I have nothing but praise for this contractor.  I required estimates from several contractors before committing to the work.  He came out on schedule and discussed my needs.  He not only understood completely what outcome I was expecting as a result of adding lighting to my garage but suggested several alternatives.  I had done much research before to determine what lights would be appropriate and he was most knowledgeable about the alternatives.
I had estimates from other contractors for the same work. Dave's estimate was higher but his experience and manner made it easy for me to decide to get him to do the job.  On the day of installation, he arrived on time.  He installed 4 fluorescent fixtures with electronic ballasts on my garage ceiling and a 5th one over my bench area, also in the garage.  He exchanged an existing 2-gang outlet for a 4-gang and on/off switch for the 5th light.  The 4 lights were controlled by a motion sensing switch.  This switch was not the correct one when installed and he returned to replace it with one that worked better.
I would certainly use him again.

I would summarize my experience with Autumn Electric as exceptional; certainly much more positive than I was expecting.  Clearly they appreciated my having cleared away work areas where possible, and they double-checked with me to make sure the placement of lights and outlets was correct.  The lead electrician (Will or Bill - don't remember exactly at this time), was very experienced and directed work for the other electrician as needed.  He took it upon himself to check my entire electrical panel, which is how he discovered the rusted breakers.
The work in the garage, even though not a living space, was performed very neatly with a minimum number of cutouts to assist in threading the wires during installation.  The cut-outs were replaced neatly with screws to keep them in place, dimpling the drywall enough to be ready for patching by me (the homeowner).
The wood strips in the basement were both glued and nailed or screwed into the concrete to prevent them from moving or falling with the receptacle set at the correct height and depth to allow for future drywall finishing.  All wiring was neatly accomplished and attached with a minimum number of bore-holes through the rafters.
The work in the kitchen and den was incredible.  Will/Bill's attention to detail and effort in carefully cutting out the holes for the recessed lights so as to not break the drywall was very much appreciated and in one case where the ceiling had been patched before and began to crumble, he was able to re-patch it so well, it was not visible to the naked eye.  He succeeded in using only one extraneous square cutout in the kitchen to feed wiring - all the other cut-outs were cut in the garage-side wall facing the kitchen and den.  While it took a bit longer to complete the task, the end result was much less damaging to the interior, and that attention to detail was extremely appreciated.  He was able to use one of the ceiling circular cutouts for one of the recessed lights to patch the hole left by the fluorescent light fixture.  I was able to use a minimum of patch compound to seal the edges and match the rest of the textured ceiling and prime it (yet to be painted).  It is undetectable.
I highly recommend Autumn Electric to anyone in the area.

The fan in my master bathroom was making a horrible, vibrating noise.  I called them this morning to schedule an appointment.  Luckily, one of their technicians was in the area, and showed up at my place within 30 minutes.  After diagnosing the issue (which was that my fan was completely hosed and needed replacement), he left to get a new fan, returned to my place and then installed it.  Everything was smooth, quick and easy.  The electrician (named Chris) was very polite and professional.

Rick showed up on time and took care of the problem efficiently and professionally. We spent only a few minutes locating the right circuit breaker - my panel is mislabled - and then he went to work and finished quickly. The new outlet was perfect, and he cleaned up his mess without being asked or reminded. A thorougly pleasant experience which mirrored the similar experience I had had previously with them to wire my gutter helmet heating system. I would not hesitate to recommend Autumn Electtric for any work done. Great company and highly recommended!

Automn Electric's response was very professional. They gave me a date by which the master electrician would come, he came perfectly on time, took time to discuss the project and provide some advice, then I received the quote after a couple of days. The quote was well written, clear and precise. It was the most professional I received.
I did not retain Automn Elelctric because I ended up finding another good professional who was cheaper, but I would recommend contacting Automn Electric for a quote.

We did not use them due to high cost of estimate.

I initially emailed the provider on 9/25/2013 through Angie's list's message system and got the response the same day. I then called the Darrell the second day and clarify some fee issues. Darrel was very nice and knowledge. So we scheduled an appointment for October 4th, 2013. I will update by then. As for now. everything works smoothly.

They are super professional, the person handling scheduling is fantastic, and they are always very careful and precise in their work.  I can tell they take pride in what they do and they really care about doing a great job.  They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I was very satisfied with the service. Chris was the technician. He arrived on time, explained the problem he found and what he was going to do to fix the problem. He did the work quickly. He even cleaned up the area before leaving. It was a small job, but I everything I saw indicated that Autumn Electric is a company with high standards.

The work team of two electricians showed up on time, well prepared, and did the work as specified in a professional, efficient and competent manner.  We have used Autumn Electric in the past, and will definitely continue to do so in the future.

I was able to schedule a time that worked well for me, and the electrician arrived exactly as planned.   He was courteous, efficient, and helpful with advice on best lights to use to address my needs in a safe and economical fashion.    The cost of the work was about $350, the rest was for the three closet fixtures he purchased for me and necessary parts.    In one long walk-in closet, he suggested we try one fixture to see if it would be enough, then came back without a second service charge when I called to say I wanted to go ahead with a second fixture.   Autumn is a tiny bit more expensive than other electricians I have used, but you get a lot of quality for that price.   This was the third set of projects I've used them for.

