They are very effecient and thorough.  I am not there when they work but trust them to be in my home when I am not there.

We are using this maid service for a few years now. The maids are punctual  and they spend the time to do a good job on each visit. If we have a special request they are willing to accommodate it right away.

The ladies arrived on time and started cleaning promptly. They attention to detail was pretty good and left the house smell nice and of course clean. I would recommend the company!

The cleaners themselves were prompt and thorough but the office staff (despite my several calls to find out an arrival time) were not good. They never called to let us know what time they would be sending a team and team just showed up and had to wait for me to drive over and let them in.

They did a good job.

I hired Maid to Please for biweekly housecleaning about six months ago. They are very professional, always call the day before the appointment to give a time frame for cleaning the next day. I always look forward to coming home on cleaning day and seeing a sparkling house. i do think the crews may vary appointment to appointment, as sometimes it seems just a little cleaner/fresher than others. But overall I am very satisfied with the service and the price. I know there are a lot of service options out there, but I have never looked into making a change. No need to!

I reached out to this company on 4/28/13 and never heard back. I usually do not write a review on that, but I have been encouraged by Angie's List members that I really should be providing feedback about companies that do not respond to me.

We have been using them for 20 years.  Their service is not good or great.  Their service is just fine, and I am satisfied with it.  They come to us every week.  The people who they send here are really, really nice.  I trust them completely when they come into my house.  I would use them again for sure.

I have been using them for more than a year. They are very reliable and flexible. The cleaning is fairly thorough.

Maid To Please have been very good and very reliable. He is very flexible. If I have to change the date or make other changes he is very good about doing it for me. When I have a question about what I want the girls to be doing he will make sure they understand before coming what I want. He is pretty good. I like them. Sometimes I have had to check with them to make sure things were done and if they weren't I mention it to them. Other than that they have been good. In fact I sent in a review into them, because they asked for a review and I put down excellent. I'd give them As. It is a great price. I got it on a coupon and then we set up for them to come monthly. My apartment is small and I keep it very clean and uncluttered. It is very simple for them to clean and dust. He is very open minded and listens to what I have to say which is the most important thing. They have been fine. I think only one time somebody showed up later than planned, but it was an issue they had and I was home so I was fine with it. They are housekeepers and they do the best they can. They are very thorough in what they do. They have you look around before they checkout and if you have a problem they fix it. The biggest problem is language. They always send someone who speaks English and there is always one person in the group whose English is weaker. I like that they are not here all day long, they come in, and the get the work accomplished. I like that they send 3 people and get it done quickly and for that price.

The first time they came, it went well.  Two weeks later, they called to say that only one person would be available to clean instead of the usual two. This meant that the time to clean would be 4 hours rather than 2.  I said to just forget it for that time, as I couldn't take that much time for them (I didn't want to leave them in the house alone).  But, at 10 the next morning, someone showed up.  They didn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them and explain that I cancelled since it was just one person and would take too much time.  The next time they were scheduled to come, they called the night before to confirm.  They showed up over 2 hours after the window, so they were supposed to be there between 8 and 10, but showed up sometime after 12:30 (after I had gone).  They left a note saying there had been an email issue.  While I was waiting around for the extra two hours, I tried calling (they only have an answering machine on the weekends) and I also left an email.  After four days, I still hadn't heard back from the company so I called to cancel the remaining appointments. When they didn't ask why, I offered up my reasons, and that was that.

UPDATE: After the earlier experience the manager contacted me immediately. We discussed the problem areas and he assigned a different team for future visits. Upon arriving home yesterday, I found the house to be cleaned very well and above expectations.

Overall, the cleaner was pleasant, thorough, professional and quick.  I asked if she could vacuum my loveseat and she kindly obliged.  There was only so much she could do because I had purchased a 2-hour special.

I purchased the Big Deal ($30 for $60 of cleaning service) from Angie's list, and submitted an online quote for the company to clean my 4 bedroom house. I received the quote immediately and was contacted by the company several days later to schedule an appointment. The process was very smooth and pleasant. The day before the cleaning,  the company contacted me to confirm the appointment. Two maids arrived at my house at pre-specified time window, and started cleaning immediately. They were polite, efficient and professional. It took them about 1.5 h to clean my house including one bathroom, and half basement.  I was impressed by how clean my house looked after the cleaning. I will recommend to use them again. Maybe next time I will choose to use environment friendly cleaning products.

I don't understand how y'all get them to even talk to you. I need a move-in cleaning. I emailed them 2 times and called 1 time. 1st time emailed them via their website - no response after 24 hours. Ok no problem. Then I called their NYC office. The lady at the other end of the line sounded very professional and gave me a quote. The quote was very reasonable. However she said their system was being upgraded, and will call me back after 30 minutes to schedule. It has been 5 days without a call. As an eager new customer, I am disappointed needless to say.

Yes, I got an instant estimate using the Maid To Please website. I thought it was a very cool feature by the way. However, the estimate also said for move-in cleaning, I had to call the office for a more accurate quote. That's when I called the office on Dec 6 2012 at 4pm. See my original review above.

2. Calling back or emailing the company after the initial phone call

This is a record of the email I sent Maid To Please on Dec 6, 2012 at 4:51pm. It was after speaking with my building management regarding the need of insurance or not.

"Hi there, 
We just got off the phone, regarding move-in cleaning two apartments. You gave me a quote of $190 for the 950 sq ft apartment. I found out we do not need to submit insurance certificate to the management office. Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx to reschedule when your system has finished upgrades. Thank you."

I have all email records. This is not a misunderstanding. Our correspondence ended with the company telling me they will call me after their system got back up. I even gave the company a benefit of doubt to send a friendly email. As a customer, I don't believe it is my job to pursue any harder for a company to take my business.

They are thorough, courteous, and professional.  We get a phone call reminding us of when they are coming and are flexible to let us add additional one time services/cleaning as necessary.

Did very well--the showed up right in the middle of the time range they gave me with all necessary equipment.  (11-12, showed up at 11:30). They thoroughly cleaned the apartment as requested. Would use again with no hesitation.

They arrived on time, cleaned, and left in under an hour.
