We were able to get the appointment when we needed it (within 2 weeks of our initial call).  He was prompt and professional.  Cleaned and inspected the chimney and firebox.  Recommended some other repairs which we agreed with.  He returned within 2 weeks and completed the additional work (replaced trim around top of chimney, replaced rotted wood, installed new chase cover and bent stack cap, total $875.)  During first visit he told us about a product we could get to clean our slate hearth, and then brought some on his second visit and cleaned it himself.

Neat, professional, trustworthy.

He was available and his price was reasonable. He was out promptly and got the work done.

Went very well. Great response, on time. Did a great job.

I have used them for about 3 or 4 years and have always been happy with them. They come when they say they will come. I had a problem with the chimney not drawing like it was supposed to. It was not an easy thing to solve but they stayed with it until it was solved.



Update for Feb 2015:  Had the Chimney Sweep out again this year.  They cleaned and inspected the woodstove's chimney, and also cleaned out the dryer's ductwork.  As usual, they were on time and friendly, and left everything neat and clean.   I will be happy to continue doing business with this company.

Worker arrived on time , was thorough in explaining the situation and details of the service needed.  Work was done quickly and left everything tidy.  Follow up call about smell was handled politely and questions answer thoroughly.  We will call them back at end of summer if smell persists.

Called them on Oct 6th made an appointment for 14 Oct between 3-5pm. The women on the phone was very nice and professional. Received a reminder call 13 October. On 14 Oct I received a professional call notifying that they were going to be 5-10 min late due to a previous job that took longer then expected which I appreciated. During his work he took great caution to keep his work need and was extremely professional. During his inspection he found a crack in our back heat shield, which would need to get replace. He did not have the correct sized heat shield in the truck, so I will have to schedule another day for them to come out and replace it. Overall extremely pleased from the service of the "The Chimney Sweep" from start to finish.

They were really nice.  They kept everything really clean and I had no problem with dust or anything coming into the house. They arrived on time.  We had a written schedule on the work that was to be done on top of the chimney and they came on time for that and did that in the time that they said they would. There was no problem. It was $59 for them to come out and do the cleaning and for the normal check.  It was $349 to put the cap on the top.  They were reliable and professional.  They did a good job.  I will use them in the future.

They are excellent!  They always clean up after themselves.

We had them out when we moved in to check the chimney. They gave us advice on what to do for the upcoming chimney sweep. They were very professional and courteous. They charged us minimally for the inspection and will be back in the Spring for the sweeping.

Easy to make an appoint. On time as scheduled. Very professional, up front on what was needed and repairs that we may need to have performed in the near future. He inspected the chimney from the inside of the house, then went to the roof and inspected from there. Afterwards, he answered all my husband's questions and was very patient.
