While I did not hire, this is the second time I have had Ernest Mowbray come to quote a job because he is a courteous and knowledgeable person. I always learn from our interactions, and I hope to work with him in the future. He knows what he is doing, but his price was $800 higher than the company we chose, especially his Per Window quote.
He had a very large project coming up in the Summer. I would suggest that he create a reference sheet with addresses and phone numbers for different size jobs and neighborhoods.

"I thank [member name removed] for her input on my company. One of the reasons for my quote being higher than others may be attributed to the fact that her house has lead based paint and was peeling badly especially the windows. As a licensed EPA lead renovator, I have to follow a set of guidelines to insure the safety of her family, pets, and my employees. This adds approximately 25% to the cost of a paint job. I have been painting for over 45 years and I know the amount of time it takes to paint and prep a house. Prepping windows where the putty is falling out is very time consuming if done correctly, especially with lead based paints. I hope this helps to clarify some of the discrepancy. - Ernie Mowbray"
