Well. Identified the problem and performed the the repair within 24 hrs.

He was a great guy, great work and I would recommend him to someone else.

I have twice called this plumber and left messages about work needed. No calls returned.

He showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and got our approval to order the required part. The work was done efficiently and on time.

The removal of the old unit was half of one day. Installation was about a day and a half, as Tim Cognetti was working alone most of the time. His son helped when he was available. That wasn't a problem as the temperature was cool and there was no need to rush the job. After the installation was completed, he explained all the settings of the units and thermostat controller. The unit worked very well and seemed to run less than the original unit to keep the house cool. Testing the gas heat unit went well. All the windows were opened as there is an initial smell on startup He noted an alarm system may sound during this time because of the small amount of smoke. I noted some heat oder, but not a significant amount and wasn't a problem.
I compared his total price with other installers and Tim seemed about 20% less than a competitor with an equivalent brand. Others were double the price, but had many extras included in their price.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend him for maintenance and replacement. Tim is also a plumber and I have used him for that as well.

I like him very much. His name is Tim. I have used him off and on since we moved here which was 13 years ago. It's a long time experience with him and I have been very pleased. He charged me $191.00 yesterday, but he specifically charges $90.00 an hour. I don't think he is as expensive as I thought he was. He was recommended to us by the realtor when we bought the house. He has always responded very quickly and done the work neatly. He has not charged us as much as the other plumber did when we lost track of him for some time. The numbers I had didn't work anymore and I thought he had moved so I didn't have him for a while. I have never been disappointed in his work. We did have someone else temporarily because we have a renter in the basement and we are gone sometimes 6 months at a time. I wanted a name for our renter to call if he needed something. I had a plumber that did a couple of things that were not according to code. Another time when we had gone and there was a leak underneath an upstairs bathroom sink, the renter we had at the time heard the drip on my kitchen floor and alerted our neighbor. They called a local plumber and his bill for fixing the leak under the sink was over $300.00, although it was a Sunday. I haven't had that experience with Mr. Cognetti at all. He has always been very fair and he has been good.
