First Class!  JT was right on time for the estimate.  He actually arrived a few minutes prior to my appointment window.  Before we got in to any particulars, he told me that he noticed my windows open and that he wasn't able to schedule an install until early July.  With him being so up front, our conversation could have been over b/c I obviously need something sooner than that... but he stayed, and discussed options for me to consider when talking with other companies.  He even went so far as to give me a brochure on what his recommendation on equipment would be.  Wow.  You don't often meet people like that. 
So, even though we're not doing business together this time, his character and integrity warrants a great review.  I will definitely keep JT high on my list for future work and referrals!

It was December and cold outside and my Igniter went out on my furnace but I did not know that at the time so I called them up and he walked me through troubleshooting the problem over the phone then guided me step by step to correct the issue. Excellent!
They went out of their way to help me out to get heat back in my house. Very thankfull i called them.

I found late in the evening on the 13th that I had no heat.  It was very late, 36 degrees outside, and 54 in the house.  I asked if someone could come first thing in the morning and the service that answers after hours took my information and said I would receive a call in the morning.  I received a call shortly after 7:00 am and arranged a visit 2nd on their schedule for the day, around 10:00am.  I received a call from Mike who was running ahead of schedule and gladly greeted him at the door at about 9:20am.  
The guys checked out the furnace and explained everything to me that they were doing, provided advice and replaced that part that was causing the furnace not to work.  Since my system is quite old at 22 years, he called my attention to a a couple of key parts  that looked or sounded bad, and advised that we start planning on a getting new system.  I appreciated the great service and I am requesting an estimate for a new system from JT Mechanical Co.

Installation went smoothly they installed the valve for water for humidifier on the cold water line, mounted the humidifier on the return side of the furnace, installed the Honeywell thermostat, and installed the Air Guard.   They wired the humidifier to the furnace so that it comes on when the furnace comes on, wired the thermostat with to the 24v source, and wired the Air Guard using the 24v source.   There was a little problem getting the humidifier to function but when they left at 2:00pm it was working.  I left and returned at 6:00pm and the house was at 59 degrees and I couldn't get the heater to kick in.   I called Jeff (JT Mechanical) and he gave me Mike's (installers) phone number and Mike came back out and spent another two hours researching the problem.    Mike noticed that the temperature on the thermostat would jump two degrees when the heater would initialized.  He checked all the voltages and conferred with Honeywell and was told that it probably wasn't the thermostat.   In the end Mike replaced the Honeywell thermostat base and that was the problem.    I can't say enough about the service since they fixed the problem right away on a very cold night.   I have been running the unit for about a week and it works great.  The temp on the thermostat seems to be a little high (2 degrees) but Mike says that can be adjusted.

Fixed the problem for a reasonable price, and gave me some useful advice too.

My first contact with JT Mechanical was on January 28th 2013, when my new heater, unfortunately I didnt have Angies list at the time ( not installed by JT Mechanical) went out. I went to Angies list to find a service company to repair. It was a Saturday and none of the companies I called would/or could come out for the service. It was very cold that weekend, I called JT Mechanical (owner Jeff) came out immediately and a replacemnt part (gas valve) was needed. He was able to get the unit running, ordered the part and insisted I not pay him for his services until his return the next week. I again needed him this summer when our air conditioner went out, again he arrived that day (after working hours) and did the fix for us. He mentioned our air conditioners were old and we might think to replace them. I then mentioned our upstairs heater had gone out so that would need replacing also.Our home is over 25 years old, so as you know these things happen at about this point. He mentioned a special coming up in September time frame. He came out and made his recommendations for replacement of 2 air conditioners and one heater. He worked around our schedule and arrived on Monday evening to sign the paperwork, so they could begin work the next day. He and his crew (4) showed up at 8:15 on the dot (which was the time he gave me) they put on their booties and got straight to work. Jeff's son Michael is wonderful to work with, they did many extra items for us at no charge. They relocated 2 gas lines, one in our attic and the other in the garage. Carrier sent the wrong unit, which was not discovered until after the install (much to our benefit) and because the unit had already been welded we were able to keep the upgraded unit. This unit required a special thermostat, which Jeff purchased and they installed also at no charge. The crew was very clean, respectful, clean cut,  put down tarps, took all debris away. I would NOT hesitate to call again or refer them to any and all my family and friends!! I feel very fortunate to have found someone that truely deserves a 5 star rating! Very happy customer.

