I called to make a 1st time appointment and told them I bath my dogs all I need was for them to be shaved, nails and ears. The women turned me down and was very short with me. I bath my dogs because of a bad grooming experience when they were puppies so I try to shorten their appointments

THe best thing about Country Pet Groomers is that my small dog loves going there, even though she gets bathed, manicurred and cut! Crystal and Tony Wright do a great job. We always get compliments on her cut. We can leave her in their hands knowing she will be treated well and groomed well.

Both times I have used their service they have done a wonderful job with my dogs. With the Standard poodles, I have to be careful who I use as one of the dogs has a seizure disorder and will suffer seizures when taken to the groomer. They did a great job with her and she remained calm and seizure-free. Both dogs looked beautiful. Just used them today to groom a 15-week old toy poodle puppy that had never been groomed before.
Had very positive experiences both times. The groomers (husband and wife) took the time to find out about my pets and their health history, including Rabies vaccinations. Both took time to find out my grooming preferences and made suggestions on best cuts for certain areas. As well, both took the time to greet the dogs and get to know them.
Both times I was notified promptly when it was time to pick up my pets. The groomers are good yet efficient. I liked knowing my pets were not being confined to a crate for an all-day grooming experience as some other grooming services have done. Will definitely continue to use them for my pets' grooming needs.

I was very pleased. I've been getting dogs groomed for 20 years, the last 16 in the Charlotte, NC area, and Country Pet did as good or better than anyone I've ever had groom my dogs. They allow the dogs to remain out of the cage if possible, which I like. The shop is clean, both in appearance and smell.
One of my dogs is fear aggressive and does not like strangers. She reacted well (for her) to Tony. She didn't bark at him and actually sniffed his hand before hiding behind me. Crystal had them out of the cage when I came to get them and I was given an exuberant greeting, which tells me they were completely comfortable with her. Crystal asked for my feedback on what I liked/didn't like on the cut, since I was a first time customer. My husband remarked that they didn't leave a single clipper track.That's unusual, because Sadie is NOT good about holding still so invariably she ends up with a groove in her haircut somewhere. Not this time.
Be aware that they are not set up for credit cards, so bring cash or a checkbook.

It went very well. My dog is shy and timid and they did an excellent job making him as comfortable as possible. This was clearly evident when I went to pick him up and he was laying down with two other dogs, looking pretty relaxed.

We love them. The owner is Crystal Wright. We've used this gal for 5 or 6 years. She grooms every type of dog and she is good.

They are in the county where we live so we like that they are close by. She did a very good job with our dog so we are going back. Her price was comparable with what other groomers charge; it wasn't any higher or any lower. She was very accommodating in working with our schedule to get our dog in there.
