The team was great and very thorough, also very pleasant to work with.  They did an extra treatment on our bathtub which was great.  I'd hire them again but their quote for ongoing service was $100 more than any other providers we tried out so it's not feasible for us.

We have had Ines and her crew cleaning our house for about five years now and they are terrific! They are punctual and I always know the people in my house; it is not a different group every time. They are especially patient with our excitable dog. Ines has been flexible if I need to reschedule and she responds to email later that day. They are careful and respectful of our home. Everything is spotless when they leave. I don't know what we would do without them.

Nice and Neat Cleaning Service did an excellent job cleaning from baseboards to ceiling.  The crew arrived exactly on time and got right to work.  Each of the four individuals was professional and capable, and everyone worked incredibly hard at cleaning everything we asked of them.  When they left, the house was glowing.
The proprietor, Ms. Ines Portugal, was polite, responsive, and dedicated.  This is exactly the kind of contractor that people on Angie's List look for.  We would (and will) use Nice and Neat again.  Their competence and trustworthiness really put them a cut above.

I have been using this company for over a year.  Ines is very nice, professional, and very responsive over email.  They are very flexible about timing.  The house always looks and smells really nice after they leave.  They are really efficient - with the full crew they can get the whole house done in about 45 minutes.

They are very professional and friendly. Ines communicates via email which is helpful if you need to reschedule or request anything special. I selected them because they use natural cleaners rather than chemicals.

Ines, her husband and all of the ladies with her were very respectful and trustworthy. They did a good job for a fair price. From our initial meeting I felt like Ines listened to my needs and provided the service that I requested as opposed to having a set format with no deviations. She used environmentally friendly cleaners.  I appreciate the help she has provided me in maintaining a clean environment for my family.

We've been working with Nice and Neat Cleaning for the last two years to clean our house. ines, the owner is always there, and the crew has been more or less the same over this period. Which to me is a big deal in terms of trust. Ines is super responsive and scheduling has never been a problem, they will do what they can to accommodate. 4 of them come for the most part, so they're done in a reasonable amount of time.
The cleaning itself is great and pretty consistent. And they are very amenable to feedback. The pricing is reasonable without any gimmicks, so I appreciate the simplicity of it all.

Fabulous! They do an excellent job!

They (Ines and Jose) are a husband and wife team that are punctual, professional, and courteous. They provided an estimate on Friday evening and then performed the cleaning the next day. They were very thorough and meticulous with their cleaning. The microwave and oven looked like new upon completion. The bathrooms were a level of clean that I have not seen in a while. I highly recommend them. I have used several cleaners on a variety of properties and they stood out among all of them.

We have used this company for several months and are very satisfied  with them.  The employees are mostly members of one family and they show up to work together.  They are careful, efficient and thorough. They always check with us to make sure we're satisfied before they leave. 
The owner is very friendly and has been flexible in scheduling around  conflicts.  Give them about a 15 minute window around scheduled times,  as if they say noon it means between 11:45-12:15.  That's still pretty good and better than other companies we've tried.  We've tried at least six other companies over the past three years and Nice and Neat is the one we decided to continue using.

I was very pleased. Inez and her three assistants arrived right on time on Saturday morning as arranged. They were on time, ready to clean, and brought their own supplies. They started upstairs and moved from room to room as a group so I always knew where they were working and could stay out of their way. They were polite, friendly, respectful of my house and its contents. I was impressed when Inez called my attention to a ceramic thimble that had fallen off the shelf in my display case during the 2011 earthquake and broken - I hadn't bothered to remove it at the time, and because it was hidden behind the door frame I had forgotten about it. She wanted to be sure I was aware of it in case I might think her crew had broken it. I appreciate that attention to detail, and I respect her concern as a business owner. The crew was in my house about 3 1/2 hours and when they were done my house was so much cleaner and really nice. I have multiple cats, so I have alot of cat hair and cat litter despite my best efforts. Nice and Neat wiped down the base boards and corners so even those were clean. They were careful to keep my cats inside, and allowed them to get away before beginning to run the noisy vacuum cleaner. It was a good cleaning experience. I've had other services and independent people clean for me before, with mixed results, and this was one of the better cleaning jobs and one of the more careful services.
The ONLY thing I'd change is something I should have handled better myself. I have two antique dolls displayed in my livingroom. People who don't know antiques or who don't love dolls often see dolls as children's toys and may not know how to handle them properly or realize they are old and fragile. I had removed one doll but neglected to remove the larger doll. One cleaning crew member attempted to polish the chair she was sitting in, and was moving the doll from side to side to polish around it. I realized what was happening before something awful happened, but I SHOULD have made clear to the crew that the doll was not to be touched or removed it myself. At a minimum, I should have better explained how to handle the doll so that her head was always supported because that's the part that has the value and wouldn't be replaced. So I put this on myself, but I offer a cautionary story to others who use ANY cleaning service to be sure to make your requirements known up front OR take mitigating actions before the crew arrives. I should have known better. The doll didn't break, and for that I'm very grateful. It would have been a huge expense and a large insurance liability for me and the cleaning crew.

