They do electrical work for me on occasion. The price depends on what I am having done. They charge about $100 an hour. They are very reliable and they will fit me in for emergencies. I will continue to use them.

The woman who I initially spoke to was helpful and assured me someone would be out by the end of the day to look at the problem. The technician that came was so nice and helpful and diagnosed and fixed the problem within no time. We were so pleased by the whole experience and would definitely call again if we needed some electrical work done, although, we hope we won't anytime soon ;)

The two men arrived right on time and got to work. The installation of the ceiling fan in my office went perfectly, as did the installation of the hall ceiling light and the chandelier in the den. The lead installer then asked about the fan in the master bedroom -- it seemed I had forgotten to order a downrod and he thought it might be missing. Thankfully he had not begun the installation. About three weeks later, once I got the downrod, he came back and completed the installation. For the time involved, the cost was very reasonable; the total cost for both visits was $590 but it would have been less had they been able to do it all in one visit - my mistake.
After the second visit and the final fan installation, I noticed the fan was making a noise at a high speed. I phoned and he came back out (no charge) -- one of the fan blades was slightly misaligned and he was able to fix it quickly and easily.
This company is professional, stands by their work, and the electricians were efficient, clean, and courteous. We had actually used this company several years ago and we would use them again. (The company even sent a thank-you note.) I highly recommend them!

Fantastic service. Mike and Joe were able to quickly run a new cable outlet box form our family room to living room. Somehow they to and quot;fishand quot; the line without having to damage any drywall in our finished basement. Pure magic. They were quick, cleaned up and very professional.
This is the second time I've used Huntington and I will continue to call them first for any electrical issue.

We have been using Huntington for many years. From the time you place your call and speak to Andrew who asks all the right questions so that the service consultant has all the necessary materials to the moment your service consultant leaves you are treated with the utmost professionalism and consideration of your belongings. Huntington has serviced our outdoor lighting for many years. This year there was more work than usual as a couple of the light fixture interiors needed to be replaced. Of course, the fixture itself no longer quite matched the interiors but our reps were able to and quot;jury rigand quot; and the fixture works as good as new. Our dining room chandelier is an old chandelier of heavy brass (25lbs or so). Takes two to take it down. Great job!

The electrician arrived on time. He brought the required parts and installed them competently and courteously.

With the very first call to Huntington, I was impressed. The person on the phone asked a number of questions about the project and offered advice which, was excellent. The work was conveniently scheduled early in the morning so that I did not have to schedule a day off of work. The technician arrived a bit early, which was great. He showed me exactly what he was going to do; advised as to pluses and minuses and ensured that the work was going to meet my expectations. The initial request was for the external lights. Once he finished that work he asked if there was anything else which he could do in 15 minutes or so. I showed him the internal light and he completed that replacement quite quickly. Very pleased and will recommend Huntington and I will use them again.

I don't remember how much I spent on their services. I will use them again in the future if I need to.

They got the job done and everything went according to plan. It looks great and it worked. I have already called them up and have more jobs for them.

They are really good. They even send you thank you notes after you use their service. I certainly like Angus. He is very polite when answeing the phone. There hasn't been a project that they haven't been able to do. I don't have anyone to compare their price with.

One time I was having a party and I got in a bind and they got over here right away. They are real accommodating to my schedule. They get the work done at a reasonable price. I will absolutely use them again.

The situation was somewhat urgent, as the refrigerator had lost power due to the blown GFI outlet. Mike was available about an hour after my initial call, fortuitously en route to another job near by. He found the fridge connected to the load side of the GFI and reconnected the wiring correctly so that it would have constant power, while replacing the GFI circuit.
$32 materials and $95 labor, done in under an hour.
He also pulled the refrigerator out and checked its outlet to ensure it was working properly while he was there.
Responsive, friendly, and efficient.

I've been working with Huntington Electric for over six years and I can say, without hesitation, that I would not use any other electricians for my house. Blair and his crews are highly skilled, professional, and incredibly responsive. They have done the smallest jobs like changing or adding outlets, to more extensive indoor lighting design, lighting and wiring for kitchen renovations, and will soon be redesigning the outdoor lighting for my front and back yards. Their meticulous attention to detail makes their work above and beyond any other electrician that I have hired and I have recommended them to many friends who hold them in the same regard. As a long time customer, they were the first ones I called when I recently bought a new house. I was so impressed by the way Blair and his senior electricians were on my doorstep--the very first day I moved in-- to familiarize themselves with every electrical issue in my house to ensure function and safety. Over the summer, they added spectacular updates to and redesigned the lighting scheme, as well as handled all the functional needs of rewiring for an HVAC relocation and kitchen renovation. I am most impressed, however, with both the professional and personal integrity demonstrated by Blair and his crews. They genuinely take pride in their work and it shows. More importantly, I fully trust everyone at that company. When done competently, electrical work is extremely complicated and inherently pricey. Nonetheless, I've worked with Huntington Electric for so long now, that I don't need to "bargain shop" for lower quotes, especially with something as important as electrical work. If Blair gives me a quote for a project, then I trust that is what it costs to get the job done right. In all my years of hiring Huntington, I have never encountered a problem with any work they have performed, which is more than I can say for the work done with previous electricians and other similar trades. Overall, I would trust any electrical issue to this company and will continue to work with them in the future.

