We are a multi-generational family business that provides a full-service solution for all of your automotive and repair needs; ranging from tire replacement and inspections, to maintenance packages. Our story begins in 1984, when John F. Hogan Jr opened our first store in Leesburg, VA. John knew the importance of building relationships with partners and customers alike. He leveraged his history with Goodyear to establish Hogan & Sons as a direct dealer for Goodyear. Today, we remain one of the select few direct dealers in the country, and have expanded our geographical footprint, serving the Northern Virginia area with over 8 locations. Although our business has grown, we still value the relationships that we have developed over the 30 years we have been in business. We pride ourselves on providing a personalized relationship, delivering high-quality workmanship and a customer centric-approach that develops a rapport between our team of professionals and your family.

The vehicle was first brought in for bad shaking in then front end in early July 2014. After several months, costly and unnecessary repairs, numerous 'faulty axles', being told that they were not able to repair the vehicle (after spending over 2000), and a couple of potentially deadly trips to Pohanka Acura with unsecured axles we were tired of being treated as though we were the issue and we did not know how much money we spent on the issue... We can obviously show proof of payments.
Long story short, before the issue was final repaired correctly we had it in for repairs on a Saturday. Again we were told that the axles were not the problem and that they could not do anything else and we needed to take the car to the dealer. Monday morning, my husband drove the car into work and it was shaking so bad on the ride that he took the car to Pohanka. At Pohanka, they put the car on the lift and showed my husband that one of the axles was either installed incorrectly or hit with a hammer and it was missing a cotter pin so it was not secured to the vehicle!
He secured it in place without charging us a dime, and told us that we could have had the issue repaired there months ago for less than what we had paid to date (including the unnecessary rear struts and tires) with Acura parts, not aftermarket. Once we informed Hogan of their failure to install the cotter pin putting my husband's life in danger and everything else, the car was finally repaired.
Not only did the misdiagnose the vehicle, they did not test drive it to confirm that the issue was repaired. When they did test drive it, we found food in the vehicle that we definitely did not leave there including trash (a corn dog stick). At the end, the manager/service advisor was very rude and wanted to charge another $1000 + for Acura axles.
As far as I can tell the axles are fixed but I will never take my car there again.