Nice and Neat Cleaning Service always shows up when they are supposed to. They are accommodating and friendly. They communicate with their customers in a professional manner.

IT went great - Ines is very professional and responsive.  They did a thorough job ( After the first cleaning I pointed out one  or two small things I was used to having cleaned that they didnt do...and after that they did it every time).   Easy to be in the house with if I was home at the time.  I chose them because they had good reviews on Angies list..they were the first cleaning company I called and I liked them so I didn't comparision shop..so I can't say how  their price compares to others..  They only reason I stopped using them is my college age daughter moved back home to go to community college - so she is doing the cleaning as part of her contribution to the household.

Ines, the owner was professional throughout the whole process.  I coordinated with her a time to stop by and give me an estimate.  She was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls.  I accepted her estimate and had her come for a deep cleaning the first time ... again everyone showed up on time and the quality of the work was fantastic.  Now she is coming every two weeks and I remain very pleased with the results ... both the quality of the work and with the communication that Ines offers regarding any questions that you have.

Ines insisted that she come to estimate, which was good because it would have been hard to describe the work. She gave me an estimate of $170, which did not include vacuuming the rugs. I was going to vacuum but my back was hurting, so I added in vacuuming (deep vacuuming) later. It was going to add on about 25-50. I ended up giving more because of the fantastic job they did. I passed my inspection without any problem. I had tried to get the tub glistening before, but they did it. Everything was spotless. Also, I had left more in the apartment than I thought and they just worked around me as I cleared the rest of the stuff out. Ines, her husband and other worker were very personable and a joy to meet. She also gave me tips on products to use.

Ines and her crew are professional, prompt, thorough and a pleasure to work with. I've used other services before and been annoyed to continually find the workers sitting in another room chatting on their cell phones or simply unresponsive. Inez's group comes in and sets straight to work with no distractions. They are quick and thorough and very friendly. I especially like the way they interact with my cats. I would recommend them to anyone.

UPDATE:
I wrote this review back in 2010.  It is now 2013 and I continue to be pleased with Ines's service.  I will be leaving them soon, as I'll be moving out of their work area.  I just want to reinforce my initial review.  Nice and Neat Cleaning has always happily met any special requests and schedule changes I’ve made.  They are a pleasure to work with and I hope they flourish in their current business.

Ines was extremely responsive and professional. She was FANTASTIC. She came to give me the estimate and then was able to fit me into her schedule on a last minute request because my Mom was coming to visit me the next day. She and her husband did a WONDERFUL job cleaning my home. My only complaint is the cost. $180 for my tiny 1 bedroom with a den. That's double what I've paid with others, but Ines is very detail oriented and takes great pride in her work! Wonderful!

I could not have been more pleased. On short notice, my tenants asked to move in a bit early. I was happy to oblige but I needed to get the house cleaned prior to their arrival. Ines responded immediately, worked me into her schedule the next day, arrived on time, did a great job and was very reasonable in her price. While I did not get to see her work first hand, the tenants - a professional couple, were quite pleased. I would absolutely use her again.

Ines was extremely pleasant to talk to on the phone and while at my apartment, and she had gone to some effort to fit me into her schedule that week. I'd called hoping she could get me in within a few days, and she was able to get me in the day after I called. It took them about an hour longer than predicted to do the job, but my apartment was completely clean and fresh when they were done. I was thrilled with the result and pleased at her reasonable prices. Since she didn't have time to come to my place to make an estimate in person, I was completely fine with increasing her fee a bit due to the longer time involved. It was much more important that she managed to get me into her schedule in the short time I had allowed.

Ines and her husband Jose are an absolute pleasure to work with. From initial contact via email to a prompt response to schedule time for a quote that day, Ines sets the standard for professionalism. I'll be frank - my house was a disaster following all the contractors coming in - saw dust everywhere, tracks on the floors and messy bathrooms. Unphased, Ines didn't charge me a premium and she and her team did an amazing job of getting the house ready for visitors who were coming in later during the day. I've worked with approximately 25 contractors ranging from cleaning to landscaping to painting to flooring to you name it and Ines puts them all to shame on the combined scale of price, time, and quality. You'll be thrilled by what you get working with her and I can't recommend her enough.
