"Thank you for the feedback. I spoke to the specialist who visited your home back in June. He stated that upon completing the inspection, he recommended a new roof and that the sealing around the collars and flashing that was done would not do much to extend the life of the roof. There are damaged/missing ridge cap shingles, the chimney needs to be reflashed and the pipe collars need to be replaced. He offered a proposal to repair these items and for replacement of the entire roof. We would be glad to credit the $167.00 toward your new roof when you decide to get the roof replaced. After we encountered a leak in our kitchen that I was unable to track to its source, we purchased the $167 "Big Deal" Roof Maintenance Package hoping that would help in identifying/resolving the problem.
The representative from Pyramid Roofing (Craig) arrived on right on time and immediately set to work. Overall, he spent nearly an hour on the roof, checking and correcting errant nails and shingles, filling in holes left by the builder (wish I had known that several years ago!) that had seriously compromised the integrity of the roof, and conducting an exhaustive survey. He quickly located the source of the leak (worn vent collars) and applied sealant to the affected sites -- which given the subsequent rains this weekend, has ensured no further leaks into the kitchen while we are awaiting repair to the ceiling.
After addressing the most emergent and immediate problems and correcting those issues that he could, Craig presented me with a comprehensive inspection report and provided a detaled estimate for the needed repair, which is sorely needed.
Overall, this was an excellent service experience. I look forward to having the repairs performed by this provider!

We were very impressed with how thorough and professional he was and how reasonable the estimate was so we signed up to have the roof replaced. The roof replacement was scheduled quickly and the job was done in one day. The crew showed up on time and did a truly outstanding job of removing the old roof and installing the new roof. We were very impressed with the professionalism from beginning to job completion.

Just to clarify a few points, things may have seemed worse than they really were. We first met with you and performed the Angie's List "Big Deal" 17 pt inspection on March 21st. At that time our representative made notes of items on your roof that you should consider for repair. He gave you several choices and options. On April 13th you gave us the go ahead to proceed on some of the suggested options. The work you authorized was for $879. At that time we did mention to you that we were approximately three(3) weeks backed out from doing the work. (* After a round of heavy storms we work 7 days per week to try to get to homeowners as quickly as possible. We do understand your concerns in a time such as this. We try our best.) The work was completed twenty(20) days upon your authorization. (Less than 3 weeks). We are glad we were able to solve your leak issue and sorry you had to wait longer than you had hoped for. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you feel like we did not hold up to our end of our agreement we will cheerfully refund your money. We do not want hard feelings or an unhappy client.
