I phoned Land S on a Wed. and left a message describing what I needed. Later that day I received a voicemail from them. I called back and again left a message. No response. I tried to contact then twice more without success and then gave up and hired someone else. We had used Land S several years ago and were quite satisfied. Not this time!!

These guys are great. I have used this company at least 5 times (over the past 5 years) and I am always pleased with their work.

These gentlemen operate not just by the Golden Rule, but by the Platinum Rule: Do unto others as they would have done to themselves. This company is by far the BEST in the BUSINESS! You always get a MASTER at his craft with years of experience and good taste.
The job went superbly as always. Both Brian and Tony arrived as scheduled and got to work quickly. They even brought a closet light to install, not knowing if I had one already, and the exact type of wall switch to match the others in my house. (They must keep a file on customers so that they know what you have and what you'll need.) I had requested a second remote to operate my bedroom fan, but they came prepared as well with the wall control unit and suggested this much better solution. Moreover, they even helped me, busy as they are, open the glass cover on my entryway light so I could change the bulb. I had tried numerous greases, pliers, and rubber gloves to unscrew it, but it wouldn't budge. You would think it would be easy, but they had to remove the fixture from the brick wall and it took both of them pulling on separate parts to unscrew the glass. That took more time than anticipated and they helped with a genuine smile. Note to customers: If they arrived a few minutes behind for your appointment, blame me, not them. They'll give you the same Platinum Care when they are with you.

Outstanding. Brian and Tony were super nice and efficient. They are good at placing the lights based on your needs. I was very happy that they were able to do the work without cutting extra holes in my recently painted ceilings. They only had to cut two small holes in the ceiling of my pantry, which they repaired. Brian even went to the lighting store and purchased a shallower recessed light to fit around an existing drain pipe and 2 lights to go above my showers. All of the lights are high quality, designer looking, and I love them.
I think there prices were reasonable for the quality of work.
I will definitely call them when I'm ready to install recessed lighting in my basement.

Brian is very good at what he does, and it shows. I used Angie’s List because his company received a stellar A rating on there with the only complaints being that he’s hard to contact at times because he’s so popular and booked weeks (if not months) in advance. Indeed, we had to wait 1.5 months to get on his calendar, but his work speaks for itself. He wants to provide customers with a quality service, and his enthusiasm towards his work shows that he cares. He went out of his way to fix a wall socket that wasn’t securely fastened in our wall, which he wasn’t even hired to do. But he did it because he finished the numerous other projects that I hired him for and there were a few extra minutes left before his next job so he offered to take care of it. We’ll be hiring him for a good deal of upcoming electrical work so I will update my comments with a more detailed review once that work is complete, but based on his past performance, I highly recommend Land S!

I can't say enough good things about Brian and Tony and Brian's wife, who schedules appointments. They know what they are doing, do it well, work quickly, are honest and extremely reliable, and provide excellent guidance. They are personable and practical, logical and reasonable, and expert in their field: your dream come true in a professional service provider. It is such a blessing to be able to work with people of integrity. With such standard household jobs, I've had larger companies send over and quot;the new guy.and quot; With Land S, I got the bosses, with years of experience. What more can you ask?

.I have used Land S Electric for years. They are by FAR the best quality and value out there. The only down side is that you have to leave a message with an answering service and they get back to you in 1-2 business days. They also book way in advance. That's not a knock. It's a testament to their quality and value. You just have to plan around it. They may not be the cheapest on the surface, but they do such good work so efficiently, I would have to rate them of the highest value.

The process went well. I was happy with them and they were professional.

The entire job was completed quickly by Brian and his assistant. I was surprised at how quickly the lights were installed. Instead of suggesting that we place 4 recessed lights in 3 of the bedrooms, he honestly recommended that we just use 3 because of the size and configuration of the bedrooms. Another contractor had suggested that we use 4 lights in each room. The 3 lights in each room that Brian installed look great and provide more than enough lighting for the bedrooms.
The installation of the new outlet, cable and phone jacks by the fireplace has greatly improved the appearance in our bedroom. We no longer have cables running along the carpet and floorboard. Another contractor had quoted a price that was nearly twice as much as what we paid Land S Electric. Overall two thumbs up and will use again.

The work went very well. He was on time and spent a considerable amount of time working in the front yard to identify the problem with the landscaping lights. I was prepared give up and we would just continue not to use the lights. He utlimately found the problem after considerable effort and hard work.
The recessed lights were installed quickly and they greatly improve the lighting in our basement bedroom.

All went well. They were later then time I was told but they did call. All supplies were provided work was completed as discussed.

The guy went above and beyond for his work. He found some sockets in the wall that weren't secured. He actually took out his own materials to fix and secure them for us. That was for no extra charge since it was part of what he did when I asked him to fix the rest of the sockets.

We've used Brian of Land S Electric before and were extremely pleased with his work and price then. This time was no different. Simply put, Brian and his assistant are exceptionally good, so much so, that we chose to use them instead of our contractor's electrician. Brian gave us an estimate, returned when the bathroom was gutted and ready for wiring, and returned again to finalize everything. He made solid recommendations, which we acted on, was punctual, reliable, and a genuiine pleasure to work with. His work is meticulous and excellent. He even performed some extras without charge. He gets booked up quickly, so we recommend you line him up early!

It was probably the best experience I have had. I was very happy with them. The workers were incredibly efficient. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They let me know what had to be done. They were very informative and helpful. I would use them in the future.

Tony is a class act. He came out within a day of calling the office to fix this outlet. We needed our dryer ASAP so he came out as soon as he could to replace the dryer outlet. He also found a problem after testing the dryer and really worked with us to get through the problem. The problem was that we needed to get our dryer vent cleaned and he recommended a quick fix until we could get that done. The dryer would have burned up had he not tried it before leaving. He had the forethought to try the dryer before he left. Thank goodness. He is a caring, family man that wants the best for all of his customers.

They offered good ideas for design. They have a long waiting list.

They sent 2 really competent guys, who were really cautiousness about their work. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. They gave great suggestions.

Overall, we were very pleased with everything! I called about a month before to set up the appointment (rather than just having them come out to give me an estimate.) I was given an arrival window of 9:30am-10:30am, and they arrived right around 9:30am. They looked over the area to confirm the problem, talked me through the best way to fix it, and then described in detail what they were planning to do, what materials they would use, and about how long it would take for them to complete the job. They ran a new underground wire to our lammpost and placed this underground wire in a protective hard plastic tube so that accidental landscape digging wouldn't cut the wire. They were very careful so as not to disturb too much of the existing landscaping, and any holes that were dug in the grass were repaired and watered. They tested everything to make sure it all worked and had me come back out to inspect the completed job and asked if I had any other questions or concerns. (They also mentioned that we may have to add a bit of grass seed to some of the disturbed grassy areas, but overall it looks fine.) They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use them again and would HIGHLY recommend them!

The work that they did was fantastic. They are great guys. Not only do they do lovely work but they are really precise and they tidy everything up. One time I had them in the house and I mentioned a little problem that I was having with the electric in my old kitchen and they fixed it for me because they were there. They are really nice guys to have. The only problem I ever have with them is that it can be hard to get them because they are always scheduled far in advance. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
