The men were friendly courteous and did everything in the allotted time limit from my big deal which was 2 hours.

It was terrible. We packed a lot of things in plastic bags and after I signed the contract, first thing the guy said was, "We don't take breakables if they're not boxed." Another guy should've told me, "Hey, we're not gonna take your breakable and we're not gonna take your mirrors or anything like that unless it's in a box" before I signed anything. I felt like I was cheated a little bit there. They lost a bracket on the bottom of a marble table that I had and they picked up my computer desk and broke it in half and one guy seemed like he was getting in an attitude. It infuriated me. I guess I was sort of mad maybe from the very beginning after I signed. They should've told us that ahead of time and we could've rescheduled or something. I had to make two or three trips after they moved us and charged us. I really don't think they're affordable or friendly because I ended up paying $700 something. I got overcharged and I didn't get my service completely done so I guess I'd give them a pretty poor rating, to be honest. They know that I'd do that too because I'd let them know when they were here. I was gonna call their office but we're in the process of moving and their office, I think, was just as bad. It wasn't the movers.

First, the company actually got back to me!  I have been surprised that (even on Angie's List) that some don't ever call back or return emails.  The movers were ON TIME - and got the job done ASAP with NO incident.  They WERE FRIENDLY AND AFFORDABLE.  Completed the job in ONE HOUR!   Including travel!! I was very impressed and will definitely call them again for a move!

Very well.  No complaints.

They showed up right on time. They were very friendly and worked hard. Had the whole house loaded on the truck and were gone within a little over an hour. Unpacking was just as easy. They didn't throw things around. Treated items with respect. And were more affordable than most anyone else we looked at. Definitely recommend them. Would use them again in a skinny minute.

Great move..  We went over by an hour and were charged the correct amount. One of those rare times that I was happy to pay the bill.

After purchasing the Angie's list deal, Dan (the owner) came
to my house to provide an assessment on what would be required to move my
household goods across town. I had purchased the Angie's listed Friendly and
Affordable Mover's deal consisting of two men and a 16 foot truck for two hours
for $129. Upon looking at what the move would  require, Dan identified
that it would take a 26 foot truck and three movers since I had a considerable
amount of furniture and some packing of items such as mirrors and glass. As a
result, I signed a contract for the 26 foot truck and 3 movers, a different
deal then what was advertised on Angie's List but was discounted the amount of
the deal on Angie's List. Since there was a week between when we closed on the
house and when we actually moved, it gave us the opportunity to move a
considerable amount of the boxes and misc items ourselves. I would estimate we
had moved approx 40 of the 50 boxes and many of the smaller items. As a result,
I called Dan 3 days prior to the move and he agreed that I could go back to the
 original 2 men and a truck for $129.
What I didn't understand at the time was the truck could only be 16 footer
according to the Angie's list advertisement.  When the movers showed up, it was quite
evident that all of my furniture would not fit into it and therefore it would require
a second trip which with a 30 minute commute(both ways) - it would cost more.
That said, after a discussion with Dan, we were able to come to an agreement
that was even better than fair for me. The movers did a great job moving my household
goods efficiently and carefully. The movers were also very courteous and
receptive to my requests which is very much appreciated. Overall a good move
for a great price. I would recommend this company to anyone, just be sure to
read the details of every deal on Angie's List to ensure you know what the deal
entails.

The two gentlemen showed up on time.  Helped me move the heavy items from my house to the garage and was done within 30 min.  They were friendly and careful with my furniture.  I would definitely hire them again.

It was an easy move for them since I only asked them to move a heavy television downstairs. I cannot comment on their moving skills since they were only here for about 15 mins. They provided the service I requested.

The movers arrived on time and got everything moved to our new house well within the two hour window.  I noticed no damage and  everyone was extremely friendly and professional.  Would definitely recommend.

They arrived early and got to work. They were very hardworking, pleasant, and professional. I would definitely hire them again. I would highly recommend them to others.

The movers were friendly and efficient.  I will call them next time I want to rearrange furniture in my home.

The crew, Nick and Wade, arrived about 15 minutes earlier than I was told to expect them and went straight to work. Both men were very professional and very careful with my furniture which I was very happy about. They finished the job, which included reassembling my queen bed and re-attaching the mirror to the dresser, in just under 45 minutes. I had never used the services of movers before and was quite anxious about it, which is why  I joined Angie's list. I'm very glad I did and I would be happy to pay the full price next time I use A Friendly and Affordable Mover.

I was satisfied, but not impressed. I liked the price. Some things did get broken because it wasn't properly wrapped like they said they would do. Made a lot of excuses as to why they couldn't wrap it properly

They handled our furniture with care and lifted very heavy items for us. Thanks to them for being so helpful and professional.

My experience with A Friendly & Affordable Mover for moving went really well. They were very good. They did a nice job, and they were very pleasant. We had ten to twelve people in my house that day, and they still got the work done. I was completely satisfied with them. Their price was wonderful.

The two gentlemen showed up 5 min early.  They were very courteous and professional.  Got the job done in less than 30 minutes.  I will hire them again in the future!!
