We moved from Arlington to Richmond; they loaded, transported, and unloaded our possessions on their truck. They were professional, kind, and very reasonably priced. They did a great job with our move!

The guys were great! Very respectful. Only just one important suggestion... carry tools for ALL KINDS of beds. Thank God it worked out for all!!

Jay, Aaron & Nick were incredible!  They were prompt and extremely professional.  My bill was based on an hourly basis.  That being said, not only were the 3 of them efficient, they never stopped moving.  I've used other moving companies that also billed hourly and they worked at a snails pace.  When we reached the house, they were patient with me while I decided the placement of my furniture (even if it was moved several times).  These gentlemen went above and beyond what I expected.  The final bill was exactly what I expected.  As long as Jay, Aaron and Nick are available, I will use this company again.  I have already referred several friends.  I hope the owners know they have 3 exceptional employees and they should be acknowledged for an excellent job.  Keep up the good work.

Both of the guys that came were just wonderful. They were courteous and very careful and thoughtful about moving our furniture. I would highly recommend mover dudes!

After a mild confusion with the original company merge with Mover Dudes, Ben took the ball and got us back on schedule. The movers kept the utmost professionalism, as well as haste. Their work ethic was beyond believable!

I purchased two hours of moving on Angie's List for this company.  In spite of my numerous phone calls and emails - I cannot get anyone to call (or email) me back to schedule the move.  I am asking for a prompt refund from Angie's List.

Walker and Nick were great, friendly and fast service! They were running the entire time. They had it all done within the two hours I already paid for. Definitely recommend! Gave their information to our rental office already.

The Venture Brothers are outstanding movers.  They were punctual, professional, and fast while moving my belongings.  The two gentleman that did the move were courteous and had great senses of humor as well!  I don't have a lot of experiences with movers, but my folks have done quite in their lives and they remarked these guys were the best that they've seen!  I  wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use the company in the future.

We could not believe how these movers would take items to the van then RUN back to the house for more. I'm not talking about a fast walk, I'm talking RUNNING. They did this for both the move out and the move into the new house. Around 4 hours that would have normally been 8-10 from past experience.

We recently engaged Venture Brothers LLC for a local move in Richmond.  Moving is usually a hectic experience, but the Venture Brothers team, Jae, Karl, and Aaron actually made it a pleasure. The team moved quickly and efficiently in completing the job, sometimes running from place to place. A move that would have taken my family an entire weekend took them only three hours. They took good care of every piece of furniture including a piano.  The team was polite, positive and a real pleasure to work with.  We highly recommend Venture Brothers.

Excellent customer service!!! They called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. They were very nice, hard working guys. They were moving so fast I had to tell them to slow down a bit. Lol. I'm extremely satisfied with the work they did. All furniture was in tact and there were no scuff marks on the walls. I would definitely recommend these guys and I'm sure I'll use them again in the future. Oh....and the price was very much affordable with no hidden fees. 2 hours of labor, 3 guys, and truck for $270.00. Thanks!!!

Overall a good and bad experience. I'll start with the good. The employees were young guys that were really nice, energetic and professional. They moved stuff from our storage locker to the moving van pretty easily with no issues. They were great to work with. 
Once they got to the house things changed, not because of the employees, but because one of the owners, I believe his name was Walker showed up. Apparently they had a few moves booked for the day and were running behind so he started rushing them.
This is where things started to go downhill. From a perspective of getting everything into the house, the moving team did a good job. The only casualty was a lamp shade, which was not really a big deal. They were very aware of the walls and new floors and did little to no damage there.
However, Walker (the owner) who took charge of putting the bedroom furniture back together for two of the bedroomms did a terrible job. At first when the job was done things looked fine, but when I sat on the bed, something didn't feel right so I took a closer look and lifted the mattress and it was a disaster. Hardware was installed all wrong, slats were installed for both beds at a diagonal angle, and the middle wood support on both beds was not installed, meaning if someone actually laid on either bed, both would've of collapsed in the center. So essentially I had to take both beds apart and rebuild them.
That was annoying but what really agitated me was that when we called Walker about it, he wasn't really apologetic and his excuse was that it was in poor shape because he forgot to bring his drill set. So basically instead of telling me "hey I can't build these beds right because I forgot my tools," he just threw it together and said nothing. Surprising coming from one of the owners of the company, as I would've been fine if he just told me the issue and offered to come back. Instead he just went with poor quality of work and said nothing, even though I assume he probably knew the beds would actually break if someone laid on them.
The other thing about Walker is that we had a bunch of brand new moving blankets that our stuff in storage was wrapped in. I asked him and his team not to take these, and he still did anyway. My wife had to call to have him return them, which he did a week later, but he returned the wrong mats. All of these were old and used. At this point I just said whatever as I didn't want to deal with him again.
Anyway, overall they got the job done, but my the experience with Walker just left a bad taste. If you can't count on transparency and quality from the owner of the business, how can you really trust the business itself? Maybe it was just a bad day, but I expect a lot more from a business owner other than "Well I didn't have my tools, so that's why I did such a crappy job."

Very responsive and quick to return emails and answer all questions. Our moving crew was great! Courteous and professional. I'm glad we hired them and would definitely use them again.

My husband and I had packed MANY boxes and had just a few pieces of furniture to move into a rental truck.  I have never seen anyone work harder or faster, than these three gentlemen.  Ben, Joshua and Jay are great examples of hard working and extremely courteous men.  They worked non-stop and completed the job in record time.  Starting from my phone conversation with Ben, I was sold on feeling comfortable and using this company.  So happy that we did!  I will highly recommend them to everyone who needs movers.  The price was great and the team interaction was even better.  I'm sure we will be calling them when it's time to make our final move and need our bigger furniture loaded on a truck.  One of the best parts of this experience was finding out that the 16 foot truck would accommodate all of our items.  We thought we were going to have a rent another truck next month, to take another load down to our retirement home.  This was accomplished by their packing method. They were able to pack it tight and utilized almost every inch.  That is no small feat!  Don't hesitate on giving Ben a call.

They helped us move from a large five bedroom house that had just sold, to our temporary apartment, placing our remaining items in storage. Our furniture consisted of large heavy pieces, family antiques and even a sailfish. Over the years we've had several corporate moves and Venture Brothers managed all our items with the same experience and care as corporate movers. The four man crew was prompt, professional, courteous and worked at a very swift pace. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I had previously moved three times in my life, and each move had gone horribly.  The fourth time was the charm!!  I moved from a two-bedroom townhome to a one-bedroom apartment, about 10 miles apart.  The guys arrived about 20 minutes early, were very professional, and were extremely expeditious.  My neighbors even commented on how fast they hustled and requested their information for an upcoming move.  My fragile items were handled with such care, and they were very respectful of my newly painted walls.  I couldn't be more satisfied.  Although I hope I don't move for a long time, I would love to work with them again.

it was an excellent experience. I had a bad experience where i contracted with some local guys who said they would charge me 80 Per hr and they didn't show up. Then I contacted Ben was able to find me the next closest move date and we were able to move in time. Thank you Venture Brothers.
