We approach each move as a mission. We will help you develop a strategic move plan and deploy the hardworking Campbell Moving and Storage team to achieve the objective of your successful relocation. Campbell Moving and Storage offers local, long distance and international moving and storage services. Based in the Northern Virginia area of Washington, D.C., we can start and terminate moves anywhere. Since our inception in 1978, we have successfully relocated tens of thousands of families and businesses. "It was a year and a half ago the customer and I went discussed his move by phone. We could only go by what he explained or failed to explain about the preparedness of his move, and the non exclusive use of his elevators at both ends of his move. The management would not allow our company to lock off and have exclusive use of the elevator. It was the customers responsibility to arrange and schedule the elevator. We spent hours of time chasing and waiting for the elevator to come to our floor without any passengers in it. We could not load furniture unless the elevator was empty and then the door would not stay open while loading. This extra time caused us to end up later than we wanted to be on the way to unload as we ended up in Northern Virginia traffic at 4;00 pm in route to the new apartment building in Maryland. All of these things did add up to a lot of wasted time causing the customer to be angry at us. Th BBB ruled we were in the right. As far as the charges for his move we credited 2 hours from his bill on the evening of the move. His new condo was full of workman and contractors trying to finish work while we were bringing in his furniture. Had he better organized his moving day we could have done him a quicker job."

"I am so sorry you received less than our best service on your move. We strive to make every Angie's list customer as happy as possible. To put a long story short, about half of our company had the flu this particular Saturday morning and we did have to scramble a bit to get our schedule of jobs completed. The young man you described as the "Foreman was not the foreman. He was the son of our usual foreman for this crew working for his dad who had called in sick. He is an experienced mover even given his age so we felt he could get us through the day. The other 2 men he was with are 2 of our full time men and yes their English is not as good so the young man took over the communication duties with you on the paperwork. Those other 2 men are not what I would call small guys and don't know where that came from as they are the same men that are being reported on in all our other Angie List reports here. I only wish that you would have called us in the office on the day of the move to let me know you were less than perfectly happy with our service. We are available either in the office or by cell phones that you were given. It is hard for us to help you after the fact. We did send another truck to your move in the afternoon but for some reason you did not make use of it nor give us any indication of your dissatisfaction. This report is the first we have heard of it. Had we known we would have sent another truck the next day at no charge to help you finish moving your storage unit.
