I bought a coupon through Angie's List that provided 3 movers for 2 hours for $250. I rented a U-Haul for the transportation. The movers showed up on time and went right to work. They wrapped my bigger pieces of furniture in plastic to protect them and brought their own furniture blankets and equipment. They took their time to make sure nothing got bumped or scrapped. Everything was loaded in just under an hour. They followed me to my storage unit and unloaded everything and they were completely done in 1 1/2 hours. They were very friendly and professional and paid attention to what they were doing.
Oh, leading up to the move, I was contacted by the company (Jessie I believe) to schedule my move time and again the day before (On Sunday) to make we were still on schedule. If you hire them for labor only, they provide blankets, plastic wrap etc.
Make sure your address is right. My mailing address for Angie's List is different than the residential address.
