I was nervous about having someone come in because there seem to be so many shady folks out there.  I called Door Doctor because of the Angie's reviews.  I called at a 10am on a Saturday and they were here by 2pm.  Half hour later they were finished and gone.  Courteous, professional, and fast.  Really wish I could give reviws like this all the time.

They did an great job. The new door and opener work and look great.

Swept up after the job, the garage was cleaner then when they started!

Qucik response - came out next day. They initially gave me a time window that they would be at the house and they called me 30 min before they actually arrived so I could go to work and and still be home for the appointment. The person doing the work was very friendly, professional, and quickly finished the task. Appproximate cost above includes an Angie's list member discount.

Door Doctor installer arrived punctually and the installation took less than a couple hours. The person was completely professional and well experienced.  Everything worked smoothly. We're very satisfied.

I called Door Doctor on February 2 and was able  to schedule an appointment for February 3.   They were kind enough to give me a ring 45 minutes before they headed out to my house, which gave me time to leave work to meet up with them.   Everything was handled in the most professional manner, from my first call to set up the appointment to my paying the bill.    I would use them again in a heart beat.   They were great to work with.

They were fantastic and met my schedule.

The technician quickly discovered that it was not the switch but something blocking the electric eye.  The door worked perfectly once the eye's line of sight was restored.  I felt like an idiot for not discovering this myself, but the technician assured me that this is a common occurrence that frequently is hard to detect.  Despite my insistence that I should pay for the service call, he declined to make any charges.  How often does that happen?  Thanks, Door Doctor!

Door Doctor arrived promptly and performed work in a courteous manner,  He repaired the door opener and found a remote that he could program to work.  I would certainly use this company again.

Great experience from start to finish.  I called and obtained an appointment the next day.  Door Doctor arrived right on time.  My garage door opener is very old and had stopped opening and closing (except in small jerky increments).  Because of the age of the opener, I thought I would probably need a new one (and easily could have been convinced to buy a new one).  The technician adjusted the sensitivity of the opener, which fixed the problem.  After it was fixed, I asked the technician if he thought I needed a new opener (I did not want to keep having problems with an old opener).  He said that even though mine was old, it was still working and should last approximately 2 to 5 more years - so he recommended I wait until that time for a new opener.  I really appreciated the honest answer and the fact that the technician did not try to sell me something I did not need.

They were very professional and personable. The technician arrived on time and completed the project quickly. He was very friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

Jermaine came to give me an estimate for a new garage door and opener.  He gave me estimates for two different options.  He was knowledgable and polite and explained the options well.  The installation happened about two weeks later (to accommodate my schedule around Christmas) and everything was installed well and completely.  The new door is exactly what we wanted and the work was done perfectly.  The old door was hailed away and the installer explained how to work the new opener and keypad.

The estimate and contracting went very smoothly & professionally.  We encountered a structural problem during installation (some rotten wood) that prevented installation from being completed.  But they worked with me and helped me locate a third party to remedy that problem, then quickly completed installation.  I was pleased and impressed with how they went the extra distance to get the door installed.  Everything else went smoothly, good communication and excellent results.

Our problem occurred late on Saturday, we called left a message and the call was returned. The first opening was on Monday. We were able to find a company who could fix it on Sunday (which was a surprise) and they were very apologetic. I just thought that they were very professional and prompt even though we did use their company.

Overall excellent job.

The person who answers the phone was professional and made an appointment in a two hour window for the same day.  The repairman showed up on time and had the necessary parts in his truck.  Repair was completed professionally and the door was restored to working order.  The total cost was fair.  Overall, this is how service should be done.

I was very impressed with the technician.  I had no trouble with the service performed.

Due to failure on Saturday night of one of the old tension springs,  we had two of our cars locked in the garage and now way to get them out as the garage door could not be opened.

A quick search on Angie's List brought me to the Door Doctor website and a quick call had us scheduled for emergency service the next morning.  The technician arrived on time,  and replaced both springs, adjusted the door and had the problem fixed in under an hour.

Good service, timely, fair price--doors work great!

I compared prices with several other A rated garage door servicers in Angie's list and found this company was among the lowest and about half as much of the most expensive.  Chris and Angela were very helpful and responsive to my questions.and an appointment was set up for the same day.  The technician was prompt, polite, and efficient.  My only suggestion for better service would be to have the technician wear shoe covers when going through my house to reach the garage.
