After Jason responded to my email, which took several days, he was very responsive. He came and surveyed my yard and provided an estimate within 24 hours. I had made agreements with three neighbors to split the cost of the fence and Jason was more than happy to bill each of them separately. The first day the crew of three men was here for approximately 12 hours. They would have completed the entire fence in one day if they had not run into a large rock in my neighbor's yard that had to be broken up with a jack hammer that they obtained the next day. I had a double gate designed so one side would be used as a normal "people" gate and the other side could be opened if I needed to bring in anything large into my back yard with my truck. Jason had a PVC sleeve put into the ground so that the post in between the two gates could be lifted out. I was impressed by the use of 6 x 6 vice 4 x 4 posts on each side of the gates and heavy duty hinges making the gates sturdy and less susceptible to sagging as they did on my original fence. Clean up and hauling away all the old material was done and the new fence looks great.

Absolutely everyone from Loudoun Deck and Fence was perfect. The salesman Tim V took the time to fully understand the project, answer all questions, provide a timely and competitive bid, and communicated effectively about the installation date. The site managers Jason and Wilbur did amazing jobs. The fence was installed on a very challenging surface with many different slopes. The fence looks beautiful. Thank you LDand F!

A few days after I submitted an online request for an estimate for a fence repair, I got a call from someone to schedule a visit. I was told that I did not need to be home, and that an estimate would be emailed to me. After about a week with no estimate, I tried calling the office in case there had been a transcription error with my email address. The message I left was never returned.

They were fantastic and did the project in one day. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and they were professional about everything. They cleaned everything after themselves, there was no issues and I can't speak anymore highly of them.

I LOVE THESE GUYS!! Jason and his crew were incredible to work with. When Jason came out to give the estimate, I was a nervous wreck. We had just settled on our new house and the Home Owners Assocation (HOA) had mandated that we replace the fence around the back yard. While this was a blessing in disguise, it was not anything we looked forward to doing in the *limited* time frame mandated by the HOA. Wanting to do the job correctly, we met with three fence vendors to determine who could best meet our needs withing the budget that we had. I also have to add that I was 9 months pregnant and living among boxes. It was a nutty crazy time. Upon meeting Jason, I was immediately put at ease. He's just easy to work with and is genuinely charming and professional. Once we got the estimate, I knew we had to go with LDF. Compared to Long Fence, we were able to get a MUCH better fence for our money. As LDF gets so many favorable reviews, it was then a 'no brainer'. The crew came and did the work so fast, I was truly impressed. The workers were very friendly and professional. I had a few questions and the foreman on the job was very knowledgeable and assured my concerns (we moved a few gates). Jason also checked in regularly, which was such a pleasant suprise. As we were doing numerous jobs around the house, I asked Jason for a few recommendations and he really was able to help out there too. In that regard, I can't say enough great things about Jason and LDF. Now, our neighbors regularly compliment us on the fence. As a matter of fact, we've started a trend... two neighbors have decided to power wash their fences to make their yards look nicer. And best of fall, one neighbor had hired LDF to put a new fence around their back yard. I couldn't be happier... for us (they have a dog who likes to roam freely) and for LDF. Oh, and when the guys from LDF came around to give an estimate to our neighbor, they even remembered my name, my pregnancy AND asked how the fence was. If you use LDF, you can't go wrong. They are EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan and Tim from Loudoun Deck and Fence were absolute professionals. We were moving from outside of the area and were eager to get a fence built around our end-unit townhouse. They worked with us from the very beginning (before we had even closed) to discuss what we wanted and meet with us on our options for deck expansion and for the fence. When we were unsure exactly what we wanted to do with the deck, Dan brought in his design program and showed us every combination possible. He provided pricing and never hassled us for our business or made us feel like any job was too big or small. Being new to VA and unsure of how often we would use our deck, it was Dan who recommended waiting a few months to truly understand what we wanted prior to jumping into a project. We still wanted the fence, which they build as quickly as we could get our HOA to approve it. They worked around our schedule, and their team worked quickly and efficiently. We were very pleased with the overall job and with the service we received from management. Our only complaint would have been the clean up by the actual work crew when they finished the job. They left behind small items of trash (water bottles, etc) in the yard and while they cleaned up the mess on our property, some saw dust, etc was on our neighbors patio/furniture, which was not cleaned up. Luckily, we noticed and cleaned up before our neighbors did. Minor detail for the excellent workmanship, great management and time and kindness we received from this company during this process. We're still deciding what we want to do with the deck, but when we do, I am confident it will be these guys we ask to come out and do it.

