- Five of the seven lillies opened up by Mothers Day. Two big buds never opened. All seven of the iris never opened. They were obviously not fresh when delivered. I followed the instructions to the letter. I was left with a big green vase with five lillies, two dead lily buds and seven dead iris buds. My kids spent money they can't afford to get me flowers for Mother's Day.

They were never delivered. I asked to speak with a manager, but I haven't received a call back.

Each time i have order flowers it has never been close to the pictures. So i double up the amount of flowers you get and they still did not seem as fresh looking as the pictures. For each time i order chocolate they usual are melted by the time they make it off the fedex truck. They did not use enough material to keep them cool. Someone was home for each delivery so that they would not have to sit in the heat. To receive melted chocolate while at home is wrong and it happen on every pruchase. So they need to relook on how they do delivers. And i know this marketing but if you can't get the flowers as fresh as the pictures then to me that is wrong. They at least should be close, mine have been looking as if i had 3 days left before they die...

I bought flowers and candy for my spouse birthday. The flowers never look as good as the picture and you do not get everything in the picture. So i double up and still did not look close to the picture which was disappointing. The chocolate was melted beyond recongnition. I bought flowers from them several times along with chocolate dipped strawberrys. The was melted but replace and are good. But on the last exhange they seem to be given me issues. I guess because everytime i get melted chocolate and i had someone home during the deliver. i can see if the package had to wait until i came home from work... I will not buy flowers again but i will get the strawberries.

This was HORRIBLE. I when on line and ordered flowers for a funeral. The picture on their website shows lilies (my aunt loved lilies) and the price was cheap. But gee, I didn't expect what I saw when I got to the funeral. I was SO DISAPPOINTED and EMBARASSED when I saw what was actually delivered by proflowers. I would never never never never never never never use them again.
I'm trying to post a picture here, but Angie won't let me. Well, let's see if I can describe how horrible it was. I found out later that the funeral director actually tried to do me a favor by opening the box and putting the flowers into the vase. So there were 3 stems of lilies, looked like they were all dead, just hanging out in a vase. Compared to the beautiful flowers that my family had delivered to the funeral from flower shops, I was horrified and I actually snuck my flowers out of the room and threw them in the garbage before my uncle saw them.

They were fine and were on time. We really liked the fresh flowers and they had a good price. I would probably use them again in the future.

I was attracted to this ad on Google, as I was playing one of their "Zynga" games. I should have checked it out before ordering from them, I confess. I was disappointed to hear that flowers in vases came in a box. I expected flower delivery like FTD, like everyone else, I guess. In my case, it didn't matter. I didn't buy a vase. I may use them again, but I'll be sending them to myself, so I can see what I'm sending people.
I want to post my bill here too. Just so you know what to expect:
Deluxe Mom's Smiles & Sunshine: $39.98
Happy Mother's Day Card: $ 2.99
Standard Delivery $12.99
Care & Handling $ 2.99
Tax: $ 2.76
TOTAL: $61.71
I will pay more attention next time. I somehow got the idea that delivery on the 9th was going to be "free shipping". The "Care & Handling" is just a renamed charge they said they weren't charging anymore. I didn't expect my $40 purchase to exceed $60. The price doesn't bother me as much as the surprise! My mom is worth $60. I'm not sure the flowers were, but she is!
In case anyone wonders; their rating at the Better Business Bureau is a "C" also.

It was a disaster. I placed the order during the week to make sure that the flowers would get to their destination on time. On Saturday I received a notification that the flowers had been picked up by FedEx and were scheduled to be delivered on time. Around noon the same day I recieved a notification from ProFlowers.com saying that there had been an inventory issue and the flowers hadn't been delivered. I called FedEx wondering what was going on; it turned out that ProFlowers.com had put the wrong name in the database so that when FedEx got my package it had the wrong name on it. The flowers had been delivered to the wrong person, and they endeavored to remedy the issue by giving me a $75.00 gift card and then only refunded me $29.00

I contacted Proflowers, but they offered to give me a discount on my next purchase. Why would I make another purchase from them. It would be good money going bad.

Their service was okay. I was a little disappointed that I had to actually put the flowers into the vase. The price was higher than I expected because of shipping and I wasn’t that pleased with the flowers themselves.

I was last there for mother's day. I got some yellow mums. I had to get there early, they are very busy. They were preparing wreaths when I got there and they told me to go ahead and get what I needed.