They are wonderful. They are fantastic. We love them. They know more about our house than we do because they know the history of things that have happened in the past before we were even living here. I always recommend them. They are awesome. We love them. They have been here and caught things that have been a problem, so I feel like it is worth the money.

I called the week of June 20th requesting a quote to replace the furnace and air conditioner for the upstairs of our two zone system. An appointment was made for  Wednesday, June 29th. I received a call from a young lady on Thursday or Friday asking if I could change the date to Tuesday the 28th. I agreed to the change. A gentleman came out and spent quite a bit of time looking over the second floor and the existing equipment and was apparently doing an assessment to see what size equipment we would need. He said he would email me a quote in a day or two. Two weeks later, Tuesday June 11th, I contacted JT Mechanical again to see why we had not yet received a quote. The young lady said she didn't know but would have the gentleman call me that evening. I never heard back from either of them.

our downstairs gas furnace failed.  After I did everything that I could do troubleshooting (breakers, reset switch) I called JT Mechanical from Angie's List.  They were prompt, showed up in a clean well marked service van, were easily identified as JTM employees.  They diagnosed the problem as a failed igniter and replaced it very quickly.  They were very careful not to track in or make a mess and they cleaned up their work area when the job was completed.

I cleaned the filter and furnace. I scheduled a date for them to come out and they have yet to come. He was supposed to come the next day and instead hi secretary called and told me he wouldn't make it because he was in somone's attic and then told me that if I wanted I could get someone else. I have called 6 times and still no one has showed up. I've hung in there cause the last time they came they did great work. The next day I heard nothing. The day after when he didn't show up the secretary told me that he went out to take a bid. I am very unhappy that they are not responding to my request. I am moving on and giving up on this company. I will find someone else. I think it's very rude how I've been handled.
I regret that I gave them the praise I gave the last time they came out since it was his actual son. This is the owner who I am having all these issues with.

Excellent. Came to the house at night to discuss problem and give us estimate. Came on exact date and time as scheduled and finished the job in one day. Owner of company was there during most of the work and all technicians were very professional and polite. My wife was home during installation and she thought the technicians were great. Were so happy with the job they did, we are having them come out to service our second unit. I very very highly recommend them for the job. If I never use AngiesList again, using them this one time was worth it.

We received other estimates and found his estimates to be the most reasonable, he was professional and wasn't pushy at all for a sale. I interviewed three other companies, but found JT Mechanical on Angie's List and glad I picked them.

I've known Jeff. Ever since we moved here, he's done our air conditioning and heating. It is so rare to say you've been with somebody for like 17 years or more but we have been. He's extremely honest and that's saying something when you're looking for an air conditioning repairman or mechanic. It's Jeff's company. It's him and his son. He's hired two new young people. He does what he says he's going to do. His work is perfect. He's very fair and reasonable.

