Seal-Tite's local representative/estimator, Mark Brandt, called and arranged to come to the house in a week.  He arrived on time (in fact, an hour early after calling to see if that was alright).  He gave a close inspection to the exterior and interior.  He put a laser on the brick courses and noticed perhaps a one quarter inch drop from the back of the house to the front.  He said the damage was very minor, not structural, with no iminent danger of worsening. He said to keep an eye on it and if it got worse Seal-tite could shore up the front corner of the house (with piers) for about $6000 to $7500.
The estimate was free and eased my mind about the extent of the damage.  Mark Brandt was very courteous and professional without pressuring me to agree to some product or service.  If the crack does worsen, I will use Seal-Tite to make the necessary repairs.

We had two contractors come to our home and look at the problem. Seal-tite was one and estimated the work at $2000. The other company estimated the work at $17,000 (which they later reduced to $9000). A third company (which also seemed reasonable) did an estimate over the phone for $1700). The Seal-tite sales person came and inspected the leak and found several issues that prevented some of the work from being done from the inside of the home; however, they still provided a 10-year guarantee for their work. The Seal-tite work crew drove from Roanoke VA (we live in Northern VA), showed up within 1/2 hr of the start time. Had a supervisor and two laborers. We're careful to keep the floors clean when they came inside to see the problem. SInce they did not need to be in the house during the day, we locked up the house and left for work (they were there at 7:30am). The Seal-tite supervisor called us at the end of the day to report on the work and came back the next morning with his crew to inspect the work site and test the fix.

This company is top-notch! Other competitors will attempt to get their business by undercutting their bid just enough to make it look like a better bargain. There was no bargain in less-than quality work to our home. They went above and beyond what they signed on to do; which included working through rain and snow outside in Feb. It was obvious that they all worked well together to get the job done right. Every individual, whom we came in contact with--be it on the phone or here doing the work, was geniune in their desire to please. We really needed to be able to trust them--and the results-- after the horrible experience we had with the former company. The service & timeline was impeccable and we highly recommend!!!
