We liked the Bath Planet staff we dealt with - friendly, professional, on time, and true to their promises. Employees of Chester Glass, who Bath Planet contracted to install the shower stall door, were the same.

They have an excellent product and the installer we had was great.

There were a few hiccups with scheduling but I always received a phone call to alert me if there would be a delay. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and professional. From the salesman (Jeff) to the supervisor (Mike) to the installer (Mel) ... they all made this experience painless. I love my new bathrooms and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Other than some communication glitches with the scheduling, the project was done professionally, and I am very happy with the work that was done. Every one I spoke with was very nice, and the individuals performing the work were also professional.

Very slow to complete remodel still waiting for minor repairs to complete seems like no rush to get there from their point of view have to call daily for updates . No on the job oversites from mgmnt

The product is awesome. It is sturdy so that a larger person is able to feel safe when standing in the shower. The install was done in a day. I had the walls installed to the ceiling. I was given instructions on how to seal the shower from mildew. The silicon shrunk in a small area and the installer came back out in a reasonable time to fill in the gap. I used my own shower head and it was installed without problem. Also the shower rod was hung to my accommodate my shower curtain which was not a standard length. I was not home during the install and the installer was trustworthy and treated my home with care. Any preexisting conditions were fixed, such as my disconnected drain, were fixed. I would definitely recommend anyone considering a bath remodel to use Bath Planet.

Bath planet delivered high quality shower unit that replaced our old tub and installed a new vanity, toilet, and floor. They cleaned up every day and kept us informed. I am very happy.

The work was fast and excellent. There were some minor differences between what we understood and the final product.

We were told they do not do floors. And we wished we had painted first. We had to buy the vanity and medicine cabinet ourselves. We could not find a medicine cabinet with a light, so we bought a separate cabinet with a separate light, and then had to hire an electrician to install those as the Bath Planet worker was not an electrician (but he would have installed a lighted medicine cabinet). Despite them not installing the lighted medicine cabinet, which was in the contract, they would not refund any of the charges per Mike. They would not install simple towel racks -- "not in the contract." So be aware of what you need and want upfront and get it in the contract. The shower stall work looks great. They did come back to adjust a plumbing issue. Another worker did the pocket door and it was evident by the plaster work that he was less experienced. He brought no hardware for opening or closing the door. Overall we are glad for the remodel but we did learn much.

Working with Jeff our representative was good. The installers were excellent, efficient and professional.

This review is pending. The VP of the company personally called me and offered to rectify the situation. Once the work is complete it will amend this review. There is still hope for a favorable outcome. Typical bait and switch! Even though I have the contract in writing, they still cannot do it at the agreed upon price. 6 WEEKS after getting an estimate I was told they could only do it FOR $1500 more than the signed contract, despite my efforts to decrease cost by selecting less expensive materials. Will S gave me an estimate, accepted my deposit, measured on 2 separate occasions and referred me to a tile shop to pick tiles. The tile shop lady came out to our house, measured again, and Will confirmed the price. 2 weeks later the tile guys came to measure (along with Will) and once again confirmed the selection and price. Several days later I received a call from Will's boss Jeff and was told the tiles we picked out were "6-9 time more expensive" and they couldn't do the work for the quoted price. I offered to select tiles in their price range (and a cheaper shower door) and he agreed. We did just that and 2 days later was told that they could only do it "for cost" at over $1500 MORE than the contract stated. I asked why and he said something about labor costs. He had no real answer as to why. This is either a deceptive bait and switch practice, sheer incompetence as salesmen/contractors, or an "honest mistake". I'll let you decide. Will also used car salesman-like tactics during our initial visit (like calling his manager for approval for "special pricing"), which gave us an uneasy feeling that turned out to be confirmed weeks later. I have no idea of the quality of the work but personally I have lost trust in them. I feel lucky to get out without losing anything more than time, although I am still awaiting the return of my deposit (1/3 of the total cost), which I hope will arrive in a few days.

Our new shower is beautiful and extremly well constructed. Mel didn't have much of an old shower to work with but he did a thorough job. We haven't used it yet because the caulking has to cure but I look forward to showering in safety. Mel was very efficient and and left things as clean as could be expected. We are happy so far.

Bath Planet definitely has good customer service. There was a problem with my shut off valve which was my responsiblity. The technichan purchased the part I needed, replaced the valve and made sure I had running water before he left. He went above and beyond call of duty. They are the only company I would work with for this type of installation.

My shower is beautiful! The work and product were of great quality, and the installation was completed in two days.

The work was great. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it took longer than expected and there was an issue with the flooring that was ordered. Very happy with the quality of the work and the workers.

The project was estimated for one week, initially there were two workers on the first day after that only one worker which extended the job to two weeks. They installed the shower enclosure doors with inferior material from one of the big box home improvement stores. No final walk thru. Costumer service is lousy attempting to get proper shower door. Two months.
