Critter Control

Terrible work, terribly overpriced. Tech broke my vent cover on installation leaving a large hole and the cage wasn't even flush with the wall then just left without telling me they had damaged my property. Took 3 calls to get someone to call me back and repair the poor work and no one ever apologized or offered a discount. Communication is also awful. Never gave advanced notice of when the tech would show up and she then came on a different day than what she had previously said and acted annoyed that I wasn't at home. To make it all worse there were never any mice even caught and I suspect I was scammed and told that droppings from prior work last year were fresh. The company didn't honor their warranty from work done last year because it was a different franchise owner and the new franchise charged an outrageous amount. Now I'm having difficulty getting through to cancel the monthly service I don't need because I don't even have mice. Never use them.

The critter control guy on dakins rd is rude and drives his truck every morning bye my house extremely to fast it’s a 35 zone with kids waiting for the bus and he is well over the speed limit . This is extremely dangerous and should be looked at by the company because it makes you guys look real bad to the community .

I was really letdown with the service . I had a racoon problem in my shed. Hired CC to come out and alleviate problem for $399. Dropped off cages and would return for four follow-up days. Tech would not enter shed. Left cages on the ground. The mother never exited to the ground, she exited the roof, onto the fence never touching the yard. I told him this but he was the wiser. On 2nd day he returned and sprayed coyote urine or something like that . At end of four days no capture. removed traps. I felt that I had wasted my money when I thought I was doing the right thing. With no other options other than trying to capture the racoon myself, I hired a demo team to come in and remove shed. Did not find mother racoon but found four (4) babies in the back of the shed which ran out when the doors were opened. Shed was demolished and towed away. The mother returned in the evening and was frantic looking for her babies that had dispersed...in the trees over the fence, etc. She has returned every day since then looking for her lost babies. She has found two but I fear the other two have met dire circumstances. I think if CC had at least cracked the door to the shed, they would have seen and/or heard that animals were inside. Just beware they will not enter any premises other than your house for critter issues. If I had known that up front I may have tried to find someone else. So I ended up paying twice to correct a problem. Lesson learned.

Ridiculously hard to schedule anual service with no call backs waste of time

Dan was great!! He was honest and thorough, which saved me several hundreds of dollars. He took the time to educate me on what was going on and what to do in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on Critter control again.

Very well, exactly as both Dan the project lead and Justin the field technician predicted.

The initial consultation was comprehensive, follow-up visits were prompt. We had one call-back to address an unresolved issue, which closed the case. I would have preferred a lower price but to be fair, I did not have a frame of reference for pricing. They were also highly recommended by co-workers.

I was very impressed at the professionalism and knowledge demonstrated by Dan, the CC representative. He explained the process thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend the company to others.

In the nick of time as European Hornets had broken through the ceiling in our study but Dan from Critter Control was there to stem the tide. Very professional job.

Great! Dan promptly showed up for the appt today scheduled yesterday. He was very professional and knowledgable and quickly identified and repaired the problem. Dan and these guys are good at what they do. Highly recommend them.

The critters were squirrels and they're gone!

The gentleman was very prompt, professional and thorough. He completely explained what he found in his inspection. He walked around the exterior of the house, explained what needed to be done and showed me areas in the siding which might even become future problems with Critters getting into my house. He rapidly set the traps, checked them as proposed and left hang tags on my door with daily progress and reports. After removal he secured the original area of entry so they would not return. I was very pleased with his professionalism!

It went well. Tim climbed a 40 ft. ladder, took out the birds' nests, and re-positioned the soffit, and then re-attached everything with nails and screws. He even had an extra piece of material on hand to cover a small gap left in the soffit. He did an efficient and thorough job, and seemed very knowledgeable.

We called Critter Control because a bird had made a nest in our second floor bathroom exhaust vent. Dan from Critter Control was prompt, courteous and performed the service we requested and then some. Dan came out and removed the nest and installed a screen and vent guard. He also fixed an issue with the duct (where the nest was located) because it had gotten kinked during an install of insulation in our attic. After Dan had removed the bird's nest and installed a screen and vent guard, he went around inspecting the other house vents to see if there were any problems. He then replaced vent cover on our other bathroom exhaust (first floor) as part of their service, and plugged a hole in our foundation that was left after our AC/Heat pump had been replaced. Dan did not try to promote any additional services that I did not want or need. He was extremely professional and explained exactly what he had done. I could not be happier with the experience and would highly recommend Dan from Critter Control to friends and neighbors without reservation.

Excellent service

Excellent! Squirrels were removed from area and steel sheeting was put up to prevent squirrels or other animals from entering.

Critter Control was very quick to respond - they had someone here the same day I called and had traps installed that afternoon. They were very thorough in removing the squirrels and blocking the entrances. The process was explained thoroughly and they followed through exactly as described. Most importantly, I haven't heard squirrels in 3 weeks.

Critter control came out trapped and removed the animals,and solved our problem! Very, very sweet people and very quick to respond. If you have a critter problem, please give them a call. the price was very good as well. I would defiantly use them again! Awesome company

Critter Control was awesome! They got me an appt almost immediately. I have previously had squirrel issues. For the inspection special through Angie's List, they didn't just look at where i thought the issue was -- they went in attic, crawl space, and on top of the roof! They checked the chimney caps that were already in place. They patched an area where critters could be getting in, put some mesh around the crawlspace access, and put down baited traps for mice that are safe for kitties and other animals. The traps were a small additional fee. They told me if I heard anymore scratching sounds from the wall to call them -- and if it happens in the next thirty days, any additional treatment is free. Highly recommend!
