The consultation was great they got our payment lowered and we were very happy. Then I had to call them since we hadn't heard from them about scheduling our shower replacement to find out that our materials were in but they hadn't called to schedule the appointment yet. Then they called and rescheduled my appointment. Then when the bill came in it was not the payment we agreed on. After calling them to complain I was told that they didn't have any record of the lower price and I would have to pay the higher amount. If this is the way that a company does business in this economy they are someone we won't use again or refer anyone too. I was very disappointed. We do like the shower but the company is very dishonest.

I'm not happy because I wanted a bathroom seat and I also wanted a handicap railing.  I had a back operation and I have to sit down when I take my shower.  They wouldn't put a seat in there.  They were talking about it was too small for a seat.  They are very expensive.  Their price is too high.  On quality, I don't have any problem but I didn't get a seat and they didn't put my rail.  I asked for an emergency rail in there and I didn't get that.  I'm not going to be hard on them.  On responsiveness, they took a long time to get the stuff made.  I'm not really happy.  I would use them again, only because there is no one that I know that could do a bathroom.  I don't know anybody else so I have to use them.  I would say only if you have to have it done, you can call them; but if you can find somebody else then get them.

It was pretty good.  I had them come out twice.  It took so long because they sent the wrong part, or they made the wrong part up.  Then I noticed that a piece is coming off.  I could call and have them re-done because of the guarantee, but I haven't called on it.  They didn't put it up there as firm as they should.  It rattles a little bit.  It's weak.  The price was too expensive.  On responsiveness, they said they were going to do it in a day, but it took them about 2 days and half.  I would use them again only if I had the money.  I have another bathroom that I would like to do.  I like to tell my friends the truth and I tell them that Bath Fitter is on TV all the time but it's a problem with some of their promises that they promise you on.  I warn them you might not be completely happy because I was not completely happy.  They're the one that is considered well known around here.  I would not highly recommend.  I would always put a question if I would tell my friends about the work.  I was not thrilled.  I would consider using them because I don't know of anybody else.  I have another bathroom that needs to be done.  That's why I would call them again, but if I knew somebody that could do a better job, I would.

Went great.  They showed up on time, every time.  Install went smoothly.  Bathroom looks great and install works well.

I recently moved into a condo and had an issue with the shower in the master bath. The shower door did not close all the way, resulting in a wet floor, and many of the lower tiles on the wall were in disrepair. I scheduled an appointment with Bath Fitter online. The sales representative that came out was punctual and professional. He looked at the bathroom, explained in detail the areas of concern he saw and how Bath Fitter would be able to rectify the problem. He then went over with me the products they offered, explaining why they would be beneficial to me. I should add that this visit is free of charge. When I decided to go ahead with the service, he itemized everything that I should expect next.
The next stage of the process is where I had a bit of an issue. This stage was where a technician had to come out and take exact measurements of the space. While the sales rep had come out on a Saturday,it turned out that the technicians only work during regular business hours. This posed a small problem for me as I'm the only one in the residence and I work during regular business hours as well. I told the rep who called to make the appointment that I would get back to her. Then began a few weeks of us playing phone tag. One point to note...she would call me in the morning around 8:30. I NEVER answered the call. I'm usually on the metro at this time so I would ALWAYS miss her call. I would return her call, leave a message, and she would then call be back the next morning... at 8:30 am. She never once thought "hmmm....maybe i should try this client at a different time". When we were finally able to speak she was quite helpful in that she arranged for the tech to come out on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I will note here, though, that I never received a call or an email to confirm this appointment. Notwithstanding, the tech was there BRIGHT and EARLY on the day of the appointment. Again, quite professional and he detailed the next steps. Scheduling the actual work was a lot easier and didn't entail any back and forth. I was given an arrival window of 7:30 to 9:30. Let me tell you...Bath Fitter is NOT the cable company! Chris was ringing my doorbell at 7:33! He came in, explained what he was going to do, shared the relevant paper work, spread drop cloths over my carpet and began working. The job took two days, and he was prompt and professional on both days. I was quite pleased with the end product.
I will say that even though the work was a tad pricey, so far it is indeed worth the effort. I would recommend Bath Fitter.

The quality of the stuff stood out to me, and and workmanship.  The fellow was wonderful, just a single man that did all this.  He just worked from the time he got here in the morning until four o'clock, he never stopped.

Bath Fitter were very efficient, and did excellent work. I was extremely happy with them. They took our bathtub out and they put a shower in, and replaced the wall and also did ceiling and tile work, they just switched the whole thing in and it really was amazing how they did it. They were done in like a day and a half, where regular contractors would have wanted a couple of weeks. They were just really good, excellent bath fitters.

Outstanding job!  From sales to installation, the entire experience was stress-free, swift, thorough and clean.  We wanted to eliminate the aging, chipped tub from the master suite and replace it with a shower and sliding doors.  Shane Cannon, the Bath Fitter representative who set up our contract, examined the existing tub structure and advised us ahead of time that it would have to be pounded out with a sledgehammer but that their installers were accustomed to doing this with a moderate amount of noise.  He also said that, because of the particulars of our tub removal, they might require a second day to complete the installation, which we agreed to -- he said that this second day could be done on a Saturday if we wanted to schedule the work for a Friday.  Finally, Shane said that their installers were bonded and licensed and that, if we wished, we merely could let in the installer and leave for the day (because we had other work being done to the house for which we needed to be present, we didn't need to do this).  On the day of installation, a very pleasant installer named Nick Grooms set about breaking apart the tub (which wasn't nearly as noisy as we thought it would be) and showed us (at our request) the area behind the dry wall where the pipes were located to reveal that everything was dry and intact.  Nick cleaned up after himself as he went and, before we knew it, he was done.  Nick did return the next day to complete some small accessory installations (handheld shower attachment that we decided on at the last minute) and gave us explicit instructions concerning use of the tub for the first 24 hours and a list of suggested cleaning products. Bottom line:  Bath Fitter was better than their advertising!  Highly recommend anyone ask for Shane as well as Nick!

My experience went well. The staff was professional and knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable and I was pleased with the outcome of the service and would recommend this company to others.

Job went well, although they needed a space to be able to lay out the surround in order to mold it to fit so we had to move all my living room furniture.  Usually they do this outside, but it was raining.
The install guy was professional and knowledgable and did an excellent job and really didn't take that long.
I clean it with Dow "scrubbing bubbles" and it looks as good as the day it was installed, does not show ANY signs of wear or scratching, etc.  The caulk is still like brand new.  The other thing I like about it is it has a non-slip surface, so I never have a fear of falling while showering.  I've had it since 2005 and I think it is the best thing I have done to improving a bathroom at any time in my life!  I love it.
The only negative is that they don't have a price list, and I thought it was pretty expensive and they DO have high pressure salesmen, but they are workable and I would use them again in the future for sure.

There were some delays in installation due to lack of parts availability from an outside supplier, but Bath Fitter's kept me informed.  The actual installation went smoothly and professionally.  I wasn't happy for the gold tone of the brushed nickel shower doors from Basco (didn't match the brushed nickel shower head from Delta), so they replaced the shower door in two days with one I did like.  I was very happy with the work done.  They do high quality work.
