Overall the job went very well. There was a minor problem with the sliding door which they came out immediately and fixed. The estimate, work done, and clean-up was done in a professional manner. The crew was diligent, punctual, and knew what they were doing. Skyline has their own crew and do not use sub-contractors like a lot of other window replacement companies do. It took approximately 3 mos. from signing the contract to date of work for the job to be completed. Remarkably the deposit for this job was only $5.00! I would not hesitate to use Skyline again.

We were worried about getting the windows replaced due to all the horror stories on reviews and we talked to a number of window installers. Skyline Windows was excellent from beginning to end. The price was 1/3 of the cost of Anderson and they did what they said they would do. The windows look great due to their attention to detail. They installed 1/4 trim on the inside (which they didn't have to) and it looks great. The installers were professional, left zero trash and clean windows. Our house is 10 degrees cooler and we couldn't be happier.

All aspects of this project went very well. The crew was on time and very pleasant to work with. They were very professional and careful to cause as little disruption as possible. The entire job was completed in less than two days including cleaning up afterwards. They even took down and replaced numerous window treatments.

I purchased and had installed a sliding patio door from Skyline Windows. When I signed the contract (only $5.00 deposit) I was told installation would be 8-12 weeks. Eight weeks later, I was contacted for installation on December 2nd. Installation took about 5 hours and I paid the remainder of the contract price. While inspecting and checking over everything that had to do with the door and installation, I found a couple of things I was not exactly happy with (I’m in the engineering field and am fairly particular about such things). I figured that Skyline Windows would say that since they had my money that they would not bother with coming back to fix some minor things that I wasn’t happy with. I live just over an hour away from their office. I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy they were to deal with to try to make sure I was satisfied. They sent someone out to evaluate my concerns and said they would like to schedule a re-installation. We talked about my concerns and how to address them and we scheduled a re-installation. The re-installation went well and all my concerns were taken care of. I’m very happy with how the whole process went. I was not happy to have to have a re-installation, but I understand that sometimes errors are made. What separates the companies that really want to satisfy their customers versus companies that just want to make as much profit as possible is what’s demonstrated by Skyline Windows. I’d gladly recommend them as a good company to deal with and would use them again with no hesitation.

We cannot say enough positive things about Skyline Windows. From our initial meeting with Jared, to the final install, everything was smooth and well communicated. The initial estimate and product overview discussion was as pleasant as possible. We had 6 different estimates for this process, and Skyline's was the most easy going...by far. There was no ridiculous sales pitch full of circus stunts, and heat lamps, etc. Just a simple brass-tax overview of his windows, and why they would work for our project. Jared was available before and after the meeting, quick to answer any follow-up questions we had. The Prices are very competitive with any other estimate we received. One HUGE TIP: Ignore all the national brands. They are WAY OVER PRICED. Use the small local companies, they will provide great service and very competitive pricing. However, We were very surprised and quite pleased at the workmanship of the install crew --- Billy, Josiah and one other who's name I didn't catch --- we were very pleased with their prompt on time arrival, speed of work, courteousness, and care taken in and around our home. Perhaps it's solid hiring on Skyline's part, and/or great training, but we really believe they went the extra mile not to trample flowers or plants and to clean up. Since the four biggest windows are located right above my wife's vegetable garden, we were concerned that there would be some plant "casualties." But Billy was able to work around it by setting up a small scaffold to work over the garden, and not in it. Additionally, the gentleman who worked inside, even took the time to screw in the brackets for my blinds that I had loosened so they could complete the install. It amounts to 26 brackets with 2 screws per bracket, so about 10-15min of work saved for me. Billy even offered to help move furniture back into place, which I felt was really above and beyond. These, while individually are not huge individual tasks, are great examples of the "little things" the Skyline crew did to make this a painless process, and I could see being a tremendous help to a lot of clients. Finally, I felt the clean up job was terrific. With all the wood, metal, nails, and other debris flying around, I was amazed at how little was actually left in my yard (and not a speck of dust in the house) once they were finished. I would estimate they picked up about 99.8% of every piece of debris, and the remaining 0.2% is so small one would be here the rest of the month picking up tiny pieces. Anyway, we feel that Billy and his install team deserved the best of our compliments and were very pleased with their work.

Window glass was replaced correctly and efficiently.

