It went well overall. However, I would have appreciated more communication during the process. I had to keep calling the title company and my credit union to find out where we were during the process, and what paperwork needed to be done next. For example, when I called the title company during the process for an update after I had not heard from them for 2 weeks, they responded that they were waiting to hear from my credit union. They did not call me or the credit union on their own when needing something, they waited to hear from them. This happened more than once. I had to keep calling to keep everything rolling along. But, all in all, the work was done. At the closing, every paper I was signing was explained, which I really appreciated, since usually a title company just points out where to sign. I would use them again.

This should have been a plain vanilla closing, but the sellers had not completed the repairs that were part of the contract and submitted misleading documentation, causing the closing to be held up until the work was done. The people at Integrity Settlement were great to work with in handling what turned into a very messy closing that actually dragged out for a week. Integrity Settlement is small enough that you really get the feel that they pay attention to individual transactions. I was pleased by the friendliness and professionalism of the people there. I would definitely use them again.