I have used Autumn Electric a number of times at both my residence & my son's . They have been nothing but professional and reliable thru the years.

Chris Lopez is thorough, knowledgeable, and resolved all of the electrical concerns I had very well. He is highly experienced and professional. Arrived 10" early and explained well what he was doing. There were no surprises with the fee, with little materials costs and just the exact hours and rate quoted during my initial customer service call. I am an attorney, so I am picky and detail oriented as a customer. Chris met all expectations.



I came into this appointment really jaded over a bad experience I had with a different company a week earlier, where they said over the phone that the issue was resolved, only for me to see the stove plugged into an electric cord still. Thank you, Autumn Electric!

Autumn Electric Co Inc. are good. He was quite a detective. He found out something that had probably been defective since before I bought the house, that led to some sort of short. He went from room to room, took off a plate and found a little tiny burnt copper end, which was causing the problem. I was impressed. The house has been inspected and appraised at least twice and nobody else had found it. This is an old, old story.

I was very happy with the service.  I had an electrican come out to give me a free estimate, and he explained what they would have to do, and then we scheduled the work to be done about two weeks later.  I wanted two dedicated outlets installed by two bedroom windows for AC window units, as our central air hardly make it upstairs.  Thankfully, it could be done with minimal mess and disruption.  Our breaker box has 200 amp service, and we had more than enough remaining amps available.
The day of the installation, electricians arrived on time and I showed them around, they determined what they needed to do and explained to me exactly what they were going to do.  I know enough about electrical work to get myself into trouble, so I was interested in learning.  I'm not one of those people who tell someone, "just do it, and I'll pay you."  I want to know what they're doing.
What they had to do was attach a line to the breaker box in our basement and bring it OUTSIDE, under the side porch running all along the house, then up and along the chimney and roof (it's inside weather-approved or whatever it's called PVC conduit) in order to bring it into the back bedroom.  They then continued on to the other bedroom.  Luckily, our house is a Cape and we have two little storage spaces with sliding doors next to the windows.  So outlet installation was pretty easy and I'm so glad, because it made it easier and cleaner for them and cheaper for us.
The works looks great, and you can hardly even tell that they added conduit.  I feel safe, knowing that my little 5000 BTU (they're small!) window units aren't frying my regular lines and I had complete faith in Autumn's work.  Whenever we are able to renovate and expand our house, I would definitely call Autumn again.  All three gentlemen I encountered were professional, nice and friendly, knowledgable and efficient.  And they took the time to explain everything to me, without treating me like an idiot. 

Great service! They provided a very reasonable quote (I collected 4 quotes) and had good reviews on Yelp. So we chose them to install 3 single outlets, 2 circuits in our garage. The owner did the quote himself, and he sent Phil as the technician. Phil was great! He was very knowledgeable, and did a professional job. We will use them again!

Chris showed up a few minutes earlier than the start of the 2-hour window we were given (which was fine) and completed all work in under one hour. He did a fine job and came in under the estimate given to me over the phone. It was a simple job, but I wouldn't hesitate to call on autumn Electric again in the future. They were prompt, courteous and professional and were able to come to our home within 3 days of my initial call. I would recommend this company to others.

Their customer service is good.  I have dealt with them in the past.  The price was twice as much and so I decided not to do the work.  They quoted around $1100-$2000 to run the wire line in the house.  It wasn't a negative experience, but it was my circumstances.  I decided not to follow through because it seemed like an option.  Their response was good.

They were good. We were able to choose what type of light fixtures that we wanted. They were very knowledgeable. What stood out to me about them was that they quoted us a price to put in some recessed lights and when they got there to actually put them in, they discovered that it was going to be much more difficult than they expected and they spent almost the entire day there but only charged us what they had quoted us. They also did a very good job. I do not remember exactly what the price was but it must have been a good deal.

I love them. My contractor used another company that I did not like and they came and corrected the job. They have done work in every house that I have had. In fact, they have just done work in my new house. They are phenomenal and they are the only company that I used and will use for electrical services. I basically just gave them the list from my home inspector and they addressed all my electrical issues in my new house. They are timely, professional and efficient. I think that their prices are really good.

Autumn Electric performed all the work in a professional and efficient manner. They also checked an outlet I thought was broken but re-set it and got it working at no charge. I have used Autumn Electric several times in the past year and been very pleased with their work and service. They are available fairly quickly. For this job, I supplied my own ceiling fan and motion lights. They also cleaned up very well afterwards. Great service for a fair price.

I had several outlets which had stopped working in the house, and thought it would be necessary to call in an electrician to scope the problem.  When I called, the first question I was asked was whether any GFCI outlets needed to be reset, as these can cause other outlets in different areas of the house to stop working.  I recalled that one of the GFCI outlets in a bathroom had a broken reset button, which he then suggested could be the culprit.  I was able to replace that one broken outlet myself which restored power to the remaining outlets and saved me at least $150.  I greatly appreciate Autumn Electric's honesty when they could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance!

Phil had to make careful choices about how to install the electrical lines in the finished basement without having the additions show. He did a beautiful job and you would never know that such a substantial change had been made. The exterior work was done just as carefully and we were pleased with every detail of the work, and with the very pleasant way he worked around the house. We were very pleased with everything about the project and would certainly use them again.