The work was done professionally and went beyond the electrical code requirements. The county inspector, in fact, was very impressed with the level of performance and the quality of the work done by Huntington Electric. Blair, the president of Huntington Electric, walked through with us prior to the start of installation the location of all outlets and lighting, and discussed with us our options. The installation was done in a timely and professional manner, and we are able to set the lighting at levels we want for the specific occasion. In addition, Blair Electric has completed other jobs for us such as fan installation and panel upgrades. In almost all instances this work was outstanding; when it was not and an error was made, Blair made sure that everything was fixed to our satisfaction. (In fact, it was Blair's response to one error by one of his employees that makes me very comfortable to recommend him.) I am always comfortable and confident that a job by Huntington Electric will be done right.

When I contacted Huntington Electric, they were prompt in coming out to give me an estimate and made very helpful suggestions on the best ways to accomplish the work that I wanted done. After the estimate, things moved a little slow in getting a day set up for the work to be done, but once a date was decided on they showed up promptly and completed the work in an efficient and neat manner. The cable box was moved to the new location and the lines run with only a couple of small holes cut into the interior drywall. After the wires were run the technician did a great job of patching the holes. The old light fixtures were carefully removed and replaced neatly and quickly. I was very pleased with the service provided. All of the work was completed as I expected. I was especially pleased with the quality of the patch work done on the walls after the job was completed and the clean-up done by the crew as well. They completed the job and didn't leave me a mess to clean up. I have more electrical work that I'd like to have completed in the future and I will definitely consider using Huntington Electric Co. again.

They were recommendation from a friend. They were very prompt and they spent a lot of time with me on the phone discussing options. They came in lower than other estimates. The electrician who was out here was here for about 6 hours and just worked very hard and efficiently. He fixed things and he kind of went over and above what I had expected as far as performance. He explained everything to me before he did it. They were great.

They are great! They do great work, and their prices are very competitive. They are very friendly, reliable, and interested in pleasing you and completing the work to your satisfaction.

I was deeply disappointed. Once i told him to go ahead w/ the work, he practically doubled the price!! My two issues are: 1) it took him about a week to return my repeated calls which he blamed on his staff (unprofessional) 2) I felt he was trying to rip me off - he quoted me $750 to install customer supplied fan. Then, over a week later, he told me that it would be $1325 to do the same job! NOTE: i factored out the cost of the fan, it cost $500 and i was going to supply. He gave me no choice and told me it was going to cost $1825. This is $575 more than I was initially led to believe (750 + 500 = 1250) When i questioned him on this, he said, 'I think you should get another price' . The two other quotes I got were 700 and 900, so i am happy to do so!

I had a light fixture put up in my bathroom with GFI protection. I was given a time window for arrival and the technician showed up within that time frame. Almost as soon as he arrived he started talking about taking more time to do the GFI wiring and telling me it would be an additional cost. I explained that my estimate was based on the GFI wiring and if it was going to be more time than I would need to cancel. I even spoke with Andrew before the technician had started the work to discuss the circumstance and he said the quote was a ballpark figure, but as long as it was 2 hours the price should be $200. The GFI came up during this time and Andrew did not say anything about additional money for the materials because this was not a new issue. The technician actually completed the job in 1 hr. 45 min. I was not concerned about the extra 15 minutes I was paying for, but they insisted on charging me nearly $39 more. When I called Andrew to discuss it he tried to rationalize that he did not account for the GFI, but I know that is not true because we discussed it previously. I am upset because I could have gotten someone else to do the job for $200 (I have a written estimate) and I feel I was forced to overpay even though the job took less time. Plus, I was told I would be charged less for less time and that obviously did not happen. I feel the estimate should have been honored and I am upset that I was obviously lied to.

My husband and I have been planning for a long time to install a ceiling fan/light fixture in one of the bedrooms. Although there was no pre-wiring done by the builder, my husband felt that he could do the job. As he researched it more though and read up on it, he realized that it was best to contact an electrician and so I did. Blair at Huntington Electric gave me an amazing price quote immediately over the phone and then offered to come out the next day to do the job! I was sold! When Huntington Electric showed up to do the job, my husband was still very curious about the process and the electrician was patient in answering all of my husband's questions and allowing him to be a shadow. When everything was done, the ceiling fan/light fixture looked beautiful, the work looked impeccable, and there was no mess!

When we replaced the main water line into the house the inspector discoved that there was no electrical ground wire on the pipe. I called and the next day the same electrician who had done work a month earlier on other things in my house came back. He measured the distance to the breaker box, went out breifly to get supplies and then wired the ground. He was neat, pleasant, and he pointed out a tiny leak in the newly installed plumbing. Another excellent job! And within a couple days of the work I always get a "thank-you" card in the mail--nice touch.

Quick and professional.

A contractor in my home noticed exsisting electrical work that was not to code while doing his work. I called Huntington to come out and correct the problem. They sent two men immediately. (They arrived within 20 minutes!) I asked them to correct the problem that had been found and while they were there I asked them to check recessed lights and a dimmer switch that the same previous contractor had installed. Everything was not to code and potentially dangerous and they corrected everything. The original contractor had even put in the wrong lightbulbs (too many watts) and they told me exactly what I needed to go out and buy. They were pleasant and cleaned everything up nicely when they were finished. When they were out in the truck writing up the ticket I remembered the previous contractor had replaced two existing lights in my kitchen and even though the bill was done they came back in to check those lights cheerfully. An outstanding experience.

Great. They were running a little late, but they called to keep me informed. Mike came to my house and was very professional. You felt like you could trust him and not get ripped off.
