I called on Thursday and could not get an immediate appointment but that was okay because this was a non-emergency issue. We took the first available appointment for the following Monday. The plumber arrived a few minutes early completely prepared to do the job. He was knowledgeable, professional and did an outstanding job of fixing what we had been trying to fix ourselves for months. He completed the job in just under an hour, and left our bathroom spotless. I also asked the plumber for advice on a different plumbing issue not related to the job I hired him for and I was impressed with his honest assessment and answer. There was no pressure or attempts to upwell which others have annoyed me with in the past. I liked that. I gave the cost a B because I had been given previous estimates of 10 dollars less from non-Angies list plumbers, but did not hire them because of the excellent service I've grown accustomed to by using contractors on the list. This was no exception and I will definitely use this company again. I have recommended them to family and friends as well.

They were extremely professional throughout the whole process and very easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

I discovered a leak coming from my upstairs guest bathroom going through the chandelier into my dining room on the floor directly below.  I called Cardinal and they were eager to help.  I can't recall the plumbers name, but he was great.  I explained to him what was happening and he jumped right into it.  My initial thought was a pipe had burst, but to my relief he quickly identified that it was a faulty tub spout that was erratically diverting water behind the drywall. What was originally thought to be a catastrophic plumbing incident ended up being a simple fix.  The thing I enjoyed most about this experience was he actually let me observe what he was doing and he taught me the steps to address this issue.  So not only did he fix my leak, he shared some valuable knowledge.  On his way out, I had mentioned that my toilets were running.  With no hesitation, he walked back upstairs to investigate the first toilet.  He identified that the plunger/flapper were the original parts that came with the house and had worn considerably.  He promptly fixed this while again walking through the remedial steps he was taking to fix the toilet.  
If someone from cardinal plumbing reads this, please help in identifying the plumber who assisted me and give him the credit he deserves.  35-40 years old male hispanic, about 5'8 - 5'9.  I will only use Cardinal as long as I'm living in the NOVA area.

Installation went fine.  I requested he install a new cut off valve.  he did for a 150.00, which he later reduced to 130.00.  he informed me of the price before performing any work and I accepted.  in retrospect I feel the cut off valve was to expensive

I had to go buy a toilet. The man was very nice to wait for me for over an hour while I went to purchase a toilet. He was very kind.

Daniel, the plumber, did a great job and cleaned up after too. He was an honest and great plumber. He knew his  art.
I am waiting now for an estimate of replacing my old water pipes.  My house was built in 1945.

I was pleased with the promptness of the plumber who came, and with the work that he did. The pipes have worked just fine since he replaced and fixed them. He recommended that we replace our faucet over the kitchen sink, and once we have purchased a faucet we intend to call this company to do the work. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

It was fine. It was within three weeks of that call. He was trying to up sell a little bit. He was here on time and professional. I wasn't dissatisfied, it was the up sell.

No problems at all.  Arrive on time.  Waited for me I had an early appointment which ran longer.  Was there when I arrived.  Got right to work took about an hour - 90 minutes or so. Job was done with no problems.

I had to order a replacement shower head for my replacement shower head. It was a total waste of money, because my husband could have done everything he did AND he would have had enough sense to realize that the shower head had a water save setting (which apparently it was set to when he installed it). The guy must have turned on the shower, noticed that little or no water was coming out, and then tried to remove the water restrictor piece thus breaking it. When I turned the shower on, it made a horrible, whistling noise, and when my husband removed the shower head, we saw that the installer had tried to pry out the piece and it was broken. I thought $59 was a great deal, but it ended up costing me twice as much because I had to order another part. My husband installed it, and it works fine--NOW.

David, the technician, showed up at the stated time.  He looked at the shower head that was dripping and determined that I needed a new mixing valve.  He suggested that I contact the maker of the shower to see if it was still under warranty.  I contacted the maker who sent me the parts necessary for repair for free.  As soon as I received the parts I scheduled David again and he came out and replaced the parts.  He checked to ensure that there was no drips and we discussed a couple of other plumbing issues in my house that may need attention.  He was very knowledgeable and professional.
