I found Wacker through Angie's list and was not disappointed.  We had some minor problems with water running in 2 of the toilets in our new home.  My husband had tried to fix it but it still kept happening.  Wacker came out, immediately identified the problem, fixed it, using the materials my husband had already purchased so as not to incur unnecessary cost, checked another toilet, fixed that, and, at my request identified a chug chug noise that I was hearing.  Turns out the water pressue was way too high. He replaced the pressure valve, noise is gone and possibility of major flooding in basement gone as well.  Price was reasonable and I felt like I was being charged for the service that was performed, nothing more.  I would definitely use them in the future. |

Bryan showed up on time and immediately got to work fixing a wrongly piped setup under the sink (new home purchase) and installing a disposal unit. He offered different options, and even helped to adjust the pull out drawer so that it could still be used by cutting a small corner off.  He also stopped a leak in the crawl space identified by the home inspector and took a look at the video from the sewage camera being run by another company (the guys knew each other) to identify a change i should consider long term. Last, i also wanted a quote to bring a shutoff valve into the house, he provided me with options and i picked what worked best and would look okay. Estimates arrived after the visit via email, followed by a paper version of the estimate. 
He was clearly knowledgeable and professional throughout.  I would use wacker again.

We obtained several estimates for plumbing rough-in of our basement and Wacker Plumbing was by far the best value.  They were professional and prompt through the entire estimate process, and were very willing to answer our questions and help us through the permit process.  The team that completed the work was efficient, courteous, and did a great job.  After inspection, there was one issue the inspector asked them to fix (not a code violation, just a preference of the County) and they came back right away and fixed it without any drama.
We were very impressed with Wacker Plumbing and would recommend them without hesitation.  We are also planning to use them again to complete the shower enclosure in our bathroom.

It took probably an hour longer than I expected but I know he was being careful not to crack the granite.  It was well worth paying the plumber for an extra hour rather than spending $10,000 to replace cracked granite.
The work was done over a month ago and I don't remember the cost.  I would use this plumbing company again.

I have been using them for years. They have always provided me with excellent service. They are just very good. They know what they are doing. They get the job done and get it done right the first time. In fact, the job that they were repairing, the tenant had pulled off the pipe off of the faucet. I do not know what he was doing but the tenants do weird things sometimes and you wonder, "What were you doing? What were you thinking?" He disconnected the pipe from the faucet and he could not get it back on again and he was panicked so we had Wacker come out and they not only fixed it but they also put a longer stem or something on so the tenant cannot just arbitrarily pull the pipes apart. It was something so the tenant cannot get to it.

Call at 7 am on Monday Job was completed by 9:30 am. Promised arrival between 8:00 am and 10 am. Arrived promptly. Professional and respectful.

We started using plumbing services from Wacker some time ago but had a list of things that needed to be done recently.  We've been very impressed with several things:
- They have more personal service than all other plumbers we've worked with.  We know the service coordinator in the office and our plumber (Brian) on a first name basis and they are immediately familiar with our house and account.
- Brian is a genuinely nice guy that does high quality work very efficiently.
- They are fair in both their pricing and approach to work and billing.  Very willing to listen to questions and explain things quickly.
All work to date has been completed with high quality and we plan to use Wacker for all of our future plumbing needs.

Larry, the technician, was on time, professional, courteous, and informative.  What impressed me most was that he worked very quickly to meet the half-hour charge, when he could have easily taken the extra time and charged significantly more.  I will not hesitate to consult Wacker Plumbing for future plumbing needs.

The response to my request was very prompt and the team came out as scheduled. Certain work was delayed as we had to have the under mount sink attached to the vanity separately but the Whacker team came out promptly within the next 2 days to finish the job. 
The team worked quickly and did a professional job. Although the price was higher than expected, we did not ask for a formal estimate up front - but were very happy with the work and would use Whacker again.

Work performed as agreed upon within very reasonable period of time.  He also dealt with the inspector for us and offered advice and tips.

I got 6 estimates for re-piping my mother's townhome to replace problematic polybutylene pipes (those gray plastic pipes)with copper.  These ranged from companies that specialized in re-piping, to traditional plumbers to remodel plumbers (which is what Wacker is).
I ultimately selected Wacker based on the quality of the estimate, the professionalism of the owner during the estimating process and the fact that as a remodel contractor they would handle the plumbing as well as the drywall and paint.
First off - repiping is one of those jobs that is a)messy, and b)not that satisfying when done.  Your best result when finished is that everything looks and works the same way it did before.  If they do the job right, you should not know they were there.
The entire job was smooth and pretty flawless from start to finish:
--They showed up on time, as scheduled and every day during the work
--They protected the floors with tarps, put up sheeting to minimize dust, moved furniture and covered with dust cloths anything they couldn't move
--The overall workmanship was neat and professional.
--They cleaned up at the end of each day
--They made sure my mother always had at least one working bathroom at the end of each day.
The plumbing passed inspection on the first try (I know that should go without saying, but sometimes inspectors are finicky.
The repair work to the drywall was phenomenal, and they were able to match the paint perfectly.  In cases where the patch was one area of a wall, they painted the entire wall.  
Now that the job is done, I can wander through the house, and even tough I know what walls/ceilings had huge holes in them while the repair was happening, you can't tell they were ever there.
The crews were great, the company was truly professional and I am thrilled with the overall quality and workmanship.  When I signed they were not the cheapest - but they were the most professional and made me believe that the extra money was worth it - and based on the finished product, my instincts were dead right on this.
I would gladly use this company again in the future.