Received estimates from two other highly-rated Angie's List contractors, in addition to Loudoun. Of the three estimators, Tim was the most conscientious; he listened as we explained what we wanted to do, made good recommendations that were in line with our desires, and he gave us a great price. Work was scheduled shortly after contract was signed. Installation was completed in a day (despite the rain!). Installers did a fantastic job, and the completed fence looks great! Highly recommend Loudoun to anyone looking for a top-notch fencing contractor!

They were very responsive from the beginning to the end. They came to the property promptly to give an estimate, explained their services and how the fence would be built. They were also willing to work with me on the gate placement as well as create a double gate for a vehicle to go through. They arrived and completed the fence in 2 days. After wards the wind was blowing the double gate open, they came back promptly and added additional hardware to assure that would not happen. I received a couple estimates and was happy with their price and very happy with their service.

Jason came out to provide us with an estimate for a 4 foot picket fence for our backyard. He arrived promptly and was very patient taking the time necessary to answer all of my questions. When we asked for Jason's input/advice, he was extremely helpful and provided us with some great advice. We were unsure of what style of fence to select. Jason talked us through the pros and cons of each and showed us pictures as well. With his assistance, we decided on a Mt Vernon picket. I really appreciate Jason's attitude and professionalism and that there was no high pressure sales tactics. We decided to have Loudoun Deck and Fence complete the work. Lead time was approximately 1 week. The lumber was dropped on Monday afternoon and when I came home from work Tuesday, the fence and three gates were complete in one day. The crew did an outstanding job, and the fence looks beautiful! All of my neighbors have complemented how great the fence looks. We are extremely pleased with the work done. I highly recommend Loudoun Deck and Fence. We received estimates from 3 other companies. While the pricing was comparable, the customer service was not. One company came out, took measurements and emailed a quote. There was no detailed discussion about the project. The other two companies came out and provided an estimate. Neither of them were as thorough as Jason. I didn't get a sense that they really cared about my wants/needs. I trust Loudoun Deck and Fence and look forward to working with them again.

Jason came out and was exceedingly helpful. The price was good, the worksmanship was good, and their follow up is great. They even come out a year later to make sure everything is ok with their work and make any repairs.

Called for an estimate, came out to the house, said he would provide estimate and never did. Never had the courtesy to return phone calls.

I think their estimate was reasonable. They came out and gave me a quote. We talked about the fence and looked at pictures. We just decided not to do the project. There was nothing really against them.

My experience with them was excellent. They were pretty good at everything. There is nothing I would give them a bad rating on. They provided great service. I would use their services in the future too.

Overall we had a very positive experience with Loudoun Deck and Fence--much in part because they were extremely responsive. Tim (Sales) quickly returned my calls without being “pushy” and patiently answered all my questions; Mary Ann (Office Manager) was great at keeping the process moving forward once I decided to proceed; and Wilbert (Foreman) and his team were polite and did a great job with the installation and clean-up.

