This man hasn?t refunded my full amount in almost a year. Paid 50% down on a project that never got started, and we later found out he lied to us and wasn?t even licensed to do the work he quoted us. We used him to build our deck 2 years ago and wanted to add a roof to it. No permits, not licensed to do it, and now stole some of our money. DO NOT HIRE!!!

I hired this company to resurface an existing deck and to extend it 10 ft. I purchased the materials and they provided the design, permitting, and labor. They did a great job and I would hire them again. However, I have to say two things: First, I was kind of heavily involved in checking that things went according to plan and within the limited knowledge I have about building decks. Oto is the person in charge at the job site and sometimes we had to correct some issues, but he is a great worker. Second, they ripped a fiber optic cable because they didn't call Miss Utility before digging. That left us without internet and the possibility to work from home for a couple of days, which was an inconvenience. Overall, I recommend Don Óscar García's company for your construction projects.

Oscar's team did an excellent job. Written communication with Oscar was very clear and complete. The team did exactly what I wanted done for a great price.

Contractor has never finished the job and always ask for money beyond the contract. Failed to pass inspection 5 times and failed to follow the engineer drawing. His contingency level is close to zero. Maybe the job was too big for him and he should not have accepted it.

Oscar was great and my deck turned out amazing. We had a small miscommunication on the railing material but Oscar fixed it asap. I have recommended Oscar to a friend and now they are about the sign with him and his team to build their deck. Thank you!

I hired him for my Deck. Accepted his full quote, did not negotiate on the price. Deck was installed by a someone else, it's railings came apart within 3 Months of installation. He came and inspected the Deck. Promised to repair it but it has been over 2 Months now did not show up, He is not answering my calls nor responding my repeated attempts to reach him. The railings now have a gap of over 2 inches. Quality of the Deck is substandard and price is high. I do not recommend this contractor who cannot be trusted.

Oscar was excellent to work with. He and his crew were very professional. They did excellent work and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day. I could not be more pleased and will definitely seek their services again.

Oscar was very responsive. He and his guys did a very nice job replacing a rotted 6x6 support post for our deck and adding a couple of joists under a new Trex deck surface where the old joists were just a bit too far apart.

Great job overall and completed the job on within the time stated. The only issue, part my fault, was clarifying the painting of a portion of a shared fence (with a neighbor). Other than that, there are still very few small areas (kind of hidden) that need to be painted. Based on the value and service, this is something I have no problem taking care of. I would definitely use these guys again but ensure we discussed all aspects of the job prior to the work beginning. Thanks!

Oscar is very responsive and responsible. We signed the agreement on a Tuesday and completed the deck by Saturday. His folks worked hard through the wintery days to get the job done. Of course, you need some oversight and course correction, I was happy with the end result. Would recommend highly.

I used Leo's Home Improvement to replace the wood railing above my portico with composite material. Oscar (who owns/runs Leo's Home Improvement) was very polite and friendly. He was responsive to my questions and very good at keeping me updated about when the material we had ordered for my project would arrive (and thus when I could expect the job to be completed). He was also very price competitive, and thus a good value. Based on my experience with this project, I would recommend him.

We had to stay on top of them, or else the work would have been wrong. If you can monitor at every step, then the work is fine. Make sure they take (and USE) measurements, and that they confirm the full scope of the project.
