Council Sales and Service was the nearest authorized warranty repair business for Ryobi weed eaters. I explained the problem (would not start) and was told it would be two weeks. Three weeks later I called and was told it would be another three weeks. Three weeks later I called and they said it would be another two weeks. I believe I called another time and was told it would be another two weeks. All told, it took 10 weeks for them to repair my weedeater. Had they been upfront with me from the beginning, I might have tried another dealer or at least accepted the fact that it would take awhile. To make matters worse, the first time I used the weedeater, it would not idle and would bogg down when pushing on the throttle. They failed to properly adjust the low and high idle speeds correctly! Frustrated, I decided to take it to another dealer who charged me $45 for something Council should have fixed in the first place....attention to detail. I would not recommend them.