I had gotten three estimates to replace our dysfunctional wood windows with vinyl. With the cash discount, Skyline was the least expensive and I liked the look and functionality of their windows better. In addition to replacing the double-hung windows, existing picture windows and circle tops, we had one set of three double-hung windows converted to a picture window with 2 smaller double-hungs; 4 sets of double-hung windows in our sunroom were converted into sliders; and 2 double-hungs over the bath tub were converted into an opaque slider. Over the course of the project I had interactions with three of the owners, and all were very knowledgeable and conscientious. I had some last minute changes and they were very accommodating. The windows were ready in the time frame they expected. Installation took 2 full days with a crew of 7 - 9 men. Again, everyone was very polite, knowledgeable and conscientious about their work. I had some little things I asked them to help me with not exactly related to the windows, and they didn't hesitate if it was within their power (they even helped me unload bags of mulch from my car). One window arrived cracked and another window wasn't quite the right size but they ordered new ones before I even knew something was wrong; I expect those to arrive soon. Exterior trim in a color that matches my siding finished the job. Everything was cleaned up each day, better than I clean it myself. The house immediately felt better and I am very pleased with my choice.

2 other homes in my neighborhood had Skyline replace their windows before we decided to do ours. They were pleased so we got an estimate. Randy Ray came to our home. He was very professional and friendly and explained the process of getting ours replaced. We ordered the windows - when they came in the team who installed them was very nice and they cleaned up everything before they left. We got a lifetime guarantee on the work that transfers to one owner when we sell our home.

The sales department thoroughly explained the features of the windows offered. Skyline sells QUALITY and can explain what makes a quality window. A 7-person installation crew installed 21 windows in 1 day. Each and every person on their crew took obvious pride in their work. Outstanding job!

After doing our homework, and getting 4 estimates to replace the peeling vinyl clad windows on our house, we chose Skyline Windows of Richmond. Their cost was comparable to another company, but after careful review, we believed the windows offered by Skyline were of better quality. We were impressed by the initial sales call; the company is family owned, their installers are employees vs. contractors, there was no hard sell. Calls made to ask questions about the windows were returned promptly. The owner met us at the showroom, at a time they were normally closed, in order to show us their sliding glass doors. On the day of the install, a crew of 8 or 9 men arrived promptly. They had our old windows out and the new ones installed, everything was cleaned up, and it only took them 6 hours. We are very pleased with our new windows and slider.

I could not have been more pleased with the job that Skyline Windows did in replacing the windows in my house. The old windows were wooden and were original to the house (30+ years old) and many had broken seals and were fogging up between the panes. Several friends at church gave very high praise and recommendations for Skyline Windows and the reviews on Angie's List were glowing, so I gave them a call. Every employee of Skyline Windows with whom I interacted during this process behaved with exceptional respect, courtesy and professionalism. Phone calls, emails and questions were answered promptly and all commitments were met to the letter. Randy came out for the initial estimate and for the final measurements - he was very kind and personable and did a great job of explaining the options without putting any pressure into the situation. Jared took the time to show me the windows and explain many features when I stopped by the showroom. I bought the Okna 500 windows and could be more happy with them. They look so clean, bright and sharp. I am surprised at how much quieter the house is with them as opposed to the old windows. The installation crew had not been gone more than half an hour before one of my neighbors stopped me and told me how good the new windows looked. The quoted lead time on the windows was 5-7 weeks from the order date and true to that, Skyline called me a few days early and said the windows were ready. They were very patient and were able to accommodate my work schedule - the windows were installed 6 weeks to the day from when they were ordered. The installation crew themselves (direct Skyline employees, by the way - not contractors) did an absolutely fantastic jobs. Four guys showed up at 8:30 AM as promised (actually a few minutes early) and got right to work. Two more showed up a couple hours later as they had finished smaller jobs in the area earlier in the day. I was very impressed with the efficiency and quality of their work. Everything was done with the greatest care and precision. They had all 14 windows completely finished in less than 5 hours. When they were done, they went by every single window and vacuumed up any dust or debris even after picking up the drop cloths. One more thing - I was particularly amazed at the quality of their trim work. The color and shaping of the new trim metal and caulk was SPOT ON to the old trim and to the other trim on the house (which they did not touch). It was a perfect match. There really is not enough good I can say about the quality of this job. It was well worth every penny spent on it. Through friends and Angie's List reviews, I had heard of the high reputation that Skyline Windows has. They definitely deserve that reputation. This is a company that cares deeply about the quality of their work and the needs of their customers and it shows in all that they do. It was a real pleasure to do business with a company of this quality and professionalism. Thank you for a job well done!

Fantastic from beginning to end. They only required a $5 deposit and the rest when the job was complete. Jared the sales manager was very helpful. He showed me the Provia door app for iPad and I used it to calculate the total cost with different options so that I could find something to fit my budget. I love their low pressure sales approach - it was refreshing. The installers did a wonderful job the fit and finish was A+. They definitely know what they are doing. Polite and courteous and clean up afterwards. Great company. Satisfied customer
