The price was not so good.

Left riding mower with them in November 2013 and asked for quote to return to good running order.
Had just replaced battery at that time.   Didn't need mower over winter but after no response for
three months called again for the quote.  They said they were would get it to me.   Again, nothing
for two months, at which point I went to their location to see where my mower was and what was
going on with it.   They had 'repaired' mower at cost of nearly $350 without my approval.  Tires were
flat, battery was dead and no one knew what was going on with it.   They replaced battery and I picked
up with borrowed pickup truck and brought the mower home.  Started mower, which would intermittedly
cut off despite the fact they had rebuilt the carburetor, but blades weren't turning.   Returned mower for
them to correct problem.  One of technicians there advised when you buy crap, you're always having to have 
it fixed.  Nice customer service - not only are you not fixing my problem, you're now calling me an idiot,
Was called and advised was fixed.  Borrowed truck again, dragged the thing home, started it up, went 30
feet across my yard and blade belt gave way and flew out the grass discharge.   Called OPE to complain but
was given no recourse other than bring it back, which I advised I could not continue to do. When asked if they
would pickup given the circumstances I was advised that was unlikely without a charge.
I would not recommend this company to anyone, anytime.   They were slow, arrogant, non responsive and unprofessional.
And it's a shame because there aren't too many of these shops in town.  Quite frankly, I'd rather drive an hour and get service in Lynchburg.

Outdoor power equipment worked on my tiller and they had it fixed that same day. I had added too much oil and it had gunked up the engine. They cleaned it out and it runs like a champ. They were honest and did not try to sell me any parts. They took a couple minutes to show me the problem and walked me through how to prevent it from happening in the future.

Replaced broken lawn mower starting cord for only $10 the same day.
Would have cost $50+ and taken days if I had taken it to Sears where I bought the lawn mower.

Outdoor Power Equipment do a good job. I've used them several times. It is good, they fix the stuff - it is always fixed - the price is right. It is a good place to go. When you drop the stuff off they tell you they are going to fix it. I'm interested in results and the repair is always good.
