helpful and informative about what might be needed for drainage in the front bed.  We did not proceed, but he was very helpful in laying out options.

Apex Waterproofing was awesome although we didn't end up using the company. They provided their opinion of the problem causing water to get into my basement. Although they offered to do the work, they indicated due to the simple nature of my problem that it would be better/cheaper to get a handy man to resolve my issue. I felt that the company was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Hopefully, I won't have to use them in the future, but if I ever have a water issue, they will certainly be among the first I call. Thank you!

I believe service was performed, but I never received a written report or an estimate for the vapor barrier work, despite several email requests for it.

I really appreciated receiving such a detailed, specific proposal for the work -- and I had the confidence as a repeat customer that this job would be done well -- and it was.   Lou's crew did a meticulous job and again left the site immaculate after doing the work.   I'm delighted with the end result -- my 30 year old home looks like new.  I would definitely recommend Apex.

This was a positive experience from start to finish.  Lou took the time to explain the reason for the problem and the way the solution would take care of it.  The crew showed up on time every day, and performed the job in a skilled and professional manner.  All of my questions during the process were answered promptly and professionally.  The job was finished when promised, and the crew left my home immaculate.  I would not hesitate to give Apex Waterproofing the highest recommendation.

Mr. Payton was very informative, thorough and friendly.  He arrived on time.  He took his time with me and addressed all my questions.  He suggested an alternate sump pump arrangement with a backup given that I had already had two flooding incidents; one was when the float switch failed; a second time when the electricity was off for almost two days and therefore not allowing the pump to engage.  He proposed a revised sump arrangement primarily to address the no-electricity scenario and in view of the fact that after having an egress window added, the intent is to finish the basement.
I was provided a detailed written quote along with references within two days of his visit with all the necessary details.  While I had every intention to go through with the final work based on the proposal, I had to address other issues that came up first, which placed this temporarily on the back burner.  I have every intention of contact Apex Waterproofing in the near future and have them proceed with the work subject to a new estimate, given that their estimate was good for 7 days.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.

It went very well and we were very happy with the service.  He was on time and came in on estimate. There were no surprises.  It was a big and messy job, but he did a great job cleaning up when he was done.

Were excellent to work with. Fixed it right. Reasonably priced.. Final County Inspection was Aug 22,2014

They did not find anything but they didn’t really do anything either. He gave a very surface look at it.

Lou Payton came out to est damage and plan to fix it.  Crew came in and removed approx 3 feet by 20 feet of concrete floor, put in new drainage system to include a new sump pump.  Crew was outstanding, answered questions, and most importantly worked continually until job was done.  Upon completing the waterproofing part of the job ab second crew came in and rebuilt the interior wall, priming it and painting it. The results were much better than was expected.  Would recommend them to anyone, you could do better and could absolutely do worse. Also spoke spoke with their office manger Ashley Elliott on several occasions, very nice knowledgeable individual, great customer service skills.

They did their job and told me what was needed but I did not use them for any other work other than the inspection. They did their job and I don’t have any complaints with them. I felt they did not understand what I was asking for and had to call a structural engineer to come out. They sent one person out to look over job.
