Harold and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The quality of the deck, both the construction and the finished product, virtually the entire experience, exceeded our expectations.

It went extremely well. Supplies were delivered one day, and the work began and was finished the next day. The contractor kept me informed every step of the way. Met with six different contractors before choosing HR Renovations to tear down and rebuild our porch. They were hands down the best. Offered the best value and service. They were very courteous and accommodating; not pushy at all. We had to put the project on hold, unfortunately, but the company had no problem returning our deposit. Harold was very responsive to my call, was on time for appointment. He explained exactly what he was proposing for the repair of my deck and steps. My deck and stairs are now safe and usable again and will be for many more years. The price was what I would have expected for a job well done! HR Renovations did a great job building our deck and screened in porch. Harold put together a project and a price that fit our budget. Permits were pulled and inspections passed. Deck is solid and looks great. Pedro and Juan were professional and personable. Take aways a from experience: Ensure you pull permits and ask to do so up front, wait to screen in your porch if you plan to stain, if your budget can handle it put up aluminum gutters vice any plastic gutters, screen doors can sag, and really just enjoy your new deck. This deck is really a vacation at home.

The team from HR Renovations were great. They were extremely timely, professional and did a fantastic job removing our old wood deck and installing the gorgeous Trex decking. We are very happy with their work and recommend them to anyone looking for help on a home renovation project.

Harold came to the house, gave me an estimate, and told me how long it would take. He started when he said he would, finished within the expected timeframe, and it cost what he said it would cost. And I have no complaints about the work, they did a fine job.

Harold and crew did a fantastic job. They were professional, accommodating, and delivered the results we were looking for. We got three bids, and HR was the most competitive. Very pleased with what they accomplished and how it turned out. They finished a bit ahead of schedule, were communicative, and did a first rate job. This was a major redo of a 700 sqft deck using Trex that included demo, a full replacement of the deck, rails, and stairs in the same footprint of our existing 20yo (failing) deck. Care was taken, our plants lining ten old deck even somehow survived the rework! As a bonus, they surprised us by including a moveable step from excess for our aging cat ?. Bottom line: our experience put them on the short list for our next project. Photo is from their work in progress, I unfortunately don’t the have the finished work on my iPad....yet. I suppose I will have to upload that later. Would certainly recommend them for deck work. I found Harold to be honest, candid, and knowledgeable and fair — he proved to be a pleasure to work with.

HR Renovations did a terrific job replacing the wooden flooring, stair treads, and top pieces of my deck.
