BOB'S CARPENTRY AND PAINTING

We love Bob and his sons.  They did painting and carpentry work for us 6 years ago and then again this past spring as we got our house ready for sale.  In both cases the quoted price was the final price and as I added other items to the scope Bob priced those items separately and for a very reasonable amount.  Quality of work is very good.  And Bob's personality is a lot of fun.  I love the way he talks about plaster cracks and holes in the wall - for example, "this guy here needs a patch and then he should hold for a long time" and "that fellow there is a problem but I will take care of him tomorrow."  If you hired Bob, you wouldn't regret it, but I might ... because he might not have time on his schedule for me!

I contacted Bob to obtain an estimate for the repair of two damaged floors and the painting of the interior of the house.  Bob was prompt in returning my initial call.  Likewise, he was able to fit me into his schedule to meet and provide an initial (free) estimate within the same week.
Bob's carpentry work and the paint job was outstanding!!  He was efficient and provided daily status reports.
I would (and will) definitely use Bob's Carpentry and Painting again.

We contacted Bob and outlined what we wanted and told him our timeline. We are getting the house ready to put on the market but wanted the work done prior to the holidays even the house is not being listed until Jan. Bob was very accommodating and was able to come out and complete the deck so we could have exterior pictures taken while things were still in bloom. We then set up a schedule to have the whole interior painted by Nov. 15th so we could have the interior pictures taken before the holidays. Also while he was here he completed some other minor tasks to help get everything in order such as caulking around our shower and painting the metal railing that were not in the original estimate. Upon completion he has offered to come back to do any minor touch ups we may need.

Bob and his sons do outstanding work; they are very efficient and quick. Also, they leave everything clean and neat. Bob's Carpentry is multi-talented. The next major job I plan to have Bob's Carpentry do is to build my deck. I have been using this company for a number of years and I have always been extremely satisfied with the outstanding work that they do. They are very professional and cordial.

He is outstanding and efficient. They are very neat and quick. He knows his product very well and he painted in accordance with the home owners association. After he was done fixing what the movers did, you couldn't even tell that it happened. He can do anything and everything. He is the best! His work is excellent!

Mr. DuShane arrived for the estimate on time and called back in a couple days, with a quote, as he said he would. To save a couple hundred dolIars, I ended up going with another firm, that sprayed the paint. In hindsight, I wish I'd had this firm do the job - roling would have given better coverage. Mr. DuShane - maybe next time; I'll keep your number.

He did a very good job. His prices were fair and he was very kind. I was very happy with the work. He went above and beyond what was expected. He made good suggestions and thoroughly explained the project. Replaced rotting wood free of charge.

Their estimate didn't include some of the work that I needed. They couldn't do some of the things that I needed. I have had an excellent experience with them. They have done some excellent carpentry work and painting in my house, so I went to them for this work but this was a bit beyond their capability. The quality of their work is very good for what they charge. Their price is very good.

Bob and his two sons are GREAT!!! They walk you through each step of their work. Bob will constantly consult with you to make sure the work is going as you planned. They clean up at the end of the day like they were never there. Type of people you feel comfortable working in your home

Great. Bob and his sons scraped, primed, caulked, cleaned away mold with bleach, and painted. All the painting was white except the doors, which were painted red. I was having trouble finding the right shade of red, the chips and the paint never seem to be the same, and Bob sold me on Duron's Farmhouse Red, a standard color but a beautiful one. They did a fantastic job. They took 2 1/2 days. Their prep work and their painting was meticulous. No spills or drips, no cracks left in any caulk, no chips of scraped paint all over my flower beds. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. Bob was great about keeping me informed from start to finish. When providing the estimate, he itemized his prices, which were very reasonable, and explained everything that was included. Each day after completing work, he left me a voice mail about what he had done, and he reviewed the scope and expectations of the work at the beginning and end of each day. They did all the little extras, which I mentioned above, such as installing the locksets and house numbers and disposing of all the old things. The paint was included in the price, and the work is warranted against peeling, Bob said, "if it starts to flake on you, even years from now, you give us a call and we'll take care of it. We guarantee our work." I am so happy with them that I plan to use Bob to repair our screened porch and for interior painting and repair projects, too.
