Company is horrible to work with, lacks communication with the customer, is very disorganized, and company makes promises it does not keep.



Conducted a walk through prior to project start date. At that time, didn't go through what would exactly be done, did not mention they needed anything at our house, but did answer our questions. The first question was extra bricks, what would be done with them. We were told that the bricks were ours.



When I say they lack communication, was disappointed when our project start date was pushed back a whole week with only two days of rain. They didn't show up on date the project was to start, nor did they call. Didn't show up the next day, had to call to find out what was going on. We were told they would show up the next day and that they should have called us to inform of the changed start date. Company could not tell us in the walk through they needed a hose, they took the hose from the front and moved it into the backyard. In that process they broke the hose connector. All they had to do was ask for a hose. Ordered mulch for delivery on a Friday, had to call Friday afternoon to see where it was, told it would be the next day. Workers broke the latch on my fence gate, but couldn't even tell me. Company could not even call or email to say they were complete with the project or corrections to the work I requested was completed.

Over the years, I have had several respectable landscapers work on my yard; however, in my assessment, Williams Landscape and Design rates a "D." Their planning concepts on paper were adequate, but during the actual landscaping project, they were very unorganized, and muddled. They were unprofessional and had difficulty delivering on what they promised. The quality of their workmanship was marginal at best. The so-called top soil they provided for my lawn had an abundance of broken glass in it. This
obvious tactic to enhance their profit margin was a reckless display of untrustworthiness. Frankly, I feel like I was swindled by Williams landscape and design. I would not use them again.

We called in four landscapers to address our situation and received quotes from all four. Williams was the only one to provide a schematic layout and addressed all our concerns. We worked together to make some adjustments to meet our budget. We wanted a professional job and felt that Williams could deliver. During the installation of the new layout we worked closely with the onsite crew who made every effort to assure our satisfaction. While Williams was not the lowest proposed cost to us we feel we received the most value for the work that was accomplished.

The owner of the company was very responsive and apologetic for the delays that provoked my reaching out to Angie's List. Thank You Angie's List! As a small business owner myself, I understand the pressures under which owners live and appreciated Mr. Williams' attention to my issue, amid these pressures.

Williams Landscape was recommended to us by some friends who live in our neighborhood. We had a drainage problem in the backyard of our home and our friend, a civil engineer, had come out and assessed the situation and recommended Aaron Williams and company. Our friend told us where he thought the French drain should go. Aaron Williams came out and did an assessment of the drainage problem and came up with the exact same diagnosis as our civil engineer friend. His price for the French drain was less than we expected (about $1200) and we ended up contracting with his company to install a sprinkler system and sod in the backyard as well (about $2200.) Soon after the French drain and sod were installed, Hurricane Irene rolled through. My husband and I stood at a second floor window and watched the water disappear into an invisible line in the yard, "daylight" on the side of the house and flow down the side of our lot to the front drainage culvert as opposed to pooling in the backyard. Aaron and his company did a great job. We are in the process of getting estimates from Williams Landscape to irrigate and sod the front lawn. Highly recommend this company for drainage problems as well as general landscape needs.

They offer fair prices and they do what they are told to do. They have also worked for my clients for putting pavers, outdoor landscape, outdoor still and outdoor door areas. They have very clean products and people are courteous. Their prices are reasonable. They do just beautiful and very nice work. They are very responsive.
