The plumber, Hai, is a true professional. He explained what was wrong and what had to be fixed in the kitchen. No more leaks! The bathroom was straightforward-a clog due to hair, soap, and toothpaste. The price was little high, but the job was perfect, you get what you pay for! We'd recommend Shreve-McGonegal to anyone, and we'd use them again!

12:00 am I called them because water was flowing into lower level onto pool table and through lighting fixture. I called them because I have used several other service providers in the last 10 years and have decided they are the most reliable, knowledgeable, honest providers for my HVAC and Plumbing.
The on-call plumber advised me, after I told him I didn't want him to come at such a late hour, how to determine the cause of the leak and other preventive measures, in case my theory was incorrect. (dishwasher? turn it off. if not? turn off water for whole house while sleeping just to make sure.
appointment consultant called by 8 am, asked if I was okay with a later appointment, and I was. They had been booked previously.
Plumber came early afternoon. Dishwasher pump had split and poured water.
Plumber gave me more advice on how to turn off dishwasher water/ which he did for me.
Then I had him clear a clogged drain which was a problem for years. Since I'd already paid for the service call, that came at a discounted rate.

Technician quickly diagnosed the problem but had to ask my wife for a screwdriver - apprenty did not have the right one on his truck. Part had to be ordered. Returned with the part and installed it but AGAIN still did not have a screwdriver (three months later!). Job was done quickly and professionally but Shreve McGonegal Is not a and quot;low cost provider.and quot;. Staff should show up with the tools to do the work.

Everything was great except the subcontractor for the tiling did not waterproof correctly such that water wicked up the back of the wall and caused the grout to discolor. After replacing just the grout and it happened again they figured out what had happened and had their own people come, remove all the affected areas and start over. There was no argument about any of it and we were not charged for the repairs, it was just really a pain to have our master bath out of commission for so long.
The people from Shreve did great work and were very courteous and professional. I would avoid Dand T Tile (the subcontractor) like the plague. All that being said when we remodeled the master bath in our next home we did not use Shreve. But I would still use them (and do) for plumbing, and other repairs in the house.

They came just a few hours after I called. He used booties over his shoes so that he would not soil carpets. He showed us exactly what was wrong after he removed the toilet fixture. He finished very quickly and the toilet works perfectly and does not leak.

It went very well with Shreve-McGonegal. I think I provided my own faucet.

They do good work, but lack follow-through and don't hesitate to charge $50 for visits where nothing is done.

It went well. There had been confusion amongst the several contractors that I had spoken with and I was getting conflicting stories. Shreve came in, identified what the problem was, and even rectified what was a potential fire hazard while they were there for the estimate. They also went as far as to check the filters for our other furnace and provide guidance on how we could potentially install a humidifier on that one (unfortunately cannot, but that has nothing to do with them). I know the project took longer than they expected, but I never once heard a complaint or anything about increased cost for time or materials. It was a simple straightforward and pleasant experience which unfortunately seems to be the exception rather than the rule these days.

It was okay. The man who came said that if I joined Angie's List I could get $50 off. I didn't immediately join. I did not make that decision while the man was in my kitchen. It was kind of expensive. I could have saved some money had I joined. The serviceman was very pleasant. I have found other plumbers.

Excellent they do really good work. My parents have used them for years.
My only complaint: prices are way high in my opinion. I called them because my regular plumber could not do it right away.
But, I knew that from the get go, so I just mention it for everyone else.

We trust them to work in our home when we aren't here. Staff are always professional and clean up before leaving each day. They know their stuff Their team uncovered numerous problems with our house that they fixed to our satisfaction during the project. Only complaint is that sometimes they only had one or two people on the job....maybe it would have gone faster if they had assigned more staff. However, quality is excellent and we will continue to use them.

Very well.

Sewer water was coming up in the overflow sink. It had been stopped up for 3 days. Draino didn't work.
So I called them. They cleared the clog and cleaned up the mess and all has been fine to date.
They did such a great job that I called them back when a pipe was leaking in my shower.

Incredibly well. Other plumbers said it could not be done without ripping open the wall. These guys are great! Worth every penny.

I put N/A on price because I have no idea if $500 was a good price for this unit or not. we had had the backup pump replaced and it was about $400. I needed it and it was in the range so we went with it. They came out the same day we called. They explained everything. They came back the next day as promised. I am happy with the work and he fixed a problem we had that was caused by the previous installation. I would definitely use them again.

They get good ratings from me but they get a B for price.

performed the work fine but he spent most of the time stayed in car smoking and on the phone; charged extra because he talked with me after he and quot;finishedand quot; the service. Called to complaint about it and never managed to talk with a person on the phone. Never called back.

Went really well. the tech - Nguy (sp?) is awesome. it was a little expensive, but it's worth it to know it's dome correctly.

Hai (the plumber) was incredibly professional, friendly, and focused. He came in, knew exactly what the issue was and how to deal with it. He removed the toilet, used the 100' snake to bust up the tree root growing through the pipe, gave recommendations on how to be gentle to delay the reoccurrence, gave suggestions of who to talk to about replacing the sewer pipe, and cleaned up better than he found it. Took 2 hours.
AND the price was $200 less than the other estimate I got. Still a ridiculous amount of money in general, but worth it for the quality of service Hai provided.

Always a pleasure to hire a professional, this company can be counted on. We made the appt. They came when they said they would and performed the plumbing jobs that needed to be done.
I recommend them to my friends and family!!