Well, I initially called JT Mechanical to have routine maintenance done on very old and low quality units.  I was having problems with rusty water draining from my heat pump upstairs.  When I called in the morning and spoke to Jeff, the owner, I was very surprised when he said he could have someone out there that afternoon.  Mike arrived, the owner's son along with an assistant and unclogged the drain in the heat pump upstairs and did a routine servicing/inspection.  They did a phenomenal job in cleaning the A/C unit on the outside as well.  I must admit that I am very meticulous and they didn't miss a thing.  They pay attention to detail and do it right, trust me.  They then moved on to the gas pack, where I didn't have a problem, so I thought.  After getting inside the unit, Mike discovered that I had a cracked heat exchanger.  I just had this replaced a little over a year ago.  The unit is 12 years old and I now know that two heat exchangers in such a short time is not common.  Well, instead of just making an easy 1000.00 to replace the heat exchanger like the first company I had replace it did, Mike actually looked into the root cause of the problem and discovered that the unit was lacking adequate return air and this was causing the premature cracking of the heat exchangers.  I was given the option of replacing the heat exchanger again and addressing the return air issue or to stop dumping money into units already at the end of their life.  I opted to get an estimate on replacing both systems.  What really impressed me is that Jeff asked Mike to take his next service call so that Jeff could come out and discuss options with me.  He explained every option and didn't just try and sell me the most expensive units.  He recommended what he thought was best.  Here is what sold me on this company.  They could have very easily came in and simply installed three new pieces of equipment and called it a day.  Jeff walked through my home with me and examined the supply vents and discussed the problem areas in my home and his son had inspected the ducting earlier.  He even noticed that my bedroom doors were cut too close to the floor and were not allowing enough return air since I keep them closed all the time.  I have a 2600 square foot home and there were only two returns.  I know now that it wasn't enough.  In summary, Jeff's first priority was to address the root cause of my problems then to install high quality equipment, more on that later.  So you know, I called 5 other HVAC companies and what I got along with attitude was I can't get out there for at least a week.  Not good service if you ask me.  Jeff and his team on the other hand exceeded my expectations.  Everyone at the company is very polite, professional, honest and courteous.  After deciding on system replacement, Jeff was able to secure the equipment and set me up for installation the following Monday.  I have owned several homes but have never had to replace systems so I didn't know what to expect.  Jeff explained everything in detail.  His son Mike and Stewart arrived bright and early Monday morning to begin.  Every day they were on time, very professional, cleaned up after themselves and did EXCEPTIONAL WORK!  Again, I am very meticulous and I could not find anything that I would have done better.  I had new Carrier equipment installed consisting of a Gas Pack, Heat Pump and A/C unit including the addition of two returns and one supply to address the root causes of the problems with my previous systems.  If you could see pictures of the shroud they did that goes from the gas pack to the house, you will see what I am saying when I tell you they pay attention to detail and do things right the first time.  I did extensive research before deciding on Carrier and one thing I did read is that installation is a major factor in the proper operation and effectiveness of you units.  In knowing that, your only choice should be JT Mechanical.  The installation was top notch and exceeded all my expectations.  Quality work down to the last detail.  I could go on for hours but I am sure you are tired of reading already!  Oh, one last thing...there is another brand of equipment out there that advertises it's hard to stop.  Here is some food for thought....they never got started with me because the price was 5,000 higher than what I paid and in my opinion, Carrier is much better.  Just ask Jeff why he sells Carrier, I did.  These unit look great and are sooooo quiet!  Our home has never felt more comfortable and has never kept such consistent temperatures throughout.  JT Mechanical has earned customers for life.  If there is any doubt on which company you should go with, look no further and choose JT Mechanical.  Their logo couldn't be more true.  You will receive honest and professional service from this family owned business.  Jeff, Mike, thank you again for an awesome experience and please pass on my thank s to Provider was wonderful and honest.  I will be using him again for my furnace. 

Took advantage of coupon on Angies list for $29 service call,  called in afternoon and Jeff (owner) came out himself same day.  Recognized extent of repair and advised we not start that day, as it was after 4 pm on a Friday afternoon.  We spoke over the weekend and decided the best way to go with the repair.  Jeff was back with one of his people early Monday morning, he talked him through the nitty gritty details and the repair/install was accomplished perfectly.  He absolutely is my "go to guy" from now on!

I can't say enough positive things about JT Mechanical even though I did not use their services.

Called Jeff on Sunday about water leak in Laundry room which was secured with faucet off but with three kids the laundry can get nuts. Came out the next day to see what needed to be done and scheduled work the first thing Tues am.  Technician replaced the water valve and due to configuration (old house) had to go back and get another proper fitting valve.  Still finished up before noon and works great. Added the water hammer valves and everything works and looks great.   This was our second time with JT as we previously had them replace outside faucets and main water valve in garage.  He has become our go to guy for plumbing and would easily recommend to friends. Fair price and great work.  
Hopefully we wont need your services too soon, Jeff, but when we do, we will be calling you.  :)

I cannot express how pleased we were with JT Mechanical. Our old unit was barely functioning, and Jeff and his son Michael helped us get through the hot summer until we could replace it in October. They are professional and honest. Our new unit is amazing! I would never use anyone else!!!!

I called them around 8 am and they said they would be at my house between 9:15 and 9:30. The doorbell rang at 9:22...can't get anymore punctual than that! :)
They troubleshot my gas furnace, crawled under the house to check the duct work, checked all the regulators on my gas appliances, and then left and tried to get parts. They could not find the part they needed - it is actually even hard to find on the internet...I looked! :)
They got my system running, placed an order for the part I need, and will return as soon as they get the part in.
They were extremely polite, professional, and caring. They put on "booties" over their shoes to protect my floors and carpets when they came inside.
I will call them from now on. They have a loyal customer! I highly recommend them.

they came when I called gave me an accurate estimate. they were efficient, knowledgeable, and on time when it was cold and raining. Overall experience was quicker and much better than expected.

While replacing a defective thermostat, both outside units were also inspected, found to need servicing, due to roots growing up into the units. A service call was set up and the maintenance was performed promptly, and he even went out and got wasp spray to take care of a wasps nest he found in the attic! Jeff and his crew are thorough, responsive and very trustworthy.
