Professional personnel to the max. The water mitigation team was exceptional in their response and duties. They were at my home one hour from the time I talked with Nicole about my situation. Dehumidifiers going 24/7 for 96 hours and then fans for five days. And they kept the house amazingly clean during its operations. I am totally impressed by the teams' skills and courtesies. Then Jacob, the assessor of how much the costs would come to for insurance purposes has so much experience in the industry from actually laying tile down early in his career, to knowing the inside and outs of the industry. I totally trust his judgement and dedication to ensuring the client doesn't get shortchanged by the insurance company. He's a fighter and unbelievable pro at his work. Emergency Restoration Services is by far the best professionals I've had the distinct pleasure of being its client. I highly recommend for any future misfortunes one might encounter. We reached out to ERS after a traumatizing house fire. They were amazingly professional, caring, prompt, and knowledgeable in every aspect of helping us with demolition to rebuild. Badly. Started out with their rep Ryan coming for an emergency estimate Sep 2018 - the price was lower than competitors and they could start within a week. After being at our house & working a whole day, the Owner Chad shows up and immediately DOUBLES the price from the estimate - it seems Ryan didn't actually look at anything (this is otherwise known as the 'Bait-and-Switch'). Not much choice - they'd already started work & Chad offered generously to lower the price a bit. They started in the crawlspace with mold remediation & got that done well. They started the floor demolition for the kitchen and sealed it off against dust and entry, but after a few days they didn't bother to show or even call to let me know they weren't coming. Sometimes, they'd just show up, half the time late. I bean calling the receptionist, who'd let me know if they were coming or not that day, but there was no schedule otherwise. No one watching to see what kind of work they were doing - no Project Manager or Foreman - which became apparent after they took down the dust barrier. They removed SOME floor, but for some reason left OTHER water damaged floor that they were supposed to remove - it literally felt like walking on packaging bubbles! Owner Chad apologized when I finally got ahold of him for 'Poor Communication'. It gets worse. Delays, poor workmanship, didn't clean up after themselves, and THREE complaints about not tearing up enough floors (which required them to do the same job THREE times!). Two independent insurance adjusters (dispatched by my insurance because they didn't understand how bad the contractor actually was) as well as ERS employees sent to repair poor work mentioned how poor the job was. I would have fired the company but ERS was so far into the project however I couldn't afford to pay them and another company to do the same job, so I continued to beg them to complete the job correctly. Eventually, after they replaced sub-flooring so poorly they left a full inch gap between the floor and one wall, I called to complain and fired Chad. He became rude, accusing ME of causing issues, and stated he would do no more work for me. They DID come to fix the gap and yet another issue after I informed them I had evidence of poor workmanship and threatened to report them. Billing was an issue as well, especially after Chad lied about items submitted to insurance, tried to overbill me for multiple items, & bill me for work not done. He revised the bill multiple times upon my complaints, always INCREASING the bill by adding more items or charging more for work. I will NEVER use them again and would recommend Barney Fife or the Three Stooges over ERS.

Every person was professional and cordial. The estimator was thorough and explained everything well. The process took three days: one to remove the moldy part of the wall and dry the interior of the wall and carpet, then after letting it dry over the weekend, another came in to plaster, and then the next day another came in to paint and replace the vent and wood trim. He left my place spotless, vacuumed the whole room, and even took the initiative to tighten a screw on my screen door. I highly recommend this company. And if I ever need restoration services again I would call on them. Also, when I pointed out that they didn't need to remove the carpet and pad as estimated, they took the initiative to remove that expense from the invoice without my having to ask for it.

They are not a general contractor so had to hire another service for restoration. In process some things not related to the damage were destroyed. They compensated but it should not have occurred

They seemed to do a pretty good job from what I can tell. We appreciated them because they gave us the cost. The bare minimum cost was just getting out the mold and keeping it from hopefully coming back with paint and everything. Then they also showed us what we could do if we wanted to put a new wall in or just leave it with just the concrete. Whereas, I think, most people would try to up-sell you. I think it was pretty good and as far as I know I think they did a pretty good job. I'm not an expert in that department, but it looks like they did a good job. It hasn't come back. They cleaned up their work pretty well, they didn't leave anything behind. We appreciated them anyway. The reason that we picked them was because they did give us, what we thought, was the cut and dry so we weren't getting the up-sell to some really expensive wall that they wanted to put back in over the top of it and yet they still also seemed to do a really goo job. They didn't do a cheap job. They were really thorough.

Aaron at ERS was amazing. We went through a lot of stress during this issue. He was the first person to step and run with it. He took the home owners insurance appraisers information and worked directly with him so we did not have to play middle man. He made it a very smooth process. They first dried everything and the team that set all of that up was extremely professional and very friendly. Then they did the repair and it looks better than it did before this happened. They made this a very positive experience. We are very grateful!

We're extremely happy with the work performed by emergency restoration services for us. All were prompt, friendly and professional In 2015 hole in our neighbor's roof (we own a townhouse) listening water to our house. They came out and perform mold and water damage remediation however they could not complete the work until our neighbor fix the roof which was several months later. Emergency restoration services was very understanding of that, left us one of their fans that we could use because every time water would come in. This went on for two or three months before we were able to complete the work. ERS took no issue with this odd situation and helped us. We highly recommend them

I had significant water intrusion into my garage and a bathroom, which is underneath my kitchen, during the tropical storm last fall. There had also been some previous water damage as well. I used Angie's list deal to get mold testing done. Aaron showed up at the scheduled time and completed the testing. In a few days, he sent me the results of the testing and a quote on remediation. Fortunately the mold was minor,, however the damage was still significant so I contracted to fix the damage. The work took about three days. They used vapor barrier and fans to keep the air contained in the garage as they removed the drywall and insulation, treated the mold that they found. They replaced the insulation and put up new drywall using quality materials. Overall, the work went smooth. The workers were timely, professional and took good care of my home.

Fantastic contractors to work with. They provided a detailed scope of work for the areas of the house that had water damage, timely removal and repair of the spaces, and great recommendations for other contractors they have worked with for areas that needed repair they did not cover. We will definitely use them again if we need any restoration services.

The whole process was so easy. We live in an old home and wanted to check for mold. I was able to set up an appointment for that week, and they honored the Angie's List price. Aaron looked around my home and crawlspace, and performed a few tests. It was a relief to find that we have no mold issues.

They were really great! I had a plumber replace the pipe. The guy was prompt, didn’t try to gauge me. He did the job just like he said he was going to do. He didn’t take forever, I was so happy with the result. He was very nice, when he quoted me the price that my plumber said it was worth, I hired him. Other quotes from other companies were for $20,000 & $4,500. I was happy, it was as advertised and the price was right. The work turned out really great. They did a good job. I kept their card. Was exceptionally good! I would recommended them!
