"We fully understand that folks like to know a price upfront and that's why we always give our prices upfront before we do any work. The customer has the opportunity to be given options and THEN make the best choice for them. We also tell you upfront that we charge a set fee to come out to your home instead of charging by the hour. When you invite us to come out, we send a professional who has been background checked, drug tested and fully trained, to diagnose the repair or replacement and recommend how to fix it properly. He will arrive at an arranged time in a box truck stocked with thousands of parts which saves you time and money. We stock several styles of kitchen faucets on our truck too because folks like to have a choice. Based on your choice of faucet and the condition of the valves, connections and piping to it, the plumber would give you a guaranteed price to make YOUR replacement. Your house, your kitchen and your needs are unique and therefore, giving an estimate over the phone without even seeing the job would be unfair to the customer. The tendency then would be to give folks a low estimate over the phone to get invited out, only to see the job and change the price once in the home. That would be fraudulent. It is our choice to be upfront."

On this call there was a disagreement with the course of action the Technician took to attempt to remedy the clog (which was to remove the trap) on a sink that had not been used for about a year & also with the recommendation on how to solve the problem (replace/repipe the galvanized drain line into the basement). We regret that we were unable to communicate more effectively how our recommendations could help solve this problem permanently. I personally regret, as the owner, that she felt I was "very rude" as that is never my intention. It is our intention to practice our art as plumbers with such honesty, integrity and skill that our customers are thrilled to call us their plumber and confident to recommend us to everyone they know."