Two other repairmen quoted me $200-300 to fix my kitchen sink and to replace my faucet.  Eric came out cleaned the blackflow preventer, and charged 1/2 hour labor rather than a full hour.  He analyzed the situation and made it right without the need to replace the faucet.  Yahoo!

Called other plumbers and got voice mail. Called Wacker at 11 am and they were there at 3 pm the same day. Work was very well done and the price for parts and labor were reasonable. You can't beat same day service ! Larry was excellent and they will get all of my plumbing business in the future.

We have been in the house for 15 years and figured it was time to check the plumbing fixtures.  The technician did that and repaired only what was necessary.  In several cases where we thought something might be worn, he checked it and found it to be fine.  There was no effort to over-sell and every emphasis was on quality of work and service.  They are now "our plumbers."

Very well. I was expecting them to cut holes in my walls but Jamal was able to run a line through the floor boards instead. This technique was more efficient and  saved me from fixing 2 holes in my walls. I will hire them again for future jobs.

I was delighted that they were able to schedule my work the same day I called!  Brian arrived right on time and got started right away.  He fixed (replaced) it within a short time and was very professional, and it's been working great.  I would absolutely use them again.  I had talked to other plumbing companies about the issue and they made it sound so daunting but Wacker made it so easy.  I am happy to recommend them to others.

This company was recommended by my regular heating/cooling/plumbing provider who was overwhelmed with AC work.  Called them at 4:00 PM and they were available the next day.  Scheduled window was 2-4 PM...crew arrived 30 minutes early.  Did not call ahead, so I wasn't there to meet them.  They waited until I arrived and went right to work.  This crew was all business.  Not a lot of conversation, but told me what was necessary.  Neat and clean...no mess and they cleaned up after themselves.  Only surprises...I had to ask them to walk me through the control pane before sign-off.  In retrospect, the price seems a bit high given the product installed (AO Smith brand)...but I couldn't wait to shop around and I trusted the recommendation of my regular provider.  I would definitely call them again if I needed service, but would take the time to compare pricing before hiring.

They replaced what needed to be replaced whereas another wanted  over $800 to fix the same problem.

The plumber showed up on time. He was very upfront about the costs and the amount of time required to do the job. He also provided the required permit. The plumber made sure the grill worked and made sure we knew how to operate it. The plumber was very friendly, courteous, and professional.

When turning on the water to the outside spigot, a copper pipe burst in an interior wall. It was in a very awkward place behind an access cover. Wacker Plumbing replaced the bad section with new copper and avoided damaging any drywall. The tech also showed me how to bleed the shut-off valve in the future to ensure all water was drained from the pipe for the winter. We have used Wacker Plumbing for many years for lots of jobs, and they have always done a great job. They keep at it until they find the problem and ensure that it is fixed correctly.

Wacker Plumbing is the most responsible and reasonable plumber in the area.  They do it right.  Thanks!

Exceeded all my expectations with the initial visit.
Prompt, courteous, efficient and made a final adjustment to the water pressure all within a couple of hours.
Overall an excellent experience and will be contacting them to quote a restoration effort in the bathroom.

Professional-

Called at 7am because of no hot water and leaking water heater. Dispatcher ensured he had necessary information and then rescheduled workload to address our problem. They had a team on-site by 8:30. Lead technician examined the heater to ensure it was defective and then brought in needed supplies and the new heater. They covered our basement carpet to allow in and out with the new and old heater and movered some boxes and toys to facilitate access. As they drained the remaining water in the heater they discovered the sump pump was not working - troubleshot it but a new pump was required . Added pump replacement to the call. Had to dig gravel out of the sump left by the original installer. The team was courteous, informative and efficient. Overall an excellent experience.

Brian was easy to work with, inspired confidence, and conducted himself with professionalism.  He completed all the repairs in a straightforward manner that made it easy for us to believe that he knew what he was doing and the repairs would be done correctly.  We have had experiences with plumbers in the past that went badly from the beginning and only got worse from there.  With Wacker Plumbing, it well from the beginning and got better from there.  Will use again.  Very happy with the service.
