$1800+ later they passed the car. I took my Mercedes in for an inspection, it failed, said it needed a new engine mount and a front axle . They wanted to do the work. I took it to my mechanic in Richmond. Nothing was wrong with the car. I contacted the va state police. The state trooper met me at Macs , and determined that the car should have passed, the engine mount and axle are just fine. These people are either incompetent or cheaters. They make a very bad name for the profession. Beware .

I like that it's close. They always seem to do a good job.

I've used them a few times and I've been pretty impressed with them. It was very good. They changed ownership, you don't know the guys because they're from out of the area but they're very professional, actually more so than the previous owner. Their pricing was fair and actually gave me some discount maybe as an incentive to get to business. It's not that they way undercut their competition but they did undercut one of the dealership that I considered going to but as far as I can tell, the work was fine. I had some issue after the work was done and I didn't know if it was related to the work they've done and I took the car back to them and they immediately took me in. They tested the car out and determined that it was a false positive type of situation. They reset everything on the car and got the lights on the dash to clear out and they didn't charge me anything for all that which if I took it with the dealership, they could have charged me but they are very customer service oriented. They've handled everything very well to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them. I am very pleased with them. I would take 2 of my cars there and check their breaks too.

I would highly recommend them. I used their service a month ago. I've used them for about three years. We found other places but always went back to them even though they were thirty five minutes away from the house. They are very good and trustworthy people. We use a lot of them. They got good technology for alignments and stuff like that. Their prices are either equal to or less than pretty much everything we've looked at. They've got services for people in the area where they'll actually come take your vehicle for you, change oil and bring it back. Especially when I was working over there it was perfect. We used to use the golf course and people would be playing golf. If they needed an oil change the guys would come, pick up the car and bring it back before their round was over. They're awesome. For us quality wise everything has been perfect. My husband's car has got some custom rims on it and they had accidently misplaced the wheel lock key to get the rims off. They probably spent two weeks searching for it because those rims weren't made anymore. They actually bought another wheel lock key and the cheapest one we could find was $200. Since they lost it, they said it was their fault and so bought us another one.

When I saw the bill I noticed that the parts were at least 3Xs the price that I could purchase them for and voiced my concerns and amazingly the prices dropped significantly on the parts after that. Anyway I included to have 4 hours labor completed and waited for them to call me to tell the the parts were in . By the time the call came in at 2:30 in the afternoon and talked with someone and I could bring the car in and I asked what time did they close and he said 5:30 and earliest I could get there it would be 3 at the earliest and asked if that was enough time to complete the repair (s) he said yes. I should have walked away then, but had to ask how he was going to complete 4 hours labor (that i was eventually charged for) in 2 and half hours? Well of course there was a pause and he said yeah that's right can you bring it in tomorrow? Sure (you think I would have went somewhere else by then but generally trust people) Well I brought the vehicle back the next day and the repairs were completed ( I guess? I'll have GM verify this when I take it in to them to really get the car fixed, because after spending over $600 the Check Engine Light was still on. I've learned my lesson , go to reputable Cadillac dealers and stop trying to find a decent local mechanic. Tired of deception and being blatantly lied to and lead to believe that people tell the truth. They don't, they tell the truth as they see to serve their needs.
