They first tried to clean up the damaged area, which ended up not working. They had to come back a second time to replace the damaged area, but did not charge additional for that second visit. They were SO nice to my kids. Kind, professional, and the job was well done. Thank you.

Very happy with all aspects of the process.  Danny responded quickly to my request for a quote and was able to perform the service on very short notice (the day after Christmas!).  He arrived exactly when he said he would, was professional and very knowledgeable.  Danny did a excellent job re-stretching the carpet and I will have him back to do another room in the near future.

The whole process went smoothly. Called and left message which was returned within an hour. Set appointment for the following day. We were concerned about areas of buckling carpet in my 91 year old mother-in-laws condo - afraid she would trip and fall. Danny showed up at the appointed time, assessed the situation and gave me a quote to include restretching the wall-to-wall carpet in several large areas and cleaning the carpets throughout. I thought the price reasonable Danny went straight to work. He finished in a timely fashion. Very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend/use in the future.

Made an appointment Monday night with the owner Danny O'Connor to fix an area along one wall where a carpet had been extended inside a reach-in closet that had since been walled off and extended into a dressing area had since been been tiled. Also mentioned uneven carpet on the stairs and some depressions in the carpet where I had attempted to stop a squeaky floor with nails (bad idea - don't do it!)  Danny assured me over the phone that he would be able to handle the problems. Danny arrived on time as scheduled, gave me a fair price and went right to work.. He completed the work timely, and efficiently and it looks great. Gave me a professional's tip for removing furniture depressions in carpet and demonstrated it for me...easy process and it works great. I would highly recommend Danny for any carpet repair problem!!

I called on Monday and service was completed the following day. He was great and did a excellent job, will be calling again!!!!

Danny arrived on time and the service went much quicker than I expected. The floors look great. He included the cleaning of the stairs and hallway for free in addition to the stretching and cleaning I paid for, which was great. Best price I found among several competitors. I used him for a home I just turned into a rental, and I know I'll be using him in my new house and for future tenant move outs in the future.

the service was excellent. I was very impressed with the professionalism and speed that they were able to complete this project. This was a last minute project that they were able to fit me in and I appreciated that the fact they were able to do it was amazing. they were again very impressive and I would use them again.

We made an appointment with the owner Danny O'Connor to stretch several rooms of wall to wall carpeting on a two level townhouse. We feared that we would have to replace all of the carpeting but Danny assured us over the phone that he would be able to stretch it rather than have it replaced. He did not even attempt to sell us new carpeting as we suspected since other companies had informed us that it couldn't be stretched but needed replacement. Danny arrived on time as scheduled, gave us a fair price and went right to work.. He completed the work timely, and efficiently and it looks great. We plan to hire Danny again soon to have the carpeting cleaned. I highly recommend Dannny and his company.

Danny was very responsive, he picked up the phone, gave me the quote for the minimum charge which was exactly what he charged me. He called me when he realized he will be a bit late. He performed the repair fast, with quality workmanship. I have no compliants and would highly recommend him. I cannot even tell where the repair was done it looks so good.

This was the second time I had someone in to repair carpet on the basement stairs and Danny fixed it! He guaranteed the work. He was on time and the price was fair.

Mr. Danny O'Connor is indeed a carpet repairman of stellar and qualitative proportions. His was the second estimate that we received and his estimate came in $500. LESS than the first estimate. He paid extreme attention to detail in every area of the job. Due to the fact that he was coming a distance from his home to ours, he called us to inform us that he was on his way but was combating traffic. That spoke volumes to us of his attention to the importance of our time. He re-stretched 13 areas in our home, which included four bedrooms, a recreational area, which qualified as two rooms, a dining/living room passage, which qualified as two rooms, a garden room area, two hallways and two closets. Since we have massive furniture, which all had to be extensively moved, he knew precisely how to move it all with nary an ounce of worry or damage. Also, in the original estimate, he thought he would have to cut some seams to stretch some areas, but after reconsideration, he did not cut any seams but moved furniture, which was not easy, and expended much energy and precision in removing every original buckle which was apparent. If I noticed something about the carpet after he re-stretched an area, he carefully explained everything to me involved in the process of the job but then went over the area, which was stretched, and made additional adjustments. His comment, and quot;I just want you to be happyand quot; said it all to us as customers--this was our home and he wanted to be certain that we were contented with the job that he was doing. Additionally, the first estimate that we received only offered a one-year warranty; Danny offered a life-time warranty. That also spoke to us about how confident he was in his expertise and skill in doing the job at hand.
We would highly recommend Danny O'Connor as he has proven himself to be most polite, professional, and extremely proficient, with most reasonable pricing in carpet repair and re-stretching. He is organized, true to his word--when he informs his customers he will be at their home at a certain time, he is-- and the end result of his job is beautiful. For years, we have lived with the buckles in our carpet. In one morning they were all removed thanks to Mr. Danny O'Connor.

