Quality Stone Concepts

Contacted Quality Stone Concepts and was met with a warm reception over the phone from Ryan.  He had his estimator, Rob(bie)  measure, give me a great estimate, (better than 3 other places I contacted) and set the date for the install.  Everything went smoothly.  He also advised that their sub-contractor would call me for an estimate on the demolition required, before the installation. (That is a separate bill paid directly to the sub-contractor).
In dealing with Quality Stone Concept, everyone was Top Notch, friendly and personable, from Ryan and Tony (part Owners), to Rob(bie) (estimator) to Dan, the Production Manager (wonderful job on assisting with the slab), to Mark and Brandon, (Installers- great job on seams and sink placement) to Ray and the other Fabricator, and the Office Manager.
I visited their location on several occasions to ensure that every detail was as I wanted, (which is why I know everyone's name) and they met every request with no problem. I am not the easiest to please, but I am very pleased with their workmanship and the quality of the product, and would recommend them highly.
However, there is a dim light in this tale.  When using Quality Stone Concepts, I suggest you evaluate if you want to hear . . . . 
1)  "I am sorry, been without a phone for a few days".2) "Sorry, I didn't make it yesterday, just got the part and I have been sick . . . ."3)  "Been fighting traffic, and someone just hit me from behind . . . will not be able to make it"4)  "Sorry, been away for a few days, will let you know by lunch . . . . "5) " I don't know what happened to your piece . . . . .sorry about the delay . . . . ."
Yada, Yada, Yada . . .  . . 
These are examples of the text messages received when dealing with the sub-contractor Quality Stone Concepts uses for cabinet installs and demolition/plumbing for preparation for granite installation. He did my demolition and stove/plumbing installation.  He was friendly and personable and did a good job, when I could get him there, but his dependability might make you pull your hair out!
From the initial contact, (which prompted by first visit to their location - when I DID NOT receive the promised first call from the sub-contractor) to the last contact, I played a waiting game.  I am still waiting for him to complete a minor part of the job, (which I know will happen when pigs fly) so I ended up doing what I should have done in the first place, which might have saved me a few bucks and grey hairs  . . . contacted someone else!  
If not for the great job Quality Stone Concepts did otherwise, I would subtract from the ratings for their use of this sub-contractor. But I realize it was my choice to use him, and they cannot be held accountable for his uh, "professionalism".  I would suggest however, if you want to experience the full positive customer service and quality that Quality Stone Concepts advertises, without any hiccups, you consider their "turn-key" service thoroughly.
However, for areas under their control, they receive my vote!