They have never failed me in 25 years. They are always on time. This happened about 15 years ago, they called and said we may be getting to the address a little late delivering it by 7 o'clock in the evening of the same day. And that is the only glitch they ever had. At that time, my wife was a Marine Corp so when I send things to work like on a birthday and things like that, it was always perfect. I'm going to be using them again real soon because my wife's birthday is real soon.

They have good specials. You can always count on them to arrive on time. I have sent orchids to a special person every year, and they are excellent. The orchids have lived a long time. The product is really good since orchids are hard to grow. I think it's a good company. It's reasonably priced. You can always count on them to get there on time.

ProFlowers.com is convenient because we don't have to worry about it. We have no qualms about their quality. One time we sent a gardenia plant and it really looked poorly and they immediately replaced it. ProFlowers.com has been good about that sort of thing.

My initial correspondence with ProFlowers:When the delivery person delivered my wife's Mother's Day bouquet, I immediately told him that it was the wrong bouquet. He gave me the local business name and number to call (Garden City Florist 703-533-8636). I called and spoke to a very nice woman who told me they would replace the bouquet the following day with one that included sunflowers. She stated she needed additional sunflowers from the warehouse (?). The following day, no flowers were delivered and I called to check on the status. She stated that the flowers from the warehouse were not satisfactory. I therefore told her I wanted a refund. She was agreeable to that, but I needed to return the flowers so she could get credit from the warehouse(?), so I was to leave them outside the door for a delivery person to pick them up. I did as I was told, but no one picked them up, and I called to remind them in case they forgot. She said they would have the driver pick them up tomorrow. This routine (no pick up, me calling, they saying they'll pick them up the following day) has transpired every day since Sunday, May 13th. I feel as if I am getting the run-around, and now I just want my money back. Attached you will find a photo of my $75 mother's day bouquet which does not include the sunflowers (the focus of the bouquet I ordered). As you can see, the delivered bouquet is grossly inadequate for the amount of money spent on the product, and the bouquet is only designed with one "face" in mind, as if the bouquet was intended to be laying in a box. How do I get my money back for this product?
ProFlowers initial response: Thank you for your recent order. Please accept our apologies for any dissatisfaction you experienced with our service. Although we are pleased that the recipient received the arrangement for the Mother's Day holiday, we are concerned that the substituted bouquet did not meet your standards. As was stated online when you placed the order, and included with your confirmation e-mail, our substitution policy states that due to the increased demand due to the Mother's Day holiday, there may be cases where substitutions are made for flowers or vases. Substitutions will be for a product as close as possible, and of equal or greater value to the original requested product. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns. We look forward to serving you again!
My rebuttal: What your substitution policy does not address is the substandard quality of product. The product I received, as indicated by my previously attached photographs was nearly a HALF a bouquet. It appeared as if were pulled from a box, and only meant to be viewed from one side. This quality of product is not what was expected, and as a first-time purchaser with ProFlowers makes me reluctant to do so again. It is also concerning that the customer service I have received was inadequate, as I was repeatedly told one thing, but never followed through in the end. I thank you for your apologies, but I wholeheartedly disagree that this is simply a "substitution" issue.
ProFlowers "final" response: Thank you for contacting Proflowers Florist Express. We sincerely apologize for your disappointment with your recent order. Therefore, we are issuing you a 15% refund off of the product. This refund will process back to your account within 1-3 business days.
My final thoughts: In summary, I did not receive the bouquet in the picture, nor was the bouquet designed to be viewed from all sides...but I did receive a whopping 15% credit for my troubles. Never again ProFlowers! I will ensure this information is distributed far and wide.

I use them because its so much easier, I can go online to order and it is always delivered. They are probably most the expensive out there but the way they ship its always a quality arrangement and flowers that are not going to die the next day. I can order flowers for my wife's birthday and they are going to last for a week or week and a half. Every time I have used them they have met and exceeded the expectations. I use them at least three times per year for floral service.

They were excellent. I liked that were very reasonable and the flowers they had to offer was of a good variety. They were sourced locally to where it had to be sent. Like this last time I sent my daughter in Hawaii, flowers so I put the order here in ProFlowers and the order goes to the florist in Hawaii who puts the bouquet together or it goes to the grower first and then they find someone to put the bouquet together. Then the flowers come to the recipient partially closed, they were not fully opened yet. So the bouquet last forever. I sent my daughter the bark as the leave and the blue iris flower in a big 2 feet tall bouquet. She said it looked wonderful. I sent the same bouquet to my daughter in law and she was very happy too. I have used them for eight years. Shipping to Hawaii was a lot more, even Alaska. Quality was worth the price. I never had anything late.
