They installed two new doors.  After the installation was complete, I questioned why there was no external hardware for a lock.  I was told that they didn't normally didn't install that because most people used remote door openers and didn't need it.  They offered to install it but I declined.

Note that if you want the doors painted, one of their people does this as a sideline, and the cost will be extra. There are some issues with that painting that can't be attributed to the company providing the service.

Provider was punctual and quoted the install over the phone. I mentioned Angie's lift and they gave me a free wall mounted combo opener. Really nice. Adjusted the door, etc. The whole was quick and painless. Great job!

I was very pleased with the service.  I originally contacted the provider via Angie's List messaging.  It took a while to get the first response, but they offered the best price.  I then sent a follow up message to schedule the service and got no response.  I then decided just to call to get the work scheduled.  The person apologized for any response issues and scheduled the work according to my preferences.
The repairman showed up on time and got to work without even telling me.  He did very quick work and also noticed an issue with my smaller garage door and offered to repair that for a nominal additional fee.  Both doors are now working properly and quieter than ever.  
I don't hold them fully at fault for any communications issues as it could be a technical issue.  

As this was a holiday weekend we were really pleased that he was able to make it out the same day we called. He was on time, very helpful with advice about possible future replacement of the opener. Repair was done quickly and I really appreciated the recommendation of the safety straps. Very happy overall.

They were professional, punctual, and upfront about everything. They stuck to the estimate and called me when they didn't have the doors in stock. They gave me a date when they can have it installed and they came out on the exact date they promised. Their prices were fair.

I called on Friday afternoon and was offered an appointment for Saturday between 7-9am. I was surprised that they were able to offer appointments that quickly, and was impressed that my door would be fixed so soon. The technician, George, arrived at 7:20 and had all work completed by 8:00. He was professional and very friendly as he explained in detail all of the work that he was going to do on the door. Upon completion, the invoice matched what I had been quoted on the phone, and George made sure to show me what he had done and that the door was in working order. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a 20+ year old garage door opener that quit working. Called on a Thursday and arranged for the technician to come out the next Wednesday (the earliest date available was Tuesday but I couldn't be here).
The technician arrived early within the window given, agreed that the opener was ancient and the gear was stripped, and replaced it with a new (and much quieter!) Liftmaster. It took him a little over an hour and the garage door is working fine.
I can't understand these Angie's List deal offering a new Liftmaster garage door opener for $500+ (supposedly an $800 deal). Although they are offering a 3/4 horsepower model, almost no residential garage door needs that powerful of an opener.
Quite satisfied with the whole procedure. It would have been nice if they could have come the next day, but the wait was worth it.

They were great over the phone, trying to see if I could trouble shoot myself but I couldn't. They are tech savvy with their call system and record keeping which I appreciated. They came out this morning and the technician was great. In uniform, efficient, very friendly, been doing garage doors for 30 years, and took great care. He added a part so my door wouldn't warp any further and fixed a connection for the sensors. I can see by the deals on here I could've paid less for someone else but I feel like I paid for great service and true expertise. I'm a happy customer.

Zero issues! Contractor arrived on time, replaced both springs, was friendly and quick. I would use them again and recommend them to friends/neighbors.

One of our garage doors was giving me trouble by not closing even though there weren't any obstructions. Our other door had a hinge between the panels that had been knocked out of place.
I called the people who installed the doors but they sent me to Door Doctor and had a good experience. The technician came within a day or so and gave both doors a thorough inspection. He adjusted the sensitivity and the laser lights to make sure everything was working properly. And, he reattached the hinge that was coming off.
All in all, a good day for our garage doors. I'll be calling them back when our openers die.

I submitted an online request for an estimate.  Provider called back within 24 hours and provided all the information.  Appointment set for the following Thursday, between 7am and 9am.  George called shortly after 7am to let me know he was on his way and would be there shortly.  I met him at the house and he explained what he was going to do, and estimated that it would take 3 to 4 hours.  I left him to his work and came back home since I was teleworking that day.  About 3 and a half hours later, George called to let me know he was just about finished.  I met him at the house and he demonstrated the system.  Everything was working perfectly.  George was absolutely awesome - friendly and personable, professional, and highly skilled.  I could tell that he is very detail oriented and takes great pride in his work.  It was a wonderful experience and great value for the price.  We will call Door Doctor for all of our garage door needs and we will recommend them to everyone!  Thanks so much.

Our job was not a large one but it had to be done as we could not get out of our garage and were essentially trapped inside.  
George spent about an hour and a half reattaching the door spring.  He was very professional and knowledgable about what needed to be done, and came on one of those bad snowy days we have been having in Virginia this spring.  Even though it was freezing inside and outside the garage he did not complain but just got to work.  We were very pleased with his positive attitude and ability.

Company was quick to respond.  Service was on time, professional and courteous.  Other firms quoted higher prices.  I highly recommend this company.

The repair man arrived on time, and was chipper and professional. When I mentioned my other door was difficult to operate in the winter, he went over and adjusted it on the spot. Then he completed the broken door and departed. The price was as promised.

Far more reasonable than any other quote. Did a great job.

We checked with a couple of companies (A-listers on Angie's). We choose Door Dr. based on promptness, professionalism and price.
They came out promptly, inspected old door, made recommendations and provided a competitively priced estimate. As soon as we gave the go-ahead we scheduled a date and they showed up on time - in the middle of a snow storm. Did a great job on the door. My super picky spouse inevitably found one small flaw (in the weather stripping ). Door Dr. promptly came out and replaced the strip.

I used the Angie's list feature to schedule service on line but the provider did not receive the message.  I then phoned the company direct and the office staff were very helpful with sceduling and apologized that my message did not go through.  The service person was efficient, completed the job within a short time , offered to check my second door and did the maintenance on it.  Left the area clean.  I felt I received good service at a reasonable price.  I will use Door Doctor again.
