It went very well they were very professional. In addition, recently we noticed that seals on 3 windows were broken and there was dirt inside the panes. We called them and they told my husband where to get the serial number off of the window. They order them and a couple of weeks later called to make an appointment to replace them. They came and replaced them free of charge. They mean it when they say lifetime guarantee. We would recommend them to others.

It has been a year since I received the phenomenal product and service from Matt and Crew. piloted by Beck! A precision and well managed machine.



The reason I am writing this review after the fact is that few folks, report the savings they receive from an upgrade. Since the installation I have saved an average of 17% monthly, due having the windows installed. The cost savings are already paying me back, for the expense.

I signed up for an estimate and signed a contract to purchase the windows. It took a while for them to come in.

The installers were awesome. The installers were better than the sales team.

Overall I am very happy with my new windows.

The good: I've priced around a little and found window world of Richmond to be the least expensive. The quality of their work is good and the workers are friendly.
The Bad: If it were not for their lack of professionalism and punctuality I would give them an and quot;Aand quot;. However, they are so bad with scheduling that I rate them a solid and quot;Cand quot;. I've used them several times now and each time my experience has been the same. I keep going back for punishment because of their prices, I may come to terms with myself sometime soon and not go back. If you decide to use them, here is my advice: From the time you sign the contract with and quot;Chrisand quot; (he's a great guy and very responsive) call and quot;Sondraand quot;, she is in charge of scheduling (not as responsive) If you think she will call you, forget it!! I've waited weeks before finally calling just to find out my work was not even scheduled, EVERY TIME! If you call and leave a message, forget it!! you must speak with her. If you do get on the schedule the workers may not show up and for days no one will call. In that case you must start over again with trying to get back on the schedule. If a piece of trim or something else was ordered incorrectly and the guys say and quot;we need to order correct part and will be backand quot;, you must call Sondra to get back on schedule. As of now my most recent job is incomplete because guys were no show. I got back on the schedule and again the day was missed. The next day it was complete and looked great. last time before was because their truck broke down, don't know reason this time. Good luck!

They were excellent. I noticed they were with Angie's List so I called them. I called a few estimates, nobody else I don't think was from Window World but I can tell you they did a fabulous job. They were really good, the sales rep, Chris, he was really good and follow-up and going over all the information with me. The guys that installed the windows were very considerate, very pleasant and they work fast and did a really good job. Most certainly, I might go through them with siding when I get around to that, they don't do roofing but I'm trying to talk them to it.

An update to my prior review... I was contacted by the owner, Matt. He was very apologetic and understanding. We came to an agreement. I am satisfied. Was invited to use the Window World's lifetime guarantee if necessary. Very nice windows
. One more thing...make sure your double-hung windows are locked when you lock them. Two of my windows are a bit tricky, but a call to Window World took care of that. It's a double-hung window thing.

The 3 windows weren't level. They had to take it out and redo it. They started in April 2012 and finally finished in July 2012. We were happy with the end results. It took longer than expected.

Window World Of Richmond has good selection of styles. They do quick efficient work.

They were great, they were wonderful. We had shopped around and they offered the best price. They were about half the price of everyone else. We scheduled and appointment and they showed up on time. Within two or three hours they had everything installed. They cleaned up after themselves. We have not had any issues at all. They were very good.

They were excellent. They were very professional and very punctual and did what they said they were going to do.

They were great. We checked their rating on Angie's List and it was right on point. From the beginning with the sales pitch through the installation, everything was smooth. The salesman was a previous installer so his knowledge was great. The project only took a day and half. On the exterior windows, there was still lead in the paint due to our home being older so they did the proper covering and matched the windows to the exterior of the home. When they left, there wasn't a speck left behind. They were very easy to deal with. During the year since our new windows, we've seen a difference in our electric and heating bills.

The windows are of higher quality than what was in my house when it was built. Their installers were fast, professional, neat, and made sure the view from the street looked like before. I think the salesperson was a bit too thorough in his selling of their product, though for some people they might like that level of detail. I would absolutely call them again.

I obtained 3 estimates-- 1 from Sears, which was comically outrageous, another from Window World, and another from a local small business. The latter two were competitive in price, with Window World being about $200 cheaper. Being somewhat fiscally challenged, and knowing I wasn't planning on staying in the house for an eternity, I chose Window World since they were cheaper. I purchased 8 windows from them. They were able to install them about a week earlier than promised. For a small fee (which was well worth it) they took down and put back up my blinds, too.

The way they installed the windows required a tiny modification to the exterior of my townhouse, but it was enough of a modification that my HOA threw a fit and required me to make some changes that hid the unsightly modification that resulted from the new window frames. Window World promptly and courteously took care of that charge at my request.

There was also slight damage to a wall perpendicular to one of my kitchen windows (and quot;sometimes these things happen when you are taking out these types of windowsand quot;, I was told) but the installer spackled that up for me, and I am sure that it will look just fine once I get around to re-painting the wall.

One thing unexpected was that one of the installers had to do a little pest control after one of the windows on the bottom floor had been pulled out. There must have been a million tiny ants entering my house from that opening. I had never seen so many ants! I retrieved my can of Raid and sprayed those critters as he helped catch the army that continued to invade. I was freaking out, but he was very helpful and handled it very professionally.

They were fast and efficient. They had a great price and worked around my schedule.

We only received an estimate, but the salesman was very informative. My only complaint is that we were not informed about the rating requirement needed to apply for a tax rebate (not currently available). We ended up using another company, but when I receiving the follow-up call from them, the woman I spoke with was understanding and expressed a hope that we will be happy with who we had chosen. The third company we received an estimate from was rude and spoke badly about our choice.

Overall, a very good experience.

The two men they sent out to our house were very nice and professional. We are very happy with the quality of windows. We like that there is a screen built into the window. Makes our house look new.

The only thing that I did not like is that we had to take down all of our blinds and curtains around all our windows and put it back. This was very inconvenient. I think it would have been alot quicker for these window people to do it instead of us. It has been like 2 weeks and we still have to rooms where we still do not have blinds back up.

They showed up on time and communicated really well. They gave us an estimate of what time they were going to come out. I had no problems with them.

The sales rep. was pleasant and professional, and his price estimate matched the final billing to the penny. The installers were extraordinary (three men from Kosovo). They removed the old windows, installed the new, caulked the seams, and cleaned the work area in what seemed like about an hour (due to some difficulty with the casements, it was actually somewhat longer). For installing regular double-hung windows, however, their speed and efficiency was commendable. They also pointed out a couple of problem areas when they removed the old windows, which I was able to repair before the new windows were installed. The quality of the replacement windows seems to be good (they have been in use for about 16 months). The design of the replacements, however, allows for the collection of dust, debris, and especially tree pollen at the bottom of the window frame, and cleaning at least twice a year is a bit of a chore because the design of that section of the window does not allow for a quick sweeping or hosing out of the collected debris.