My experience was amazing! I sent out a request for information through Angie's List and recieved a prompt response from Jason. I explained that I would be buying my first home and that I needed a fence installed (preferably on the weekend). I had this initial conversation with Jason on a Tuesday, I think, so I was basically asking for a miracle - 4 day turnaround. Jason was kind enough to visit the property to take measurements without me having to be there. He came back with a timely estimate which included everything I had asked for. There was a large branch (actually the size of a small tree) that needed to be cut down, and Jason explained that they would cut it, but due to the size they may not be able to remove it, which was understandable. Jason even called Miss Utility in advance so that lines would be marked in time for the fence to go up on that Saturday (whether or not I chose their company). The service, kindness during my time of stress, flexibility, and time that Jason took to explain the process and answer questions about the materials etc. was far beyond my expectations! I had received other estimates (I've made comments on one other company that was awful) and Loudoun Deck and Fence was not the cheapest, but they fell within a few hundred dollars of the other estimates. Jason explained that they also offered a 6 month and 1 year fence check in the price. With such amazing service I chose to have them install the fence for me. I then worked with MaryAnn who, again, provided outstanding service and flexibility (allowing me to make a deposit of a few hundred less than what was requested- I couldn't find the right card in all of my moving chaos). I was told to expect Willard in the morning on Saturday. I called at 9:30 to check the status, and the team was on the way (wood had not been delivered, so they drove to pick up all of the materials needed). Williard and his team were unbelievable! I walked him around the property, pointing out the overgrown brush etc. They worked very efficiently with barely a break. They took down all of the overgrown brush, the tree limb, the chain link tangled in vines and installed a beautiful fence in one day! To my delight and surprise, they removed all of the branches and brush, so both my front and rear yards were clear and useable! Will took a few moments once the fence was complete to walk the line again, show me how the gates would work, and he patiently answered my questions about staining and protecting the fence. MaryAnn sent a note to tell me not to worry about paying the remaining balance until my move was complete saying that she understood moving was tough and that she hoped I had a good expereince getting settled in! She was flexible in getting the payment, protected my privacy, and was very prompt in processing and providing me reciepts. I cannot express how wonderful the service was (more than worth a few hundred dollars in price difference). In such a stressful situation, every member of their team was supportive, kind, hardworking, and willing to go above and beyond for me. I've worked in customer service positions for years and have never recieved such great care from a company! I will be calling them again once I've saved up for a deck! I highly recommend them and have spead the word to my neighboors as well!!!

Jason and his crew were incredibly easy to work with and understood/addressed all of my concerns during the project. The design and execution of the project were done professionally and I would, without hestitation, recommend Loudoun Deck and Fence to my friends and neighbors. Several of my neighbors have actually commented on how lovely the new fence looks and what a great job Jason's team did.

We talked to a few different deck companies before meeting Dan. He came out to our house to go over what we were looking for in a deck and brought his computer with him to show us what it would look like while we were planning it. We finally decided what we were looking for which wound up being a main deck with a separate step down area for a hot tub to sit in so it would look like it was built in. The structure itself is pressure treated wood, but the flooring is composite and the pickets for the railing are black aluminum. We also had low voltage lighting installed in the posts and railing of the stairs. Dan and his crew were great to work with. He returned phone calls promptly, answered questions, fixed problems, etc. He took all of our concerns into account while designing the deck and made sure the area for the hot tub would be big enough. He actually went out to the hot tub store to measure everything. Mary Ann, the Office Manager, is also a great part of their team. She kept us informed of things and answered any questions we had. Loudoun Deck and Fence is a great company. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Jason and his crew were wonderful. He came out to the house to give us an estimate on the 4' paddock style fence and a 6' privacy fence. Since our HOA doesn't allow privacy fences, we opted for the paddock. It turned out beautifully. We're very happy with how the fence turned out. The guys were very polite and courteous, and they cleaned up whatever dirt was left behind.

Company gave us a good price (compared to another company) and streamlined process (emailed the drawings), recommended a lower grade wood that saved $500 or more which was appropriate for the job. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish and Jason (the owner?) and Maryann (admin) both couldn't have been more pleasant and responsive . Completed in 2 days. The fence is beautiful and well built.

A coworker used Loudon Deck and Fence and had a great experience. He recommended them to me, so I decided to give them a try without 3 bidding their work. I e-mailed Dan and it took 2 weeks for him to respond. Was very nice and professional when he showed up to discuss the project and take measurements. Gave me some websites to look a the products and said we would have a drawing for me in a little over a week. Said he was really busy and asked that I reach back out to him if I hadn't heard from him. Waited 2 weeks and sent him a note. Have send 2 additional notes and have not received a response. I did see his work and he does a great job. Just disappointing level of response.

i received 4 different estimates (all from angie's list companies); loudon was the cheapest by far. they were prompt and very easy to work with. there were some problems with my trees -- right on the property line! -- so jason, the team leader, called to talk with me then emailed me pictures of the area in question so we could come up with the right solution. additionally, their receptionist/billing tech/scheduler is great and was very willing to work with me. i could not be more pleased, the fence looks great, and i will use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Excellent... honest and professional - We've received MANY compliments on the fence already!