Was able to set up appointment within a few days of initial call. Danny came out to look at everything and let me know what areas needed to be cleared (ie books off bookcase, dresser tops cleared) and then came back the next day to do the job. Very efficient and good work.

I have contacted this company twice regarding repairing my carpet and I have not received any response from them. This is the first time in my experience a company in Angies list is not responding to customer enquiries - very much surprised with the atitude

Overall this was the worst experience we have had with a carpet cleaning service. Danny acted like he was in a hurry to get to his next job and didn't perform the work as we had expected.

Overall the workmanship is fine. When he went to pick up the carpet there was a sale on upgraded padding and obtained that for us. Our concern and reason for lowered ratings in some areas was that other than the initial estimating appointment, he was not on time for anything.
He originally said he would do the work Thursday and Friday but then called to say he had to delay until Friday and Saturday. On Friday he called to say he was running late. He blamed heavy traffic and that he had to drive to Baltimore to get the carpet. He told in the beginning he was going to get it from Baltimore so why he did not account for that for his time estimate is unknown.
He worked only an hour and a half the first day after showing up 3 hours late. He then showed up 2 hours late on Saturday and did not finish and had to come back on Monday to complete the job. At no time did he apologize for being late and showed no remorse for affecting our schedules and needs by not getting the work done on time or showing up on time.
On one day he also spilled carpeting staples and nails on our driveway and luckily we spotted them before we drove on them or stepped on them.
A couple of smaller items but still noteworthy was his assistant using our vacuum cleaner without asking permission and placing two large bags of carpet remnants in our recycling bin.

Called and was able to set up an appointment in just a couple days. I thought he was just going to measure and give me an estimate, but he got to work right away, which was a wonderful surprise!!! Very professional, and was about half of the price quoted to me by the big local carpet company. Guaranteed his work for life, and he even fixed the carpet on one of my stairs free of charge. He told me the builders used the wrong kind of carpet nails on that stair, so he definitely knows what he's doing. We have been having a lot of work done to our house lately, and I definitely think this has been the best -- fast, easy, knew what he was doing, and saved us a bundle.

I was traveling when trying to arrange an appointment for a carpet repair with Danny and due to completely my own fault had trouble connecting(...bad cell connections, etc). Despite this, Danny was very patient and we were finally able to connect by phone after playing phone tag over a day or two. He was able to come out on a Sunday which was the following day and was very convenient for us!

We had a large berber carpet which had four small areas which needed repair and/or patching. We had matching remnants from the original installation. Danny showed up early, completed the repairs within 2 hours and did quality work. He cleaned up afterwards. Overall, he was very professional, did great work, was responsive and I would definitely use again if ever I needed this type of work done again. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with the work. Danny had recently done repair work for us where we he patched an area which had been discolored with an accidental stain. We were happy with that experience and so called him up to schedule an appointment for this job. He happened to be in a nearby community and so was able to come out at the end of that same day. Again, we are very pleased with his responsiveness and the quality of his work.

Mr. O'Connor was friendly, skilled and professional. He described how he would go about doing he job. He pointed out the difference in color between the existing carpet and the brighter/newer look of the carpet in the closet. We discussed the pros and cons of continuing and soon decided to proceed. He not only did a high quality job of securing the patch into the cutout but also installed the cutout (stained)section in the closet as we had asked. Mr. O'Connor made sure we understood the price before starting the job. We are very pleased with his work and he will be the first we call for any carpet-related work in the future.

Mr. O'Conner showed up on time and was very upfront about costs and the process involved. He did the work efficiently and carefully. He was very friendly and took great care in moving furniture and other items around. I highly recommend him and his company and am so glad I found him. I would definitely use him for other services.
