Description of Work: This a very good experience. The initial meeting and estimate were concise and accurate. The installers arrived on time and completed the work ahead of the estimated completion time. While it has only been a couple of months, no issues with the installation or windows this far.

Description of Work: They installed windows. We had some windows that were showing some age. We had them give us some new windows.

Description of Work: I hired Window World due to their fair prices and reputation. The sales person was very good at demonstrating the window and showing its features. There was approx. 1-1/2 month wait from signing the contract until the windows arrived. On installation day, a 5-member crew showed up and efficiently replaced the windows. The tear-out of the old windows was very quick and installation of the new windows also occurred very quickly with six screws used per window to secure it in place. Caulking and trimming also occurred very quickly. What I didn't like was that there was some wood rot in the lower corners of some of our window frames that could only be noticed when the old windows were removed. The crew showed no interest in trying to repair (or replace) some of the rotted wood. Their focus seemed to be to replace the windows as quickly as possible since the new window, caulking, and trim work would hide the rotted wood in the corners. Also, we had two side-by-side windows in the kitchen replaced with a single larger window. Consequently, the center wooden frame had to be removed to install the single new window. The crew cut out the center wooden frame and left a gap in the wood where the old wood was taken out and were ready to install the window, when I complained that there was too much of a gap and asked them to perform some woodwork to fix the gap. I know this slowed them down, but I felt that it was important. The resulting woodwork repairs didn't look good. They did fill the gap in with spray foam filler at my request, but I wasn't impressed with their woodwork repairs. Everything else was great and the trim looked very good. My observation was that there was little interest in fixing any wood rot or framing issues in effort to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Window installation occurred so quickly that there wasn't much time to pause and fix any wood frame issues. In summary, I was pleased with the windows and final look of the windows, but was not as pleased with their lack of concern to repair any wood rot or wood frame issues since that would all be hidden by the new window when the new window was installed.

Description of Work: Replace bedroom windows

Description of Work: They removed and replaced all siding. They were very good. The house looks great and the new insulation and quietness is great. They framed all the windows and outlets. It gives the house a real finished look.

Description of Work: Very professional: installers arrived on time, cleaned up left NO mess, helpful, responsive. Quality seems adequate, probably would have to give it a few months to see if there are any problems. The windows do look great. We definitely would use them again.
