It started fine, good contact, flexible scheduling.  I was a bit wary when the plumbers balked at installing the smooth side American Standard toilet that I had purchased from Lowes.  They said setting the toilet would be a problem, they could not guarantee installation, and that I might have to sign a waiver.  That was a concern.  The plumbers then called the office, and the install went forward with no waivers, no problems.  It has been over a month and all seems fine; no leaking.

I called the day I purchased the reduced-price service off of Angie's List and got a call back in a reasonable length of time. They were able to visit my home the same week as the call back which was very convenient for me. I had quite a few questions about my plumbing and the plumber was patient with all my concerns. He showed me how things worked and explained things in terms I could understand which I really appreciated. I learned several useful things and can better maintain my home now with his advice. The plumber also did some minor adjustment on the stopper in a bathroom sink so that now my sink holds water when I need it to. I could not have asked for a better visit. Having the whole house inspection was especially nice because he gave me his assessment of the quality of work put into my home by the last owner. Thanks, Glen!

Foster contacted me and said they did not handle my type of furnace. They suggested my getting in touch with Angie's list for a refund.

The gentlemen who came to my house were professional and appeared knowledgeable.  There was some concern expressed about servicing a water heater as old as mine, but I assured them that this was done on a regular basis.  I did have several questions about two of my commodes and there was an effort to fix both of them but they were unable to do so.  The men did arrive late for their appointment and I did call to see if they were on the way. This was the week of Hurricane Sandy and while I understood a need for the company to have a coordinating meeting, I thought a phone call to waiting customers was in order.

They were on time polite.  Also they took the time to explain the problem and cost.  Also they came back afterwords to make sure everythign was ok with the work

Service took about an hour to complete. The company sent 2 people, 1 did the house inspection the other did the water heater flushing.

Two technicians arrived on time. One proceeded to drain the hot water heater and the other conducted the plumbing inspection. They checked all plumbing on both floors and in the crawl space underneath, providing information and answering questions. They were knowledgeable and professional in every way.

All went great.... I was well pleased and would highly recommend this company based on my experience with them.

The service was professional and on time. However, the company was higher priced than the one I have used in the past.  Previous company took the time to show me what they found, did, etc and give advice as to maintenance, etc. - even checked my filters. This company checked the unit but did not check filters and did not give me any feedback other than that everything looked fine. Sea

Two people showed up . They looked at all parts, cleaned and made adjustments where needed.They were here for about an hour.

Arrived at scheduled time.  Professional service from the first second.   The electrician installed two thermostats and instructed me how to use them.   Quick and proficient!

The plumbers arrived on time and were extremely polite.  They explained everything they were doing as they did it and showed me potential problem areas/explained situations very clearly.  They cleaned up everything as they left.  Job was done very well.

The installation went fine.  The price was comparable to another company I called.   The installers were on time and cleaned up the mess.  It was odd that I had to fill out the survey rating the installer in front of the installer.  Installer stated that we would get a follow up visit from someone and that person would bring the air filter (they did not have the particular size needed in stock - granted, it is an odd size not available at the local home depot).  In the meantime, I bought the size I needed on-line and the unit seems to be working just fine.

The two plumbers arrived on time and did the job was done in less than a hour. One plumber took care of the water heater and the other one did the inspection. I was worried that a lot of problems would be found as this is an older home but the plumber said that everything looks great.  This was a very good experience and plan to call Foster's for any future plumbing needs.

The tech was on time. Nice, professional, informative, gave me some tips on how to get better performance from my system. He showed me how I had accidentally done damage to a part by improper maintenance.  He had a positive reaction when my two big dogs came into the room. It was a very good experience and worth the money. He did also advise me on some possible future maintenance needs.

I called to schedule a date and time for this service, and was unable to get a specific time window, but I did receive a call as requested, 30 minutes prior to the workers arriving. The job went pretty well; my water heater was drained and refilled, and my plumbing was inspected.  They did not find any leaks, with the exception of an outside faucet.  They did provide me with a quote to either replace the faucet or washer, but I just asked them to turn off the water to that faucet.
The reason for the "B" grade is that they inadvertently left my water heater leaking water from a loose valve.  There was a small amount of water in the pan when they left, which I assumed dripped from the hose when it was disconnected.  I cleaned it up but discovered more water there the next morning.  When I called to report what had happened, they were very responsive and came right back out to tighten the valve that was left loose and there was no more leaking. I did appreciate the prompt response, but I do think they should probably have noticed this before they left.  Overall, it was a good deal and I would hire them again.
