Excellent! I've been very happy with this arrangement. i've not had major problems with my a/c or furnace because they are cared for.

I recently had John Nugent & Sons replace my original furnace and outdoor AC compressor unit. No one likes to spend the money that major maintenance requires, but I have to say that this was about the best experience I could imagine. First, the people answering the phone were courteous and responsive. I had lots of technical questions and I was transferred to someone who really knew their field and explained the options well. Second, they were able to schedule this much quicker than I expected. They arrived on time and took extreme care not to dirty white carpeting. They had a team of four techs, so the job went along very quickly. Third, the price was right. I shopped around, and while none of this stuff is inexpensive, I believe I got the best deal available, especially considering the level of professionalism. Lastly, they followed up a few days later to make sure everything was fine. They also talked me through the online registration of the components so that I'd have no trouble getting warranty service over the next ten years. To sum it up, I would have no hesitation recommending them to a friend or family member.

We purchased the winter tune up for the furnace; added fireplace and whole house humidifier tuneup, as well as installation of a Nest Learning thermostat. They were responsive and prompt; efficient. No hidden costs or fees, so we purchased an annual service contract. The humidifier was original to the home (1998) and in a very badly placed relationship to the furnace, so we hoped it might last the winter. By the end of December, we realized the humidifier had stopped working (humidity at 25%) and we contacted them. Based on our schedule, they arranged a visit and he did a great job of uninstalling the old, installing the new and repositioning it to be better adapted to the furnace in the confined space. Humidity now at 45% and holding; yah! Humidifier work was $795.00.

Today the service technician replaced the humidifier canister in our basement unit. I have had a contract for my HVAC system with John Nugent & Sons for about 5 years now. I have an Aprilaire 800 whole house humidifier. I also have Aprilaire Air Filters on both zones. We use John Nugent & Sons for all our HVAC maintenance service. I have also used John Nugent to replace faucets in the house and do limited electrical work. Additionally, I have had two gas emergencies at the house -- one at 6 p.m. on a Friday evening and another in the middle of the night and John Nugent sent a technician to my house to fix the problem. I really like John Nugent service and level of professionalism. Their prices are competitive in this area. Their dispatchers are very friendly and accommodative.

John Nugent & Sons were great - very responsive and helpful when I inquired about their services and scheduling an appointment. The repairman was very friendly and professional. He was prompt, took his time to explain the probable cause of the leak and then fixed the issue quickly. I am unable to comment about the pricing since the owner of the unit above me paid for the service. I would use their services again, no question.

Technician decided not to use the $49. Angie's List Diagnostic Service Call Big Deal which I had purchased and instead offered a Gold Two System Inspections a year contract. I have asked the manager to call me when he returns next week to go over this since I had discussed this with the office when the appointment was originally set up and they even confirmed that they were returning for the same issue in less than one year. They should have advised me to purchase the $79 for a Seasonal Gas Furnace or Air-Conditioner Tune-Up Big Deal. Will update including my grading when I hear back next week.

Furnace wouldn't stay on - cycled on & off; house getting cold. Called Nugent and they got someone here. We called late in the evening, and Technician came that same evening; we were very appreciative! Furnace fixed before he left; still working fine. The Technician was courteous, professional, friendly and helpful ! Highly recommended.

Jonathan was punctual. He was courteous and mindful of our house. He was thorough checking all possibilities before deciding on the source of the problem. He was meticulous in cleaning up after him self and leaving the work area better than he found it. He also gave us some tips to consider with regard to our older water heater. I will contact the company again when we are ready to replace the water heater with a more efficient model.

Work performed was per the big deal advertisement. They did not use it as an opportunity to get a foot in the door to try to sell other services or equipment, which big deal sellers often do, particularly the maintenance/inspection ones.
