The salesperson was extremely professional and helped us find a
beautiful ring. I do think their settings are on the high side;
however, you get what you pay for. I know that my setting has a
lifetime warranty, so again . . . get what you pay for. They have a
very large selection of settings and loose stones, so I cannot imagine
that anyone would have trouble finding a nice ring in his/her price
range. We pick up the ring in a few weeks, so we'll see if it turns out
as beautiful as we expect it will.

Mervis Diamonds at Tysons did what no other jeweler could. They delivered our dream ring iin time for a perfect proposal at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. We saw a setting at another store in the mall but felt the quality was poor not to mention that the salespeople knew very little. When I asked about the certification they advertised in their booklet they all looked at each other with a blank stare and said they didn't know what the letters stood for. We joked that our son could work in that store as he knew as much or more about diamonds than they appeared to. We decided to look at Mervis Diamonds at Tysons. We went to the Mervis Trunk Show that weekend to see what they had in stock and met with J. Mervis. He assured us that they could get exactly what we wanted made within our budget. We went in again and met with R. Mervis. He gave us some advice on the design and we modified it after seeing several CAD drawings. Several other local jewelers had said they could not get the ring custom made and deliver it in 4 weeks due to the July 4th holiday. Mr. Mervis not only assured us we would have the ring but said he would send it to us out of town should there be any delays. We were looking to get a .5 carat cushion or radiant certified stone and he found us a larger stone all within our budget. The finished ring was delivered on schedule and in time for a special proposal while at the beach, at the top of the historic Cape Hatteras lighthouse. It is magnificent, breathtaking, and perfect! No one has a ring like this - it is truly special - made more so by Mervis Diamonds. Thank you for helping to make it a lifetime memory for us!
