TruGreen Lawn Care - 5110

I had them for over 20 years now and they're very good, it's always been excellent and I have the nicest lawn in the whole area.

They forgot appointment and I had to check if they were coming back. They only sent reminders the morning they were coming to spray, and with the latest treatment, they killed 60% of my lawn. So I cancelled the remainder of my treatment. What I thought was a deal for one year ended up costing me over $2000 to redo my lawn. They obviously don't know how to treat lawns in my area. Guess why I never saw them treat any of my neighbors' lawns. Live and learn (a very expensive lesson).

They were always on time and professional. We recommend them to our neighbors.

They came out to kill weeds.  They seem to be light on their application.  They can use some improvement.  In their defense you can get them to come back for a 2nd treatment if needed.  They are about average for pricing but I think it's a bit high.  I probably will continue with them for awhile, but not sure I'd recommend them to anyone.

We have a contract with them, so they come out to do fertilizing, it's a total of eight treatments for the year. They were probably out here two weeks ago. You can pay one time for the year or you can pay per service. They come when they say they're going to come. Just one person comes to complete the work. It takes approximately an hour to complete. I've used other companies before for the same job. TruGreen has the best price, and they're very responsive, I don't have any issues. All they do is stick a little yard sign on to say they've been there, so yeah there's no problem with leaving a mess. They call the day before they come. If I have issues with recurring weeds they will come back for free and treat those areas. They're very professional, they seem very knowledgeable. They came out and did an assessment of my yard and what it would benefit from. Just like I say they're the best price around.

I had a decent yard, grass, re-seeded grass and they killed it. I have no idea how, whatever chemical they did, did not mix well with my yard, my grass. It killed my grass, instead of better grass, I got worse grass. In fact, I going to have to re-sod my yard at this point. They’re very nice, but killing the yard. I would never use them, never recommend them, in fact I would tell people to stay away from them.

First time using them was in 2000.  Price goes up every year.

They get an “A” across the board. It is $1,600 a year.

I just wrote a long complaint but it was lost when I hit the back arrow in the browser by mistake. That loss of my writing doesn't really matter. I’m wishing that our fellow customers don’t waste time and money as I’ve done. I spent almost an hour imparting constructive suggestions not criticism of how I've been deceived and calmly explain to supervisor and their supervisors… All I wanted to do was cancel one or two services . As a consequence of their crack training, I asked the third supervisor to cancel all my services and subtract what they think I owe for the service. And refund the remaining prorata. I was told that they could not promise to do that. She could not even provide her last name (assuming she knows it) nor her employee number. I might be forgiven for thinking that she was trying to remain anonymous in the case of non positive feedback. We use TruGreen.  They were out here this week.  It cost like $90 or somewhere around there.  They try to up sell you.  When they say they're going to be here their here.  I've never had any problems with the guys that come out.  We will probably not use them in the future because we're moving into a town house that has no yard so I don't think we'll have a yard again.

Receiving weed treatments but I still have weeds dandelions are still growing and blooming in my yard. I haven't as of yet gotten a change to speak with a supervisor about the non-results from these treatments. I would like for them to meet with me and explain to me what is going on with my lawn instead of being very dismissive

My lawn would look better, it's just not coming into spring the way I would like it to, they are consistent.
