They did a great job. They are a great company. There are plenty of HVAC providers but not that many that do as good of job of John Nugent and son's. I'd recommend them.

Had an excellent experience with this contractor. All their personnel were polite, punctual, professional and friendly. Communication and scheduling was a breeze. On the day of the install the crew arrived on time and got right to work. This replacement was for my attic system and they were very careful not to damage my house when removing the old equipment and carrying the new equipment to the attic. They laid canvas drop cloths to protect my flooring all the way through my house from the front door up the stairs and down the hall to the attic access. They installed a complete new Carrier Infinity 18VS system and it works perfectly. All the work was neat and clean and they explained everything to me before they left. Their price was comparable to all the other estimates I received but it was for a nicer system so I would rate their price as the best. I am very happy with this contractor and will definitely use them for all my future HVAC repairs/replacements.

I have aluminum wiring in my house, so you have to be careful of somebody installing a new appliance, like a hot water heater. You have to be careful about the aluminium to copper connection, otherwise you can get a fire in a couple of years. After the hot water installation, I had him come by to check the wiring to make sure it was safe. I guess many years ago, the person that installed the hot water heater replacement didn't put a certain chemical in the junction. About a year later I almost had a fire, but fortunately the circuit breaker cut the power. So now, I check. The whole thing was an "A". It was good, quality work. It took them less than an hour. They sent out a licenced electrician, which is what I wanted.

Booked an appointment for the same day I called, which was fantastic. Great service, the plummer was very thorough and took time to explain things to me. Will always come back to John Nugent & Sons.

It went well. The work was done quickly and correctly and Mr. Gilbert was very nice.

The whole process was very smooth, from diagnosing the issue and seeing if there was a repair to be made first, which they said they could but it would just break again soon anyway due to system age, to not recommending the top costing unit but one that made sense for the space to be cooled, to the installation process.

Jason came in to take a look at our old AC system because our house wouldn't cool down below 78 degrees. He was extremely pleasant to work with as he was thorough in explaining why the AC was not working properly and what needed to be done. Even after the work was performed and his service paid, he answered all our questions and kept it professional. Now our AC can keep our house cool under 75 almost in an instant. Hopefully we won't have to call him again, but if we have to, we'd love to work with Jason again in the future.

It was quite satisfactory. It was an appropriate amount.

Fine, although the real test is whether the A/C holds up through the whole summer. So far, so good, but only time will really tell.

They came, they saw and they fixed the issue that was causing the drain overflow.

We really liked their service. They gave us a quick, detailed, and accurate quote. Their price was quite reasonable. They did not try to up sell us, and only sold us what we needed. What they quoted us, is what we ended up paying. Everyone came when they said they were going to come, and called in advance. They even wore booties when they came in the house (Covered their shoes). Everything was neatly installed, and has been working great so far. It was all done properly.

Based on the Angie's list ratings, I hired them in 2012 when I had a pipe that cracked behind a wall. Recently, a pipe cracked right next to the one that had a leak in 2012. They did a great job for a fair price in 2012, so I called them again. They went to a full electronic invoicing system, versus the paper invoice I received in 2012, and all prices are now based off of codes they input in their mobile device to generate the invoice. The price to repair the leak had more than doubled, and since they were already at my place, I reluctantly paid. I should've shopped around instead of going off of a past experience.

It is just the one in the attic. We are fine it is not am emergency, but they have been really good. It is a big house and a big unit, and like I said they were working in the attic. They had a good reputation. I called them and they got someone right out. I think there were at least 4 people. They have drop cloths all the way up the stair case and into the hall. They are great.

Scheduled an appointment. Tech arrived on time to assess my requirements. Came back the next day...on time..and installed everything. Quick, efficient, outstanding service.

They came out 3 times.? I didn't have hot water, they came out again, and then they replaced the water heater.? I have been using John Nugent for a long time, less than 10 years. Originally the pilot light wouldn't go on. The pilot light went out so he turned it on and he checked the furnace and changed the filter.? Then the next day, the pilot light went out again. So he came back.? He didn't charge me the second time.? Then the third time, finally, it was hey, this needs to be replaced.? That's my third or fourth hot water heater.? This is the first time they've done it.? I call him for plumbing also.? They always do a good job.? They always send nice people.

Sean did a an amazing job. On a night when I was literally bailing water from my flooding basement and flash floods in the area were making every plumber get phone calls well into the early AM hours, I tried to get a hold of several emergency plumbers. I tried John Nugent first, but got no answer. So, I called several others. "All Plumber" finally came but decided he didn't want to help and literally just left (never hire All Plumber). I tried John Nugent again and got Sean. He was like, "hey did you call earlier, sorry if I missed it." Ok, I was like, "Sean I need help now!" He was there within the hour (about 3:30 AM). He promptly identified several sump pump system issues and professionally fixed them. He was gone by 6:00 AM, and my disaster was averted. And for coming at 3:00 AM they only charged $98 extra, which I thought was pretty fair, Great work Sean and John Nugent & Sons! I remain a loyal customer.

They responded with short notice. The mechanic they sent, Mitch, was very thorough, friendly, and did a wonderful job. He called to let me know when he'd be here. He replaced the gas control valve, and installed a new gas cutoff valve. I highly recommend John Nugent and Sons for their service, and professionalism. They consistently do good work, at reasonable rates, are honest and dependable.

The representatives of John Nugent & Sons provided a thorough description of the service to be performed at the time of the estimate. They were courteous, professional and detailed in their explanation of everything they did during the water heater installation.

They could probably make improvements with price. If you have an AC unit and its out and its hot at that time of the month then you are not left with a whole lot of options to shop around.

He was thorough in assessing the problem, patiently and clearly explained everything he was doing, and gave us a quote that seemed fair. We did not get a second opinion as he seemed knowledgeable and was ready to start the work in a reasonable timeframe. He arrived the following Monday as planned and worked hard for the 5 or 6 hours he was here. He was easy to work with, professional, and the job looks neat and smells gas-free! Thanks, Mark!

The experience was very good. I was happy with the work done.

Of course, it was a 90+degree day, and our AC system broke. Also, we had family arriving to spend the weekend with us. This was not a problem for Nugent & Sons...they arrived the next morning, spent the day replacing our broken unit, and within a short time, the house was cool and comfortable and ready to go. Their service is A++++! The technicians and customer service rep provided the best service and advice on how to best solve our problem. John Nugent & Sons will always be our go-to company!
